Chapter Text
The sound of dribble basketball, the loud cheering from the spectators, the despair of losing and the thrill of winning. All of them mixed inside the stadium nulling any other sounds that should have had been heared. Hidden in the shadow is a boy close to tears. Perhaps he made a sobbing sound but it seems like no one noticed nor listened. As if his presence is fully concealed.
But nothing goes pass the Emperor's eye. Akashi Seijuro, the Captain of the Rakuzan Team, the ex-captain of Teiko's Generation of Miracles and the bane of the boy's existance. The red headed man chuckles in victory upon seeing Kuroko Tetsuya, the pitiful child. Heart so big and soul so bright, to be trempled all over by his so called friends.
Kuroko was so close yet so far to achieve victory in the name of teamwork.. in the name of friendship. For the Emperor held dominance in the court, completely and utterly made Seirin's team full on despair. They were fighting against the blood thirsted heterochromatic captain afterall.
A fool for trying to fight against the Emperor in the field.. but Kuroko is a child with hope- with dreams that are so precious and pure. The scale is just too big for Kuroko's team to climb.
Yes, Kuroko was doing everything in his power for their own sake. But it looks like everything is for nothing..
..
No..
It can't be like that.
There has to be a way.
Believe in yourself and believe in everyone who supports you.
Your team needs you... I need you.
A sudden resolve, brought him back to reality. He blinks in surprised, having to almost spiralled into depression. But that's strange.. The sound that he heared was not his but more of a- "Mew".
Kuroko blinked and his eyes gaze up from his shadowed bangs. A black cat is sitting in front of him, looking at him expectantly.
How.. in the world that a cat was able to enter the stadium, let alone nobody noticed of its presence here. He thought silently to himself yet made no move to approach the feline. Kuroko however did stare at its eyes and while he is in thoughts, it finally clicked.
That this.. is not how the scene goes.
He shouldn't have almost spiralled into depression, he should be on a time out and sit on the bench to think of a new ways to turn the tide in their favour. After all, its the final basketball match that determines their friendship's fate.
That's right. This is not the reality that Kuroko had experienced-
The one where he won together with Kagami and the rest of the Seirin's team-
The one he had managed to save his Generation of Miracles' ex-teammates.
"No.. this is wrong."
A sudden ringging sound echoes throughout the stadium, vibrating loudly and so eerie that everything else goes silent. Everyone stops on their track with their hands blocking their ears in a feeble attempt to block the sound. The spectators looking around in distress whilst the players are all being ushered out of the court.
Something is happening outside the stadium.
"KUROKO!!"
Yelled Kagami, his new current light,
"Don't just stand there in a daze, hurry we have to leave now!" He grabs the blue haired boy's arm and let himself being pulled by the taller red headed man.
But by the time he came to his senses and his feet starting to move in sync to Kagami's running direction, he look back to see only an empty space.
'..Where did the cat go?'

As the two ran, they soon catch up to the rest of the team who are with the Rakuzan. They did afterall came from the same direction of the court. Noticing the red headed and blue headed duo, Seirin's breathe a sigh of relieved. At least now they are together. But its too early to celebrate because the building has started to crumble and the court's ceiling begins to fall.
"Hurry! We have to leave now or we'll be trapped inside!" Yelled Kiyoshi Teppei, momentarily halting everyone's shock of the current situation. But not for Kuroko. Because in the midst of the fray, the ringing sound still echoes loudly inside his brain and only his feet move thanks to Kagami's insistent of pulling him along.
Soon the small group has reached the exit, but what welcomes them was nothing to be glad about. Outside is far.. much more worse. The sky has turned dark with only the moon shines it's light and a mysterious door appears in the sky. Multiples countless of doors ranging from different various ominious colors and by the looks of it.. something is trying to come out.
"What in the world.." muttered Reo Mibuchi from the Rakuzan's side, speaking out loud everyone's thoughts. As if on cue, the bulding nearby starts to collapse one by one. Thankfully, most recognizable spectators seems to come out unscathed,
"Kuroko-cchi, Akashi-cchi!!" Yelled Kise Ryouta. The blond hair man came running towards both Seirin and Rakuzan's team and in tow was Yukio Kasamatsu alongside Aomine Daiki and Momoi Satsuki.
"Are you guys alright?!" Called out by the pink hair girl in worried, "Midorima-kun and Atsushi-kun's team are helping the rest of the people out from the stadium.. it was awful so many people got trapped inside and there's blood everywhere..!!" At that the girl starts to cry. Nobody is trying to console the girl because even they are still processing of what had just happened.
The one who has his footings though is the one and only Rakuzan's captain, Akashi Seijuro. He looks quite calm and collected despite the chaos that surrounds him. His gaze stays focus on the floating door before he took out his phone and dialed up some numbers.
"How strange, the signal is missing." Informed the smaller red hair men. This alerts everyone else who proceed to check their own phones.. worried for their own families. If such thing are happening here what about the rest of the world?!

