Chapter Text

ONE.

“WHO DARES TO DISRUPT ME?” A gigantic demonic looking creature spoke as it turned to face someone that appeared to look ‘human’, standing in front of the beast with a huge smile on his face. “Funny, it didn’t look like you were busy to me..” Dante said with a smirk while reaching into his gun holster to grab his gun.

The beast clenched it’s fists and roared loudly, so loudly it echoed throughout the underground world that Dante had found himself in— but of course— he wouldn’t be the only one in that underground world.

”Aha!” Dante cheered. “Now, we’re talkin!” He added as he aimed his gun towards the giant monster ahead of him. He hasn’t fought in ages since he’s been in the ‘human’ world, and now that he has finally stumbled upon an underground world, he could fight as much as he wanted to….and he couldn’t have it any other way…. 

Dante then pulled the trigger to his gun— only for it to repeal off of the monster, almost as if it had been stricken with something.

“h-huh?!” Dante stuttered as his eyes widened in shock from his bullet completely ignoring the beast in front of him. That’s when he saw him.

“Surely, you wouldn’t want to have all the fun, huh, Dante?” A familiar voice spoke as he held his long katana in his hand. Dante squinted his eyes towards the man to then furrow his eyebrows. “Virgil….” He spoke.

”Lovely, to meet you too, Dante” Virgil mumbled.

Dante sighed and shook his head. God, did he wish Virgil wasn’t in the same world as he was right now, but he couldn’t help but to wonder where the hell V was in this world as well….

While the two brothers were occupied with their introductions towards one another, V was busy exploring the weird underground world they were in. He couldn’t help but to explore with his ‘pet’ crow, along with his leopard. While he continued to explore he stubbles upon a cave, a huge cave at that.

-but, He couldn’t help but to hear a small whimpering noise from deep within the cave.

‘Is that a creature that needs to be spared from its suffering?’ V thought in his head as he continued to cautiously walk towards the sound. He peaked alongside a weirdly shaped wall that had weird markings and patters to see….

“Uhhh…” the…crow…started as it continued to fly in the air next to V. “V?—…V? Is that a—…” it continued as its wings echoed in the empty cave they stumbled upon.

“…is that a fucking kid?!” It finished as V started to examine the kid. V couldn’t believe his eyes… 

It was, indeed, a child within the cave.

From what V could tell, the kid had white platinum hair. Upon examining— the kid then turned his head to look towards V. He was sniffling and his eyes were watering. V glanced at the crow. “W-what do we do?” He asked, worriedly.

”H-Hey, Hey! Don’t look at me!— I have no fucking clue!?”

Chapter Text

1.

"谁敢来打扰我？" 一个巨大的恶魔般的生物说话了，转身面对一个'人类'模样的人，他站在野兽面前，脸上带着巨大的微笑。" 有趣的是，在我看来，你似乎并不太忙，......" 但丁笑着说，同时把手伸进枪套，拿起了他的枪。
那只野兽握紧拳头，大声咆哮，声音大到足以在但丁发现自己身处的冥界中回响，当然，他不会是那个冥界中唯一的人。
"啊哈！"但丁欢呼起来。" 现在，我们正在谈论！" 他补充说，用枪指着他面前的巨大怪物。他已经很久没有在'人类'世界里战斗了，现在他终于偶然发现了一个冥界，在那里他可以尽情地战斗，.... ，他不能有任何其他的方式 .....
但丁随后扣动了他的枪的扳机--只见它从怪物身上废掉了，几乎是被什么东西击中了。
"嗯？". 但丁结结巴巴地说，他的眼睛因为子弹完全无视他面前的怪物而震惊地睁大了。这时他看到了他。
"你当然不会想把所有的乐趣都据为己有，嗯，但丁？" 一个熟悉的声音说话了，手里拿着一把长长的卡塔纳。但丁眯着眼睛看着这个人，然后皱起了眉头。" 维吉尔...." 他说。
"也很高兴见到你，但丁。" 维吉尔喃喃地说。
但丁叹了口气，摇了摇头。天啊，他希望维吉尔现在不和他在同一个世界，但他忍不住想知道V到底在哪里.....。
 
 
当两兄弟忙着互相介绍时，V正忙着探索他们所在的这个奇怪的地下世界。他忍不住和他的 "宠物 "乌鸦，以及他的黑豹一起探索。当他继续探索时，他发现了一个山洞，一个巨大的山洞。
-但是，他忍不住听到洞内深处传来呜咽的声音。
那是一种需要免于痛苦的生物吗？V在脑子里想，他继续小心翼翼地走向那声音。他把头探进一个形状怪异的墙壁，上面有奇怪的标记和图案，看到....

