Summary
Jayce and Viktor are the youngest, most desirable, self made men of the 21st century.
For the first time in his life, Viktor feels stable. He's 21 years old, living in a beautiful apartment with Jayce, a cat named Rio, and has an obscene amount of money even after giving half of his paychecks to charity.
Unfortunately he can't help but feel a little empty. He's always wanted to have children. Hextech is showing no signs of slowing down, he has a strong support system, his health is better than ever since going to physical therapy. He isn't getting any younger. So why not?
Why not have a baby?
This story starts when they meet as teenagers and all of the trials and tribulations they endure over coming years.

Summary
Viktor’s gaze flickers back to him as the waves break against the sand, white-edged and lazy. They look at each other, as if standing on two opposite sides of an ocean, and Jayce is just as tragic, just as beautiful as the shore is. Grey, and tired in that peculiar light; scared, undoubtedly, in some inexplicable way.
Viktor blinks and steps into the sun. He can feel it shine on his face.
“Will you tell me, now? About that nightmare?” he asks.
There’s a deep intake of air; a wide, bright spell stretching across the line where they stand. Two strides that feel like nothing—like the end of the world—before Jayce holds him. His hands come up, knuckles brushing against Viktor’s face. Wind and salt, and his heart caught halfway. A gasp that doesn’t spill.
“Jayce,” he says, and he does sound like he’s outrun a boat, an army, to make it here. It’s a prying open, spine and bones to reach for something Viktor never thought he would be asked to give. He whispers, “Jayce, what are you doing?”
Or - Jayce gets one more chance to fix it.

Summary
In spite of everything fate and destiny threw their way, they survived and made it out alive. But a quiet life filled with lingering questions makes for madness and restless nights, so Jayce asks Viktor for a favor. There is one lingering thread that he needs to cut loose. A simple question that needs answering: What ever happened to the Machine Herald? To the other version of Viktor that he came to care for so deeply. The version of him who helped Jayce when and how he needed it most? Did he keep his promise to speak to Giopara? Did they work things out? Or did they come to blows? Is he still desperately alone? There is only one way to find out: Time for a visit.
TL;DR: Jayce brings Viktor to meet the Machine Herald and Giopara. They discover that despite ostensibly being the same people, they couldn't be more different. But at the end of the day, their hearts want the same thing.

Jayce formulates a plan to take his partner of four years out on a date. If it goes well, he can live through the fantasy of Viktor being his and his alone without fear of rejection.

“Why were you reluctant to work with me then ?”
Jayce almost regretted asking. His eyes catched the minimal change in Viktor’s posture. He stiffened, bad leg tensed, smile tightened. He kept writing on his keyboard like nothing was wrong, but Jayce was a detective assistant. His purpose was to see, to dig, to analyze. Knowing his presence could be a bother didn’t sit right with him.
“My work is all I have. I am certain you have noticed, your analytic factor is high and you seem to have a craving for knowledge. The perfect partner, I guess." Viktor stood up suddenly, grabbing his worn out coat. "We have to go now Jayce, another corpse was found.”
OR Jayce is the perfect android to help stopping the deviants with the Lieutenant Viktor Nowak, until he is not.

OR
Jayce realizes he's horny for Viktor. Which is fine, really. He's managing. But after Viktor doesn't join him at the Piltover Academy End of Year Ball, Jayce has one-too-many drinks and ends up trashed. Which is also fine.
Until it's not. Because Viktor shows up after all. Surely the Boys of Progress can keep it together? (And if they can't, you can bet there's gonna be lots of secret mutual pining and drunken chaos until they get their shit together)
