Summary
Fenris, captain of Starkhaven’s White Guard and the dearest friend of that country’s prince, has arrived in the kingdom of Kirkwall with a retinue of noble-born guards and a carriage brimming with lavish gifts. How else to win over the hearts of a suspicious mountain people who would rather break teeth on stone than accept the prince of Starkhaven stealing away their heir princess?
But stone is all they have in their kitchens lately, and gravel in their quarries and ice in their bitter rivers, and Starkhaven sits abreast the richest lea and moorland south of the Minanter.
And Sebastian Vael, the young prince of that country, needs a wife.

Summary
Okay. So she was fighting next to a templar, who would probably only lock her up for the rest of her natural life, and an elf who may or may not get an erection from watching her expire in a pool of her own blood. Hawke had been in worse places.
---
Surviving as a mage in Kirkwall is harder than it sounds. A story told in vignettes.
While some vignettes overlap or replace some scenes, most are meant to be inserted between plot points in the game. I do not bother to explain what exactly is going on in these, so if you have no knowledge of the game, the finer details might escape you, but you shouldn't be entirely lost.

Summary
"Beware that, when fighting monsters, you yourself do not become a monster...
For when you gaze long into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."
-NietzscheAn Anders-positive Alternate Universe of DA2 and the Mage-Templar War in which he and Hawke have more agency and get better outcomes. F!Mage Hawke/Anders is the main ship, and she is Red/Aggro, competent, smart, and driven.
1: Spells of Healing. Anders escapes, they meet early in Lothering, fall in love, and have a child, but he is taken back before it was born. They meet again in Kirkwall.
2: Spells of Power. Politics, Viscountess Hawke crowned after Act II, a mage-friendly but morally dubious Grand Cleric Petrice, and an attempt at Circle reform. But Meredith isn’t giving up, and Anders sees it clearly.
3: Spells of Battle. The Mage-Templar War, Dragon 9:37-41. The rebel mages fight under Viscountess Hawke; the rebel Templars join a new Chantry schism. Caitlyn's greatest fight yet to stay a good person. Mostly Asunder-compatible.
4: Wills of Adamant. A one-shot about this family after DA:I. Beware of spoilers!

Summary
The Hero died, and Zevran has spent the years unable to parse this fact. He comes to Kirkwall, and suddenly, inexplicably, he cannot stop remembering her.
In which Zevran is ace and aro and broken-hearted, and Fenris is ace and tentative about forming emotional attachments but kind of infatuated with Hawke, who doesn't talk much to anyone at all, really.
This is more a story about Zevran than anything else.

Summary
Rook was good at killing people - or spying on them, depending on what the job called for. What Rook wasn't great at was planning how to kill his own gods, deal with an ex-lover that will not take no for an answer, have another god in his head, and oh. Yeah. Spend time in an underwater prison where they literally shove a Demon of Vice into him. That was fun.
At least, though, he got to rescue the Demon of Vyrantium, who he might have watched with awe and a bit of a crush since he was thirteen, and he's working with capable people. Good people. They can do this.
If Elgar'nan would stop deciding that Rook and his sort of demon were excellent replacements for Falon'Din and Dirthamen. He's not a god, just a Crow.

Summary
Catarina Lewis' world turned upside down, so she ignored it. Until the day she found herself in Thedas. Now she is being swept into adventure after crazy adventure with friends who make life and death into a daily game. The more she learns of herself, the less certain she is of what she wants. Her knowledge of Thedas may come in handy, but everyone she meets is so much more than their character portrayals, and trust is easier said than given. The future she doesn't know seems worse than the one she does-- it is worth trying to change things, especially when she can't know if it will be for the better?

Summary
It is Dragon 9:37, and war has begun. For two years the mage Viscountess of Kirkwall, Caitlyn Hawke, fought violence and obstruction as she expanded mage rights. But at last she and her husband Anders assassinated Meredith Stannard and declared the Kirkwall Circle independent, inspiring more Circle rebellions. Now the chantries of the northern Free Marches have declared a schism due to Divine Justinia’s support of Hawke, with former Grand Cleric Elthina as its “Divine.” Justinia cannot help, as the Templars and Seekers who aren’t joining the schism only care about keeping the other Circles in line. Caitlyn, Anders, the rebels, and their allies must fight the war alone.
Challenges arise at home too. With an ambitious anti-war Coterie boss undermining Caitlyn from one side, mage supremacists from the other, and Grand Cleric Petrice urging Caitlyn to deal with foes ruthlessly, she is tempted more than ever to be a despot. Anders wants to help her keep to the light... but by 9:39, he has his own struggle, a dark voice that will not let him or Justice alone.
(Canon-divergent Mage-Templar War that’s still mostly compatible with Asunder. Reading Parts 1 and 2 of the Spells series is advised.)

Summary
In that very moment, Astarion is suddenly all too certain about three rather disheartening facts.
One - he is very, very far from home.
Two - it’s Gale’s fault that he’s had to contend with subpar plumbing and overt disdain towards his elven heritage.
And three? He’s almost certainly about to be slain by a glowing elf in dire need of a haircut.
Or; in which wandering fingers and a miscast spell lands Astarion squarely in the wonderful world of Thedas, with none other than the ever-delightful Fenris for company.
