Summary
At the height of my communion with the Eye, I looked into the inky blackness of that impossible pupil and was found wanting. It showed me all that was beauty and all that was terror. More than I could have ever dreamed of. I wanted more, clawing desperately to seize a seat within all that was. It was then that the Eye blinked.
I looked into the abyss once more. It did not stare back into me.

Summary
Jonathan Sims is a perfectly normal co-worker, thank you very much.
He does not, as much as Colin would have anyone believe, 'know things he shouldn’t', nor does he 'stare too much' or 'ask questions no one can refuse'. Quite frankly, Colin is the unstable co-worker here, and Jon would appreciate it if everyone else agreed with him.
He is most certainly not from another universe, and he most certainly didn't bleed out in his lover's arms. That's absurd.
Jonathan Sims is a perfectly normal co-worker, and the voices in the computers mean nothing to him.

Jon catches Tim having a panic attack in the bathroom. They both have a lot of very complicated feelings. Also, Tim gets a hug.

Takes place in the "Allow Me to Shed Some Darkness" AU by ASTEROlDS, where Archivist versions of all the s1 archival staff (Tim, Jon, Sasha, Martin) are transported to an alternate universe that looks much like canon s1, and none of them know that the others have all experienced being the Archivist before. Not necessary to have read that AU if you understand that premise, but I definitely recommend it! Link is in the notes.

Summary
Elias Bourchard picks Sasha James as his next Archivist, and she's doing pretty well.
But due to a lack of assistants, she's decided to have researcher Jonathan Sims help her, Martin Blackwood, and Tim Stoker in the Archives.
That wouldn't be an issue... If the Eye didn't want him as an archivist too.

Summary
This is the Start of My AU cause one night I got really bad brain rot and wanted to re-write Gertrude's statement for it. I also think it is a good starting place.
For some context in this AU Sasha and Jon are co-Archivists though they were made the Archivists at different times. This Record is being listened to Sasha pre-Eyepocalypse but still very very late in the game.
Also while this particular fic will be based more around Gertrude in this AU the AU as a whole will be more based around Jon.I am terrible at summaries. Sorry. *Finger guns and thumb ups* Yeah!

If space is a spiral, then so is time, as they both go hand in hand. Then again, The Spiral is funny in that it does not explain what is and is not a Spiral.

Summary
“Jonah Magnus.” The cloudy silhouette snarled as it’s hand clamped tightly around Jonah's ascot. That was indeed his name, but Jonah couldn’t begin to fathom what he did to have it spat out with such hatred.
But nonetheless, Jonah was a gentleman and he would kindly address the angry figure as politely as possible, “Yes, and you are?”
“What?” The form spluttered as it slowly came into focus. Ah, yes. That probably wasn’t the proper response to being held at gunpoint by a random stranger. Must have been the blow to his head.
(Or in which Jonathan Sims goes back in time and tries to pull a Terminator, but fails and Jonah Magnus finds a new mystery to solve.)

I'm with him and you're a secret treasure. He's devotion you're a guilty pleasure. I'm with him and this is real life, honey, guess the joke's no longer funny. I'm with him until the death do us part but it doesn't do for this hungry heart. I'm with him but in my frantic head you always come and say 'would you run away' -Mia Dimšić, Guilty Pleasure Eurovision 2022
Or:
"Perhaps it was because Martin had been bouncing from dead end job to dead end job with his fake CV. Perhaps it was because he was hiding in the corner of the bookstore so he wouldn’t have to go home to his mother. Perhaps it was because of his mother. All Martin knew was he was twenty two, directionless, and so lonely it made his teeth ache.
His teeth no longer ached from the loneliness anymore. In fact, Loneliness embraced him like an old friend instead."

Summary
Martin was perfectly content in his normal, boring life.
And then Jon came along, dragging him into a world where folktales have become real and telling if someone is really human is a little more difficult.
Avatars, monsters, and the Entities they serve are considered little more than stories, but don’t all stories have at least a little grain of truth in them? -