"呃...... "...... 乌鸦...... 它开始了，它继续在空中围绕着V "飞翔。V? 那是...... "它继续说，因为它的翅膀在他们偶然发现的空洞中回响。
"...... 那是一个该死的孩子吗？" 它说完，V开始检查这个孩子。V简直不敢相信自己的眼睛........。
这的确是一个孩子，在一个山洞里。
从V所看到的，这个孩子有白色的铂金头发。当他检查时，孩子转过头来看着V。他在抽泣，眼睛在流泪。V瞥了一眼乌鸦。"我们--我们该怎么办？" 他担心地问道。
"嘿--嘿，嘿! 别看我! --我他妈的都不知道！？"

TWO.

“Hmph” V chuckled as he revealed his position to the child a few ish feet ahead of them.

”It seems as if a lost, wondering soul is in need of….” He continued as he walked closer and closer towards the kid. “…healing…” he whispered with an evil smirk as he tightened his palm around his cane. His demonic crow let out a surprising sound after hearing his Owner speak.

”W-What?!” Griffon squawked. “V! V!… C-Come on now, buddy!—“ Griffon said he flapped his wings, desperately trying to get in V’s way to protect the kid. “There’s n-no need to kill the kid! H-He’s a kid!” Griffon continued. Even Shadow whimpered in fear. Griffon and V, plus their pet Leopard, Shadow, has seen a lot of demons in their time they shared together, so they shouldn’t be scared of a lost child, but they were terrified of what V was capable of.

The child sniffled as he wiped his tears away with one of his hands, but he shielded away the other and simply tucked it close to his chest. It looked as if his arm was wounded. V smiled evilly as he raised his hand to order Griffon to do the honors into taking the child’s soul.

“Time for you-…” V started as he smirked. “…to be….free…lost child…” V finished as he had a crazy look in his eye while turning his hand to have Griffon most likely execute the child until Shadow growled, until he paused to see V get thrown across the floor. 

Griffon and Shadow turned towards the kid to see the kid extend his arm that shined a ……..transparent blue? “HOLY SHIT!” Griffon squawked as he flapped away from the kid who was now standing up and walking slowly towards V who was still on the floor, coughing from the impact.

”Well…well…well…” V mumbled as he struggled to sit up by using his cane. He clung onto his cane as he sat up from the gravely textured floor to be met face to face with the kid. “Seems to me you are capable of defending yourself…” V said with a slight smile. He then extended his hand to shake the kids hand. “V…” V said as he introduced himself. The kid hesitated at first but then he extended his slightly wounded arm that was glowing somewhat blue and shook V’s hand. “Nero.” The kid said, slightly scrunching just face to only change his expression back to seriousness to avoid looking vulnerable to V. It seemed he wished to be strong even in his condition, to which V admired.

”So…” Griffon started. “W-What do we do with him?” He asked. V shrugged. “We shall bring him back towards the surface…” He continued as he got up to stand on his feet by using his cane. He coughed into his closed fist then used his cane to walk ahead of them, going deeper and deeper into the underworld. 

Nero hesitantly followed V. He remained close but far enough to keep his distance. He trailed behind while holding his glowing arm. “So, Kid— how’d ya end up here?” Griffon asked as he flew next to Nero. Nero looked away and remained quiet. “Oooookay, not much of a social butterfly— got it…” He finished. Shadow huffed in annoyance from Griffon as it trailed along side of Nero. “What?…it was only a question..” Griffon mumbled he rolled his eyes.

The two of them, along with V’s demonic entities continued to walk inside the cave. Genuinely trying to find any ounce of civilization, most likely to find Virgil and Dante, but V knew they were miles away from them. It was quiet for a few moments until V broke the silence.

“How old are you…” V said as he continued looking straight ahead while walking with his cane. Nero glanced quickly towards V’s back to then look away. “16…” he mumbled.

“hmph.” V huffed. “What..” Nero replied. V shrugged. “….nothing.” He answered.

“How old are you?” Nero asked. “17.” V mumbled. Nero nodded. “What’re they? Your pets?” Nero asked as he placed his non wounded hand to pet Shadow who purred against Nero’s leg. “Hey! I’m not a pet, asshole!” Griffon mumbled.

