She stops to admire the merchandise at another stall, stepping forwards out of Solas’ path. He slides passed with a shout, leaving a trail of icy cobbles behind him. She doesn’t bat an eyelid when he crashes into the back of a wagon filled with cabbages. She hears the wagon owner yell, his donkey’s frightened braying and Solas curse. She pays the startled merchant twenty silvers and fifty bits for bolts of red and blue samite.
“I’ll send Cole around to pick them up later”.
“Of course, milady”, replies the merchant, her eyes on the chaos unfolding down the street. “Oh, that poor fellow”.

Welcome! This is my first FanFic. Based on one of my Dragon Age: Origins characters, Kylara, Human Mage, and her adventures as a Grey Warden in the land of Ferelden. It starts off similar to the original game, but past Chapter 3 things start branching off. A few changes I have made: my character already knows Wynne, as she was Kylara’s former teacher in the Circle Tower. Another change is that I moved the Golem Shale from Honnleath to a town of my own creation in the mountains northwest of Rainesfere. Since fast travel is available in the game, but not in the story, I had to make it more plausible to be able to recruit Shale without having to travel days south, away from all other points in the game. I also used horses and carriages where I thought they would fit into the lore. Mage spells, when written out, are in Scottish Gaelic (long spells already translated) Some characters have had some personality tweaks… A lot of things will not be canon, but I hope you will like it all the same.
