A year and a half is a long time to wait for the world to end. It's even longer when, for you, it already has.
Vecna is hiding—somewhere. Max is alive, but barely. And it feels like there’s nothing to be done. The clues have dried up, the trail is cold, the world is rotting.

Summary
Behold the beginning of a beautiful ending. After the Mega Gate was opened everything changed. Hawkins was closed off from the world to contain a "biohazard leak" from spreading and the military seized control to protect its citizens. But there is a sinister truth that lurks beneath and it is waiting to unleash its horror. In the end, who will stand and who will fall?
A fan script for the first episode of Stranger Things 5 and a rough plot outline for the rest of the season. The goal was to create something that at least feels like an episode of Stranger Things. The storyline is an attempt at working in a few fan theories and playing around with new and favourite character pairings and groups.
Graphic Depictions Of Violence: The final scene contains one brief instance of violence with a description of blood. No extreme gore. The plot outline contains some descriptions of death and violence, but nothing in great detail.
This whole thing could be treated like a pilot and pitch for season 5 if that makes it more enjoyable to read.
