Enjolras was always told that he looked a lot like Tholomyès. Especially his eyes. It all seemed a bit cliché, people talking about how his expression could cut through glass. But he’d inherited his mother’s black curls that Tholomyès always found to be quite unruly, and her dark skin his father was so utterly ashamed of.
Cosette was always told that she had Enjolras’s eyes, by her friends. She usually just laughed it off, joking that maybe he was her long lost cousin or something along those lines. But they both knew it wasn’t true. They both knew that Tholomyès couldn’t possibly be related to someone like Cosette, but the DNA test proved otherwise.
Enjolras had a sister.

Blackness was starting to swirl in the corners of his vision and Enjolras tried to fight past it, stay conscious, but all he could think about was how hot and thirsty he was.
He had to sit down before he fell and he meant to only take a moment, but when he sat, all the adrenaline that had been fueling him drained from his body. He just needed to lie down and catch his breath. Putting his head down made the dark swirls at the edge of his vision start encroaching the rest of it, and the last thing he remembered before losing consciousness was a blurry figure getting closer to him.
“Holy fuck,” the figure said, and then it was all black.

Summary
Horrified by the unfair taxation and treatment of the people, Enjolras leads a group of revolutionaries, determined to overthrow the tyrant king, Felix. What he doesn't know is that one of his band of loyal followers is the Crown Prince, Grantaire, who is determined to help the revolution before his father can have his rebellious son killed. As something starts to spark between the two of them, Grantaire struggles with the knowledge that he is hiding his true identity from Enjolras.
Felix, meanwhile, has his own plans. If Grantaire will not behave on his own, perhaps a marriage to the daughter of his chief advisor, Thenardier, will force him into line.
