Chapter Text
It was another long day at school as usual, Kris knocked out on top of their desk and Susie was kicked back in her chair, mindlessly glancing around the room, trying to find some way to cure her boredom. The common solutions weren’t working anymore, throwing paper balls at Berdly, kicking the back of Kris’ chair in, random doodles in her noteless filled notebook.
Finally, the bell rang, releasing Susie from the confines of her desk. Standing up, she twisted her back a little, popping the small kinks in her spine before waltzing over to Kris’ desk, its occupant still passed out on top.
Susie tapped Kris lightly, trying to wake them up.
“Yo, Kris. Kris c’mon.” Tugging at their shirt, Kris barely stirred, groaning lightly before turning in their sleep. Sighing, Susie grabbed Kris by the body, lifting them up and slinging them over her shoulder like a bookbag. Kris finally decided to wake up.
“Why are you carrying me?”
“ ‘Cause you didn’t wanna wake up.”
“I am now, you mind putting me down?”
“Mmmm… No.”
Chuckling lightly, Kris relaxed, falling back asleep on Susie’s shoulder as she walked them out the building, both bookbags held firm in her other hand’s grip. It was a short walk, with the exception of a few weird glances from people seeing Susie with an unconscious Kris slung atop her shoulder.
Reaching the lake, Susie chucked Kris off her shoulder and onto the floor. Landing with a small thud, Kris awoke again, dusting their pants off and standing up.
“You’re welcome, sleeping beauty.” Susie quipped, grinning as she threw their backpacks off to the side. Walking up to the small sandbank of the lake, she fished around on the ground for a suitable rock. Finding one, she cranked her arm back, launching the rock out into the water, skipping it to minimal success.
Kris covered their mouth, suppressing a laugh as Susie’s face turned bitter, searching for another rock.
“Yeah, keep laughing asshole. How about you try it?” She responded, underhanding the rock over to Kris. They caught it and immediately slung it forward, skipping it multiple times across the lake’s surface. This made their muffled laugh grow even louder.
“Ugh, nobody likes a showoff!” Susie said, trying to sound annoyed, but she was grinning shyly. She couldn’t really help it, anything the small human did made her either laugh or smile. If you went back in time a few weeks and told Susie the same human she’d been relentlessly bullying would become her best friend, she would’ve probably punched you and called you a freak.
Now? She couldn’t help but spend her time with Kris everyday. It wasn’t like she had anything better to do, but she had a feeling that if she did, she’d want to spend her time with Kris anyways.
Everything about them threw her for a loop, twisting every mental image she had about herself on its head. She thought she was tough, and stoic? Kris brought out her smile, and her laugh. She thought she was weak, and not worthy of being in this prophecy? Kris showed her how much she mattered to their team.
Susie thought she was unlovable, and incapable of ever having a friend? Kris stuck by her side, even after everything she’d done to them. It still hung over her head everyday, even after all the times she’d already brought it up to them and they dismissed any rumor of them disliking her, her own thoughts and doubts never let her relax.
Following Kris, she plopped down on the floor, looking out at the lake. Turning her head, she watched as they leaned back, calmly observing nature’s calls. The singing birds, the calm splashes of the water, the cool breeze of the wind that pushed their hair back to reveal their crimson eyes.
How did they manage to be so… calm. All the time, it looked like nothing ever bothered them in the slightest. Kris was the person Susie always wanted to be. A good family, friends, nothing bothering them. It made her envious, and that's why she’d bully them.
Now that they were friends, she noticed her demeanor changed. She stopped wanting to be them, and wanted to be with them. All the time, she was happier when they were around. Wasn’t this the baseline definition of… well, love?
How could she ever bring it up? Sure, Kris was seemingly contemptuous with being her friend after what she’d done, but they would never accept a love offering!
Kris pulled their backpack from the side, zipping open a pocket. They shuffled around various items in their bag before producing two candy bars. Holding one in their right hand, they held the other in their left and offered it to Susie.
She blushed lightly, grinning and thanking them. But as she reached to grab it, Kris flicked their wrist back, pulling it out of her grasp. Susie’s eyes narrowed, she knew where this was going.
