He pulled out the watch and ran his fingers over the engraved surface. Slumped against some dark relic or another, exhaustion suddenly filled him. Should be enough time for a quick kip before his disappearing act. With a soft click, he opened the watch to check the time.

Staring at the man before her, she burst out laughing. “The Doctor? Seriously, Malfoy?” His hand still outstretched, his eyes as hard as steel he cocked an eyebrow high. “You’ve either gone entirely bonkers since your disappearance, or you are pulling my leg.”
“Oh, I’m completely bonkers, Hermione. As well as dead serious.” He smirked, pocketing his hand to remove something, and she defensively lifted her wand. “Relax, darling. I’m merely checking the time.”
