“In the weeks since the fight in (and the rebuilding of) the Tombs of the Star Corridor, things had finally calmed down enough for everyone to adjust to their new routines; the biggest change being that Riko hadn’t been attending Renchoku Girl’s High School. In what was supposed to be a temporary solution, Riko was moved into the dorms of Jujutsu High along with Kuroi, who had remained the girl’s caretaker. But as time passed, it was clear that things wouldn’t go back to normal for Riko that easily.”
