This one is BRUTAL; heed the tags and if you have triggers anywhere near them, avoid this. This one is also excellent and gut-wrenchingly plausible. Consent here isn't so much dubious as Steve's "I can take anything you can dish out" stubbornness. Captain Steve "I don't need no stinkin' parachute" Rogers is convinced he can macho his way through anything Tony can throw at him--and he's wrong. Very, very wrong.
Dark!Tony is frighteningly plausible, and the extent of his cruelty really doesn't show up in the first few chapters. (So, if you've started reading... it gets worse. A lot worse.) By the time Steve figures out that he's in over his head, he's kinda stuck. Okay, more than kinda.
When I finished reading this, I had a strong desire to bury myself in fluffy marshmallow fic for a week. (Unfortunately, I don't actually have any fluffy marshmallow fandoms.)