V hummed amusingly. “Somewhat.” 

“HEY!” Griffon squawked.

II. (中文翻译)

"嗯，"V笑着说，向他们前面几步远的孩子透露了他的位置。
"看来，一个迷失的、想知道的灵魂需要...." . 他继续说道，因为他离那个孩子更近了。" ...... 治愈...... "他低声说，带着邪恶的微笑，他的手掌紧握着他的手杖。他的恶魔乌鸦在听到他的主人说话时发出了惊人的声音。
"什--什么？" 格里芬喊道。" V! V！..... .c--现在来吧，伙计! --" 格里芬说，拍打着翅膀，拼命想挡住V的路，保护那个男孩。" 不...... 没有必要杀了这个男孩！" ! 他...... 他只是一个男孩！" 格里芬说! 他--他是个孩子！" 格里芬继续说道。就连影子也害怕地呜咽起来。格里芬和V，加上他们的宠物豹，影子，在一起的时间里见过很多恶魔，他们不应该害怕一个迷路的孩子，但他们很害怕V能做什么。
孩子一边吸着鼻子，一边用一只手擦去眼泪，但他的另一只手没有动，只是紧紧地攥在胸前。看起来他的手臂受伤了。V邪恶地笑着，他举起手，命令格里芬做这件事，带走孩子的灵魂。
"现在是你......"......V开始说，因为他咧嘴笑了。" ...... 它是...... 自由...... 丢失的孩子......" V说完，他的眼神变得狂热，同时将手转过去，让格里芬很可能处决这个男孩，直到影子咆哮起来，直到他停顿下来，看到V被扔到地上。
格里芬和影子转向男孩，看到男孩伸出他的手臂，上面闪耀着........ 透明的蓝色？" 哦，我的上帝！" 格里芬尖叫着拍打着翅膀离开了男孩，男孩现在已经站了起来，慢慢地走向V，他还在地上，因为撞击而咳嗽。
"嗯...... 没有按计划进行......" V嘟囔着，他用手杖挣扎着坐起来。攥着拐杖，他从质地厚重的地板上坐起来，与男孩面对面。在我看来，你有能力为自己辩护，......" V微微一笑，说道。然后他伸出手与男孩握手。V..." V边说边介绍自己。男孩起初犹豫了一下，但随后他伸出了他那只略微受伤的手臂，那只手臂发出了一些蓝色的光芒，并与V的手握在了一起。" 尼禄。" 男孩说，微微皱起眉头，只是把表情转回严肃，以免在V面前显得脆弱。
"那么......" 格里芬开始说。" 我们应该对他做什么？" 他问道。V耸了耸肩。" 我们将把他带回地面，......" 他继续说，因为他用手杖站了起来。他对着紧闭的拳头咳嗽了一声，然后拿着手杖走在他们前面，越走越深，进入冥界。

尼禄犹豫不决地跟在V身后，他仍然很近，但离得很远，以保持距离。他跟在后面，同时握着他发光的手臂。" 那么，孩子--你是怎么来到这里的？" 狮鹫在飞到尼禄身边时问道。尼禄看着远方，保持沉默。" 哦，不怎么喜欢社交，得到了......" 他说完了。影子在格里芬跟在尼禄身后时，恼怒地哼了一声。" 什么？...... 这只是一个问题。" 格里芬一边翻着白眼一边嘟囔着。
他们两个人和V的恶魔实体一起继续在山洞中行走。真心想找到任何一丝文明，最有可能找到维吉尔和但丁，但V知道他们在数英里之外。安静了一阵子，直到V打破了沉默。
"你多大了......" V边说边继续直视前方，同时用手杖行走。尼禄迅速朝V的背影瞥了一眼，然后转移了视线。" 十六岁...... "他嘀咕道。
"哼。"V哼了一声。" 什么......" 尼禄回答。V耸了耸肩。" ......没什么。" 他回答说。
"你多大了？" 尼禄问。" 17." V喃喃自语。尼禄点了点头。" 他们是什么？你的宠物吗？" 尼禄问道，把他没有受伤的手放在抚摸影子上，影子靠着尼禄的腿咕咕叫。" 嘿！我不是宠物，混蛋！" 格里芬嘀咕道。
V不好意思地哼了一声。" 算是吧。" 
"嘿！" 格里芬叫道。
