Summary
Kannick Axel is District 2's unwilling volunteer for the 72nd Hunger Games. Nobody thinks he can win. Not himself, not his best friend Cato, not his family, and not his district partner. Not determined to prove everyone wrong, he goes forth into the Games with a plan to die in the least brutal way possible. He doesn't want his little brother to see him be massacred, after all. But what happens when sponsors take a special liking to the pretty boy from 2? That wasn't a part of his plan...
