With the royal bergen wedding in one week, Poppy sends Branch out to Rainbow Ridge to get some flowers for the soon-to-be-bride. A place that looked like it was from another world, only separated from theirs by a bottomless ravine.
It was meant to be a simple retrieval mission, but neither of them could have predicted that something would follow him back, forever changing his life.

He begins to angrily walk off before he freezes, the encounter washing over him. Oh sweet Comp what the heck had he just done. He had just blown up at his brothers and blamed them for his screw up, and worse he had told them he didn’t need them! He had left them alone, he needed to go back, to apologize, to-...
Turning around, John slowly looks back up at their pod, he could just barely make out a flash of Purple crashing out of it, followed not long after by a crazed streak of Yellow, both scampering higher up into the tree. Oh, so they stormed out together, that’s good, that they're not alone. He’s glad for once that they never follow his lead, afterall, this would be the worst time for his brothers to start taking after him.
Essentially, another John Dory came back story, where John didn't know the others left! Because I don't think he did. I don't know why I'm obsessed with this one Troll, but I am. Also, I am sprinkling in headcanons because I can, tell me yours and we can talk about it.

Summary
John Dory knew he had been gone for too long, and he regretted it. Spending time on the Neverglade Trail, by himself with the exception of Rhonda helped clear his head. Helped him remember just how much he valued his family, how much he loved them. As he made his way back to Bergen Town, back to the Troll Tree he had lived in with all his bros. Hopefully they would accept his apology. Hopefully they could all be a family again.
Viva warned Clay this would be a dangerous journey. And he did not disagree, but he had to know if Branch, Floyd and Grandma had survived. He had not made it back to their home in time on the day of the Great Escape, and while Viva was worried that all the other trolls were gone he could not believe his family was. He refused. While Clay was plenty angry about the events leading up to the BroZone breakup still, he loved his family. Floyd, Branch and Grandma had not done anything wrong. So he needed to confirm they were okay. If they made it out he would stop at nothing to find them.
But neither John Dory nor Clay knew who they were about to run into.
And neither knew the journey they were about to embark on together.
A journey that would reunite BroZone once more.
