It tears himself up from the ground, and you think that it's body is shaking. That makes sense.
This has happened before. This happened when you happened.
Or: Michael lives. Not the Distortion. Not Shelley.

Summary
'As Jon realised he wouldn’t be getting answers, and worried his ruckus will cause other employees to come up to the office, Jon decided to just open the door.
What he found was most peculiar. Elias was sleeping soundly on his desk, using some coffee stained documents as a pillow.'
Elias literally worries himself sick.

Gerard Keay had dealt with the Distortion before, with its twisted words and headache-inducing laugh. It had always let him out of the Spiral after toying with him for a while.
Until it seems to take a new kind of interest in him.

Summary
Jon’s skin did not feel like his skin.
It hadn’t for some time. A month or more (he couldn’t tell; the storeroom had had no windows, and without a day/night cycle he’d lost track of things quickly) in a refrigerated warehouse with only the thin tee shirt he’d been wearing when they took him had left him feeling cold and numb, as inert as all the silent waxworks that had watched him for the length of his captivity.
He’d grown so used to the cold he hardly felt it until it was gone. It was only when Helen Richardson (if it was still Helen Richardson – her predecessor certainly hadn’t been Michael Shelley, anymore) had deposited him on the floor of his office that he realized how desperately cold he’d been for weeks.
He went to hug himself – from cold, from fear, from a general and overwhelming unhappiness – but found that he recoiled at his own touch. He couldn’t recognize himself in any part of the interaction. His fingers brushed the skin of his arm and felt only the inhuman chill of wax, and his arm received the touch of his hand and felt only the dead press of plastic.

Summary
The door Jon was brought to when he was young didn't belong to Mr. Spider, it belonged to the Distortion. No one escapes the Spiral, not truly. And when the Eye was at its weakest, the Spiral finally had a way to sink its teeth back into its prey.

Summary
If she blinked, she feared that the world would go away. So she stared at the sun as it hung high in the sky, alone in the blue that reached only to meet even bluer waters. The waves glared its golden light, and her vision spotted black and red and green, but she watched, careful to not blink. If she blinks, the sun might blink too, and then it will be gone, forever, with only the ghost of a memory.

Summary
The characters who become monsters – or avatars – in The Magnus Archives also become something else: traumatised. The Magnus Archives, a horror fiction podcast written by Jonathan “Jonny” Sims tackles nuanced topics such as personality change and addiction due to trauma, as well as the perpetuation of the cycle of violence, through the lens of becoming an avatar.

Summary
Jon was trying to leave. He didn’t know where he would go, but soon enough the choice was taken from him.
Breekon & Hope stole him. Jon didn’t know why he was chosen, but he soon wished they had gone with the first idea and killed him. He would’ve preferred that to what he was actually used for - Orsinov was perfectly happy being the mother of the Hope in Breekon & Hope - as in, what would for a normal company be “& Sons”. No, Jon was kept blindfolded and naked, in an abandoned museum that had once had many taxidermy exhibits. Nikola was eager - she was keeping him hostage and sent a ransom tape to Elias.
“He’s tied to a chair – Sarah wanted to use nails, but I talked her out of it because I’m a good friend. You’re welcome. And he is absolutely surrounded with waxworks. Not… good waxworks, though. Weird ones. Wax faces where you feel like you almost recognise who it’s meant to be, but, then instead… ah, it’s downright uncanny!”

Summary
In another life, maybe Jon escaped. Maybe his friends came for him. Maybe another Avatar decided to “rescue” him for their own purposes. Maybe the Web had other plans for him. Maybe in another life none of this ever happened at all. But in this world Jon Sims died screaming, bleeding out as he was skinned alive, his last thought a ragged and disjointed “make it stop”.
An AU of the Unknowing, Where Jon didn't escape and Nikola went forward with her plan.

Summary
Martin knew that he couldn’t trust what came from behind the door - the entire purpose of the corridors seemed to be to make him doubt his senses - but when the figure stumbled over the threshold, blinking in the dim light of Martin’s living room as though uncertain where he was, Martin ignored all of his nagging doubts and rushed to his side.
“Martin?” Jon blinked at him, his eyes still clearly adjusting from the kaleidoscopic brightness of the hallway he’d just left.
“It’s me, I’m here, I’m real,” he said, and hoped that Jon believed him. He remembered when he and Tim had finally left that place, how hard it was at first to trust what he saw and heard. Jon gripped the front of Martin’s shirt as though trying to get independent confirmation that he was, in fact, real. “How long were you in those corridors?”
Jon shook his head. “Not long. Just long enough to get here. S-she said she’d take me someplace safe.”
Martin wasn’t sure who ‘she’ was, or what Jon was running from, but he tightened his grip on Jon’s shoulders and whispered fiercely, “She did. She did; you’re safe here.”
What if Helen's door had taken Jon to Martin's apartment at the end of MAG 101?
