His eyes widen as Glimmer turns to his niece “You think so, Row?”
“I know so” she replies with all the confidence in the world “He really likes you, he told me himself!”
Bow isn’t entirely sure whether the embarrassment or the anxiety is stronger, all he knows is that he wants the world to swallow him whole right now “Um- I- I mean I did say that but I-”
Luckily, Glimmer doesn’t seem to take the comment too seriously, as she smiles “Well I should hope so, we are best friends”
And just when Bow thinks it’s safe to feel any sense of relief, Rowan opens her mouth again, and makes the world crumble from underneath him “I think he likes you in a more than best friends way! I think he like likes y-”
“OKAY!”
When Bow agrees to babysit Rowan, and she wants to have Glimmer over, he figures they're just going to have a fun night. What he doesn't expect is his 5 year old niece exposing him and all of his secrets... He's in for a fun time.

Written for day 6 of Glimbow Week: Milestones
She can’t believe she’s about to tell Bow they’re having a baby, she’s been wanting to tell him for so long. She’d had something made back when they were still trying. Glimmer was starting to think she’d never be able to give it to him. It’s cheesy and kind of ridiculous but she knows her husband, and she knows her husband will love it.
(Yeah, that’s right, Bow is her husband. Gods, she loves saying that.)
And finally, after all of Bow’s surprises, the spontaneous dates and little gifts, she can finally be the one to give him something. She’s the one that gets to laugh at his shocked face, and she’s the one who gets to say-
“Surprise!”
When Glimmer finds out that she's pregnant, she thinks this is finally her chance to surprise Bow for once. But she underestimates how romantic her husband can be.

She should want to hope that he’s moved on and that he’s happy. But instead Glimmer’s selfish and she still wants him to think about her, foolishly hopes that he might even still-
“Glimmer?”
Shit. There’s a voice she was not prepared to hear.
She turns around, and there he is. Looking a little different, but still her Bow.
Or not her Bow. She gave up the right to call him that 3 years ago. Glimmer has imagined reuniting with him so many times over the years, in so many different locations, but none of her dreams ever took place in a random coffee shop in Brightmoon.
“Bow?”
He smiles, shaky and slightly in disbelief, as he nods “Hey”
3 years after they break up, Bow and Glimmer run into each other. They spend the day together, and it doesn't take long for revelations to be made and old feelings to resurface.

Written for day 4 of Glimbow Week: Seasonal Vibes
“Hey, Glimmer, how was- Woah!” Bow tries to greet as he walks into the living room, though he’s cut off when he trips. He braces himself for the impact of cold, hard, ground, but instead he’s met with a comforting warmth and softness.
He blinks, trying to take in his surroundings as Glimmer comes and stands over him “You’re home early!”
“Um- yeah. They let me off work early” Bow takes the hand that Glimmer offers, getting up. He gets up and looks behind him “Why is there a pile of blankets here?”
“It was supposed to be a surprise! I was just getting everything together!” She tells him, smiling nervously. It’s only then that he notices the Christmas lights strung up and glowing faintly around the room, and the wonderful smell of hot cocoa wafting through the apartment. There are even 2 mugs waiting on the counter behind them.
Bow hasn't had the best day, but luckily he has a nice surprise waiting for him when he gets home.

“Your majesty, the ball is beautiful as always. I understand that our families have their histories, but we appreciate the invitation all the same”
Her mom smiles, she’s always treated Bow and the rest of his siblings with more grace than Glimmer would “Of course, Prince Bow. All personal feelings aside, this ball is tradition, and all of the kingdoms should be able to enjoy it”
“I couldn’t agree more” he says before his attention turns to her. He smiles at her in a way that feels deceptively kind as he greets “Princess Glimmer”
“Prince Bow” she nods back, keeping her face neutral.
He takes her hand, pressing a light kiss to it, and holding eye contact with her “You look beautiful”
Her smile drips with sarcasm “Bite me”
George, Lance and Angella don't like each other, so neither do Glimmer and Bow.
But behind closed doors it's a different story.

People don’t just come in here and throw themselves onto the bar unless they’re drunk or something’s happened. And you seem pretty sober to me” she says with a matter of fact voice, still smiling “So, go on, what happened?”
Memories, along with a sense of embarrassment, all come rushing back to him. His gaze drifts around the room as he clears his throat “Oh- uhh- you really don’t want to hear about that, it’s fi-”
“What’s your name?”
He looks at her, a little confused “Bow”
“And what’s my job, Bow?”
His expression doesn’t change “Bartender?”
“Exactly, listening to people’s embarrassing stories is part of the job” she reassures him “And if you think your story is bad, trust me, I’ve heard worse”
Bow goes on a series of increasingly terrible dates, and in the process, becomes pretty good friends with a bartender. Fluff and humour ensues as terrible dating stories are exchanged.
