He lets the moment stretch for a moment: Jiang Cheng’s chin still shining in the half-light of the office, wet where he’d buried it in Huaisang’s cunt. Embarrassment plays across Jiang Cheng’s cheekbones, the twist of his mouth, like the eddy of a street watched from above: one way, then the other. He frowns, then shudders, then sees the glint of light on steel. It’s curious the way he softens.
“There you are,” Huaisang murmurs. This is the closest thing to fondness he can muster: Jiang Cheng beneath him, dirty and dripping at the mouth, wanting to be good for Huaisang. That half-fond sensation swells in his chest, then quashes itself, then swells again. Huaisang leans forward, aching at the ribs, and presses his lips open-mouthed to the top of Jiang Cheng’s head, breathes against him for a moment, uses both hands to unhook the hairpiece from the fulcrum of him. Undoes him.