"Have you heared of the Monkey Theorem?" Questioned the Witch of Miracle. Inside the realm in which only she resides in, she took a step nearer to the screen that projects the entire scene.
There was no one to answer her back.
"If a monkey keeps on randomly hitting the typewriter for an infinite of times.. someday, by coincidence, it may form a text that is exactly the same as Hamlet." She chuckles softly, hands touching the screen gently before she scratch at it downward like a cat, leaving behind a torn like nail mark.
"More like an absurdity." A woman voice rang back as if to answer her. Unwelcomely, judging by the darkened expression of the witch. But the witch never cast the newcomer a single glance. Her gaze is still stuck to the screen that are projecting the events which are currently happening to Kuroko Tetsuya- her new game piece.
"For that to happen, it would definitelly be astronomically low for it would take an infinite amount of time.." the woman voice continues, revealing herself nearer to the witch.
A platinum blond hair woman, stood proud and unbothered by the lack of response from the witch. She walks up to one of the seats- a throne that are unoccupied, adorned with snowflake-like decorations.. perfect for The Majesty, Queen Elsa.
"That'd be an awful hell." She ended her sentence without taking a seat. For there is a warning crawling behind her neck. If she were to take another step and dares to sit on the Demon Lord's throne, the witch's scythe will pierce her neck and end her right there and then. The queen sighed and turn around, facing the deadly weapon. Although Bernkastel is still facing towards the screen, a single wrong move would definitelly snap the already irritated witch.
"If you must know, I was invited by Shu-"
A quick glare from the witch.
The Queen almost rolls her eyes by the absurdity of being unwelcome when she, in fact, was personally invited by the Demon Lord himself. But she was a traitor in Bernkastel's book afterall. What both once was a game piece saved by the same Aeon.. The Queen Elsa as righteous as she was, would definitelly ended up siding with the Sun Usurper.
But what's strange is that the Demon Lord too still treats her as his beloved subjects. Even go as far as to invite The Queen to their personal game room. Even if she respects the Demon Lord's wishes, It still leaves a bad taste in Bern's mouth.
"I'm here to be the other umpire." The Queen declares. "Though I do not know why you want to start a game alone, there must be a reason for it. It's a given that I won't be going around blabbing about it either." Her hands sway upwards and a snow throne structured right behind her. "Its better in the long run afterall." She ended while taking her seats gracefully.
The scythe disappates to a black smoke as The Witch grumbles, for what The Queen said was true.. to some point. Playing a game for them upper entity is like playing with the universe. Countless of universe exist.. and to make one into a grand entertainment would invite unwanted attention from some other upper entity. Especially the Sun's followers.. those goodie two shoes.
"So this is the new game piece you found.. Quite a normal human being, don't you think." A statement from The Queen but The Witch reply nothing in return.

'The cat..' Kuroko noticed something. The cat.. he needs to find it. Fast. Not a second can be wasted.. for the door will soon open up. He pushed away from Kagami's grip and his back hit Kise who is standing right behind him.
"Kuroko-cchi?"
Called out Kise in worry but the blue teal hair man ignores him and starts to walk away muttering inaudible words.
"Wait, Tetsu." Aomine reaches out before he walked further but with a slight tug around and his face visible, Kuroko's eyes.. they glow. Bright blue shining so brilliantly..
Aomine flinched away while the rest casts a worried glance, but all questions are held aside as the door starts to nudge open.. its coming.
A creaking sound and a roar erupted from the doors, alerting everyone on the vicinity.
"Whatever happens.. please, survive." Mutters Kuroko, voice full of pain and dread.
The sudden revelation from the quiet blue haired made everyone freeze on the spot, "What are you saying..?!" Mutters Hyuga Junpei in confusion, Yet Kuroko was not there to answer back. He had disappear. And what follows are beautiful winged creatures that may be mistaken as angels if not for their unhumanoid shape. It looks like beasts that are smashed together to form an unholy image.
It roars and everything turns to chaos.

Somewhere in a different realm..
In a far, far away universe guarded by the Moon Usurper..
An Aeon casts a glance.
