No one rushing out of the crowd to be the next capital toy, and instead they were just like all the other districts who didn’t have the advantage of an academy fool. What if for the first time in years, district two didn’t have a female career tribute. What if instead of someone crazy for the games they just got someone crazy. Someone with rage and fury not for the games but for the ones who put her there to begin with. And what if she was the most beautiful thing they’ve seen since finnick. What if she’s subjected to a fate just as bad if not worse than him.

It is time for the 75th Annual Hunger games, and the announcement for the third-ever Quarter Quell has arrived. To showcase the mercy and leniency of the Capitol, only one new tribute will be reaped to go into the games this year. To demonstrate the wisdom passed down from the Capitol to the people of Panem, one victor shall be reaped from each district to go into the games as a tribute, to share meaningful advice with their partner, allowing those children to learn and grow, just as their time in the capitol has helped them to become the successes they are today. Finally, to remind us all that we are united as one Panem, one people, each team of competitors in the games will be regarded as one entity unless separated by death, and will have partners selected randomly from the reaped individuals from other districts.
Circe Beauford, an 18-year-old girl reaped from District Seven, does not expect to survive. However, her presence in the games may just change everything. Or, a world in which Plutarch Heavensbee is not a gamemaker.