Lunging a little more quickly, she just barely touched the wrapper before Kris swerved out of the way, standing to their feet at the same time. They had a shit-eating grin plastered over their face, almost egging her on.
Standing up, she dusted her jeans off and curled her fists. Raising one, she pointed it at Kris.
“Don’t think I won’t get that from you, try me Kris.”
“I think this is me trying you, Susie. Come get some.” Kris said, fully laughing now.
Dashing forward, her talon barely swiped the bar, giving it a gash before Kris side-stepped her, running backwards and into the treeline. Booking it after them, Susie entered the brush, just a few feet behind them.
Slowly gaining, she used a small stump to propel herself forward, tacking Kris. Wrapped against them, they fell to the ground as well. They both grunted as they rolled across the floor like a freshly cut log, tumbling across the forest floor.
They hit a tree, stopping their momentum. Susie was atop of Kris, now pinning their shoulders down and straddling their waist. Kris, too stunned to realize, had left the bars vulnerable, holding them in front of their chest.
Susie leaned down, chomping down on Kris’ hand holding her bar. Gulping it back, she ate the bar in one bite, wrapper in all. Grinning, she had won the small tussle, but her grin faded, tasting an odd metal flavor in her mouth.
Looking down, Kris’ hand had a few small puncture marks dotted around their hand, obviously from her teeth. All the small marks slowly started to leak blood. Looking at Kris’ expression, their face was flush with embarrassment. But it wasn’t just embarrassment… they had been lightly biting their bottom lip and their eyes…
Susie’s eyes grew wide, realizing how it looked for her to be straddling Kris, pinning them down to the floor. Gasping, she quickly stood up, wiping her mouth off on her sleeve. Kris snapped out of their thought-filled daze and also stood up, their face a deep shade of red.
Walking up to Kris, she grabbed their injured hand, bringing it up to her face and inspecting it.
“Shit dude… I didn’t— I wasn’t— I was just trying to play around!”
Looking up at Kris’ face, their eyes were lidded a little bit, and their mouth was twisted in contemplation. To Susie, it looked like they were mad. Kris’ other hand twitched, and they dropped the remaining bar to the ground. Before Susie could react, Kris’ hands lightly cupped her cheeks as they…
What the fuck?!
It was the only words running through Susie’s mind as Kris pulled her in for a kiss, their lips mashing awkwardly together. It was clumsy, and inexperienced, but Susie couldn’t help but relish in the feeling of Kris’ lips as they needily mashed against hers, chasing their hidden feelings.
Breaking off from the kiss, Kris’s face was stoic, but their eyes were filled with pure bliss. Susie must’ve been making a very concerning look, as Kris’ eyes quickly turned to fear. Before Susie could say anything, Kris was dashing back out of the forest, running as quickly as they could.
Susie, still in shock, tripped over her own feet, shooting her chances at catching them. By the time she left the brush and back out onto the dirt path, Kris was nowhere to be seen. Taking in a few shaky breaths, Susie tried to settle her racing mind, and heartbeat.
Kris just… kissed me? After I hurt them? What is going on?! Do they feel the same way I do, or did they just do that for me? Wait, they don’t know how I feel, why would they do it for me! WAIT, do they know how I feel about them? Oh my god… what do I do.
Susie went and sat at the nearby picnic table, holding her head in her hands.
It had been a couple hours since what happened. Kris forgo grabbing their bag before leaving hastily, so Susie now had to deliver it back to them. In the few hours between then and now, it was filled with questions with unending answers, and multiple texts that never ended up being sent.
Swallowing her fears and dignity, Susie was now standing in front of Kris’ house, her backpack slung over her shoulder and Kris’ handing from her grip. She knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer.
It didn’t seem like Toriel was home, her car was missing and she was most likely still at the school. After a couple of minutes of no answer, Susie tried the doorknob. It was unlocked, and she, reluctantly, invited herself in.
