For as long as he can remember, Scott's body has always bent to his will - changing its form as he pleased. Because of this, he was whisked away by an organization whose actions he doesn't necessarily agree with.
Here, he becomes Star, a carefree and flirtatious figure known for her skill with her bow.
To the rest of the world, he's Scott Smajor, a college student. Popular. Extroverted. Calm.
But there were... certain problems within his assignment. They were sent to deal with the too-familiar corruption spreading in the area. Worse is that he had been assigned to a supervisor he had a falling out with.
And worst of all, he's never felt this understood before, which would be great if it hadn't been from a member of their rival organization, Canary.

“Mr. Goodtimes?” He called out with a high-pitched voice that crackled. Jimmy winced at the treacherous sound, and cleared his throat before trying again. “Mr. Goodtimes?! My name is Jimmy Solidarity, I need to talk to you about a certain man–”
17-year-old Jimmy Solidarity is desparately trying to find his relative who had disappeared off of the face of the Earth years ago, after rumoured to have been turned into a vampire.
Ten years in the past, 25-year-old Grian Xelqua attempts to stick to the traditional beliefs that Hermit's Pass holds after the realisation that his penpal is more supernatural than he originally thought.

Grian glances around the room. He counts. Sixteen of them. A few group together. A few stand solitary. But Grian can see the thread again, the one that connects them all. Through the frays on their clothes, the dirt on their palms, the weary grey hanging beneath their eyes.

We've lost contact with one of our teams, and their disappearance is highly unusual and we suspect something… otherworldly to be involved. We need you to follow their trail and look into the disappearances of Grian Xelqua, Impulse Essvee, Scar Goodtimes, Gem Tay, and Skizz Lehmann, otherwise known as the GIGGS team."
OR: The GIGGS team vanishes during an investigation under mysterious and disturbing circumstances. Jimmy Solidarity is brought onto a team to rescue them. They have two things to assist them: the final radio conversations, and a trail of cassette tapes left by Impulse, which document the experiences of the GIGGS team on their dark, horrifying journey as they try to survive and find help.

Owen isn't an idiot. He knows that if Scott finds out he's basically a newborn in vampire terms, he's going to take the easy meal and kill him. So, he lied-said he had been alive 200 years instead of in a state of unconciousness for 200 years. Hopefully Scott buys it.
Scott knows Owen is full of bullshit. No Sire would let a fledgling that young out of their sight at 200 years old, let alone out here. He thinks he's roughly 300, and is lying to make himself look like less of a threat.
Scott and Owen have a truce-they both stay out of each other's business and don't kill any humans. But for some reason, Owen is so, so hungry. And animal blood isn't cutting it.
Scott, on the other hand, is a little concerned at how bad at vampirism Owen is.

The Watchers control Grian when he falls asleep, Scar is living his best life as a small time villain and sometimes hero, and Mumbo, though he has yet to dip his toes into the hero/villain scene other than sharing an apartment with Grian, has more than one secret.
Scar decides it's time to introduce Poultryman, his friend/the vigilante he annoys when he's bored, to some of his other friends, and they all become involved when the watchers start kidnapping people out of the blue.

Xelqua's vision starts to flicker out. The last thing he sees is a tall, muscular man running towards him in shock.. Maybe? He wasn't sure. Xelqua's head hurts really bad and if he had a choice, he'd rather die here.
Then, before he can get another thought in, it all goes black.
AKA:
Xelqua, (Grian) gets kicked from the circle of Watchers and sent to the LIFE world. The highest vigilante around, Scar, aka HotGuy finds Grian unconscious in a random park and drags him back to his 2 bedroom apartment. Scar's roommate and best friend-for-life, Gem, is not amused but lets Grian in anyway. Xelqua tries to manoeuvre himself through this world (that he was ironically a large part in creating in) without letting his two newfound roommates his secret. Oh yeah, somehow, Scar convinced Xelqua to be his partner-in-crime.
The vigilante aspect of this story, especially the outfits for hotguy and stuff, is inspired by Doody. (@kitsuneisi on Tumblr)
