Summary
“Jiang Cheng stop! It’s fine!”
Jiang Cheng whorls to face his brother whose hand is still restraining him. Wei Wuxian looks exhausted, too thin and too pale and covered in too much of his own blood and way too fucking exhausted and what does he mean it’s fine!? “He had you pinned to a tree!”
“Yeah, so?”
“So!?” Jiang Cheng stares at his brother in mingled outrage and disbelief. “You let him do that to you without even fighting back!?”
“Sometimes I fight back.” A bit of amusement is beginning to show beneath the exhaustion now and Jiang Cheng can’t fucking understand what could possibly be funny about any of this.
OR At the end of an already terrible day Jiang Cheng finds someone pinning his brother against a tree.