She dropped her own bag at the door, shutting it behind her. As she walked towards the stairs, she glanced around, looking at various things around the house. The bathroom door was ajar, and peering inside for a moment, the medicine cabinet was open, a first aid box sitting open on the sink.
A twinge of guilt shot through her heart as she made her way up the stairs. Getting to their door, she knocked softly on the door.
“Kris? You there dude? It’s Susie.”
There was no response except for the quiet shuffling of bedsheets. Opening the door, Kris was laying on their bed, bandaged hand sitting in front of them as they looked at it. Looking up from their hand, they must’ve not heard Susie knock or talk as they yipped in surprise.
“S-Susie? What are you doing here?”
“I mean, you ran off without your bag…”
Kris nodded, their body still rigid and stiff. It looked like Kris was ready to run away again, but with Susie still in the doorway, unless they wanted to break their legs jumping out the window, they had nowhere to go.
“T-Thanks…” They responded, walking over and taking the bag from Susie. They turned around and placed it on the floor. Susie watched Kris with their back turned. They were blankly staring down at their bag.
Kris’ body started to shake a little as their hand rubbed their arm up and down, nervously. Susie walked up slowly to Kris and lightly placed a hand on their shoulder. Immediately, like a bomb being set off, Kris twisted their body and pushed Susie’s hand off.
“S-Susie, you shouldn’t be friends with me.”
“W-What? Why?”
“I… I’m a freak! Everyday I sit next to you acting like I’m not! I don’t understand why but I just can’t quit thinking about you for more than a couple seconds at a time. I shouldn’t have kissed you like that, I just… it got to me and I couldn’t help it.”
Susie’s jaw hung open limply, trying to figure out just how serious Kris was being. The expression on their face told Susie exactly how serious they were.
“I mean, you bit me right? On accident, I know, but someone should be mad about that, right? All I could think about is how I wanted you to do it again. I’m—” Kris’ voice caught in their throat, they were struggling to speak at this point, small tears welling up in their eyes.
“I think I love you, man…” They finally choked out.
Susie didn’t know what to say. She stared blankly at Kris, trying to figure out what to say. They *love* me? Susie’s mind couldn’t stop pacing with thoughts, but she realized the tension and urgency in the room. She had to say something.
“Y-You want me to do it again?”
SUSIE?! You could’ve said anything else?! After mentally slapping herself across the face for her stupidity, her body decided to react on its own accord, also acting stupidly.
Without thinking, she leaned forward and pressed her face up against Kris’. She was horribly inexperienced, Kris being her first kiss just a few hours ago, and she barely participated in it. However, she was determined to make this one decent, at least.
Her hands grabbed at Kris’ arms, trying to find any place to put them. Kris gasped into the kiss, but quickly closed their eyes and fell deep into it. Their lips fumbled around, trying to map out each other's features. Kris bit at Susie’s bottom lip as they pulled apart, causing it to make a small noise as it snapped back against Susie’s face.
They both stared wide-eyed at each other, processing what just happened.
“S-Susie?”
“Y-Yeah…”
“Did you just say… you want me to do it again?”
Susie took a deep breath, ready to try and defend herself, but being honest with herself, she knew exactly what she was saying. “Yeah…”
Before she knew it, this small, scrawny human had somehow manhandled her onto their bed, Kris on top of her, pinning her head between their hands. She gulped nervously, waiting for Kris to say something.
“P-Please… please do it again…”
F-Fuck. The way Kris had said it sent Susie reeling, swallowing the growing, twisting feeling in her lower body.
“W-Where?” Susie whispered out. She saw a wave of euphoria across Kris’ as the muscles in their face relaxed.
“Anywhere… please, just mark me.”
Susie bit her lip, hard. Just a few minutes ago, she was questioning every feeling she’d ever had about Kris. Now? They were practically begging Susie to bite them? Mark them? It should’ve made her grossed out, but her body was salivating at the thought of it.
Parting her lips, she breathed in shakily as her jaw opened just a little. Taking one of Kris’ hands, which was still planted next to her head, she carefully brought it close to her mouth. She put it in her jaw and clamped down, albeit softly.
Kris whimpered from the feeling, and Susie was about to stop when she heard Kris’ voice.
