‘You should have woken me,’ Crowley admonished, using the belligerent tone he reserved for the times when he felt his words might be too soft. ‘You’re an idiot.’
‘You like your sleep,’ Aziraphale had countered. ‘And it really wasn’t necessary. I’m perfectly capable of coping.’
Aziraphale and Crowley have to change their planned evening out with Anathema when stress takes its toll on Aziraphale.
Yes, more Aziraphale whump… but at least it’s in the whumping month. Hope you enjoy it and all the cosy Crowley (and Anathema) caretaking that ensues 😊. References to the board game The Witches, but you don’t need to have played it to follow (although you might get slightly more of the references if you have).
It’s probably only one chapter long, although I guess I’ve set it up as a sort of chronic illness thing, so I might change my mind and add more.

Aziraphale chuckled. “I don't know that you can spoil me more than you already do each day, my dear husband, but I know I’m in good hands with you both. We are in good hands now.” Aziraphale felt another tear make its journey over the plump skin of his cheek. He was a “we” now. The thought caused him to tremble just a little.
Crowley felt it and hugged him close, dipping his head to rest his chin on Aziraphale's shoulder, keeping their eyes locked in the reflection. “To think I used to avoid being surrounded by angels - excluding my favourite one, of course - and now I have three of them and I am so happy and so, so lucky.”
Aziraphale took a deep breath and exhaled it slowly. "I'm pregnant," he said with wonder sparkling in his voice. "I'm pregnant. I’m pregnant. I’m pregnant. Oh, Crowley, I get to say it.” He looked down at his belly and began to cry. “I’m pregnant.”
Crowley tightened his hug. “You're pregnant, my sweet Angel. You're having my baby.” He felt his eyes burn with tears as he began to cry, too.

Midwife Anathema takes a small break in the cottage kitchen as Crowley labors. She and Newt chat about the impending birth as Newt helps relax her aching muscles. They share a sweet, loving moment with one another before Anathema goes off to rejoin Crowley and Aziraphale.
Newt has his own moments of contemplation as he has witnessed Anathema in her element as a midwife while he patiently waits for his dearest friends' new baby to arrive.

Aziraphale is teaching at Kings College London. He's been teaching at King College London for a long time now thank you very much and he does not take kindly to new Professors being sprung on him suddenly.
Especially when this one has quite publically made his opinon of Aziraphale's work known.

It doesn't seem like the Omega has much more luck, that is, until the mother of storms breaks loose and settles in and he cannot leave the premises.