“Harder… please.”
They sounded so hushed, so vulnerable, needy, desperate. It made Susie’s stomach flutter in ways she couldn’t describe. She bit down harder, and Kris stifled a mixed noise, between a yelp of pain and… a moan?
That familiar taste of blood trickled against her lips and tongue as she looked at Kris, dumbfounded. They looked embarrassed, but they continued to make small, muffled whines. Taking Kris’ hand out of her mouth, there was a new set of small markings, only about the size of pencil dots, leaking out miniscule amounts of blood.
“Again… somewhere else… please…”
Before Susie could, she caught a glimpse of something in her eye. Looking down at their legs, she saw the protrusion of a tent in Kris’ pants. Kris noticed her surprise and their face instantly became plastered with shame.
“Fuck… I’m sorry, I just—”
“S-Shut up…”
“... okay.”
Susie didn’t know what she was doing, all she knew is Kris was her best friend, and best friends make each other feel good, right? And what was better than… well… this?
Shuffling around on the bed, Susie ended up with her back against the wall and Kris in her lap, their back pressed up against her flat chest. They were shivering, their quiet shaky breaths sending Susie’s mind wild.
Susie bent her head down, biting on Kris’ shoulder. They gasped loudly, their mouth opening, but not producing any noise. Susie’s hands worked blindly, trying to fumble with Kris’ pants. After a moment, she felt Kris’ hands join her, helping her shuffle their pants down to their ankles.
She chuckled deeply through her jaw-ful of Kris’ shoulder. They want this so badly, huh?
With their clothes finally down at their ankles, Susie allowed herself to look. She’d only ever seen them in videos, but seeing Kris’ erect cock, twitching with each subtle breath she took, it made her giddy.
Tracing one of her hands up Kris’ front, she felt around the front of their chest, feeling their stomach and pecs. Taking one of her talons, she pressed it a little into Kris’ chest, drawing a long line across their chest.
Kris’ breaths stuttered, growing broken as her other and moved downwards, wrapping tentatively around Kris’ cock. As Susie started to move her hand up and down, Kris’ soft breaths turned into quiet whimpers.
She watched in awe as a small bead of pre-cum leaked out of Kris’ tip. She kissed their neck, leaving small bites and tears at their skin as she worked her way around. Her fist pumped harder as her lengthy talons drew red lines across Kris’ chest.
Kris’ moans grew louder and more raw as their hips started to buck, trying to follow Susie’s motions. Susie could feel herself grow wetter at the scene in front of her. Never in a million years would she guess she’d be doing this with Kris, but she couldn’t help but be happy she was. She didn’t know this is what she wanted this whole time, but now that it was happening, she only wanted more.
Kris’ moans grew shorter, and higher in pitch. She took this as a clue they were close, and she started to pump her fist even harder. As her claws dug deeper into Kris’ flesh, her kisses grew deeper and more greedy. Kris turned their head, covering their face in Susie’s shoulder as one of their hands reached back, gripping onto Susie’s head for support.
They whimpered like a hurt dog as their moans became incessant. Finally, they pushed their hips as far up into Susie’s hand as they could, moaning out her name unabashedly.
“Fu— nhn- Susie, fuck…”
Kris unfurled, coming all over Susie’s hand and their bedspread, staining the sheets and their clothes, still around their ankles. Their small gasps of air echoed through the room as the last few ropes of cum leaked out, dribbling all over Susie’s hand.
Kris could feel the trickling of blood down their chest, and as Susie pulled her hand out of their sweater, they saw the tip of her talons dripping in blood.
They sat in silence, taking in both the scene in front of them, and trying to understand what really just happened. It was so quick, neither member of the party had time to process everything until now.
Quietly, Susie whispered into Kris’ ear.
“I forgot to say… I love you too, freak.”
Kris looked at their exposed body in the mirror, examining their chest and arms, tattered with bite and claw marks.
It was getting harder and harder to tell which ones were caused by them long ago, and which ones were caused by Susie, in their newfound bouts of love.
Kris couldn’t smile harder.
