Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

It’s been a few years since Ochako moved away from home to work as an astronomy professor in her state's university. Her parents had been supportive of her dreams since little, the small construction company they owned and Ochako’s star scores helped her go through college against all odds. Her master's had been a bit more tricky but only because men in the 50’s weren’t comfortable with the idea of sharing a classroom with a woman. Luckily for her not all her professors were a pain and after finishing her studies one of her professors was persistent on getting her on board for a phd.

It had taken a bit of getting used to but teaching a few first level courses while working with Dr. Aizawa on a joint investigation was the dream job she didn’t know she wanted. She’d even been able to send some money back to her parents to help grow the construction company. She would never think of regretting something like that, except maybe for this small, tiny occasion.

“You have to come with us, Ochako!” her mother’s voice sounds from the other side of the line on the phone “If it weren’t for you we couldn't have been able to afford it, besides you deserve a vacation too”

What her mother is talking about is the cabin her parents bought in a summer vacation resort right between her hometown and the city she currently resided in. Ochako knew business was going well for her parents, sure her mom had started mentioning more shopping trips as of lately and her dad had told her he’d bought a new truck and both of them had told her a few months ago that she could stop sending her checks but a private cabin in a vacation resort, even if a small one, seems like a different tax bracket from the one she grew up in.

“I don’t know mom, a summer resort? That's the kind of stuff only really nice people go to”

“I know darling but we are really nice people” Ochako can't help laughing

“You know what I mean mom”

“We’ve worked hard our whole lives Ochako, we could never afford family vacations like this and I know you have a life of your own out there in the big city but your father and I would love to share this with you”

Ochako bites her lip as she twirls the phone's cable in her small kitchen and thinks about what she’d have to tell Dr. Aizawa. He wouldn’t even ask that many questions, he’s always insisting she should take one of the long vacations, complains he didn’t get her as his TA to take advantage of her hardworking nature.

“Alright”

Her mother squeals on the other side and Ochako has to hold the phone away from her ear. If any cable girl had decided to stay and listen in on the conversation that scream would be sure to have driven her away.

“Your father and I will pick you up this weekend! Have your bag ready sweetie”

“Oh, mom you don’t have to come all the  way up here. I’ll ask a friend to drive me down” another, more subdued squeal comes from the other end.

“Oh! Would that happen to be a boy- friend by any chance?”

Ochako internally groans.

Hitoshi, Dr. Aizawa’s son, is the closest thing she has to a boyfriend. Shinsou himself has said so which works great for them considering he keeps creeps and nosy women away in the faculty and he can keep fucking his blond twink boyfriend in the comfort of their home where he should and not in his fathers study where poor naive phd students could walk in and catch them leading to very awkward situations.

“No. He just owes me favors for life”

Yuuei summer resort has been a constant in Izuku’s life ever since his mother married his ex-pediatrician. It had been awkward at first but Izuku was happy that she had finally moved on from his father leaving. Toshinori had also been a constant on Izuku’s life and he took the job of a father figure very seriously, the man was specially thrilled when Izuku announced he’d be attending med school after graduating highschool.

He’d taken the exams in secret hoping to surprise both his parents, Toshinari is a respected doctor in the community and Izuku had no doubt he could get him into the top school in the country without much problem but Izuku was set on doing things on his own. Years later he’s working in one of the biggest hospitals of the city, despite receiving multiple offers from all over the country he’d decided to stay near his parents. Izuku wasn't selfish, he only wished to stay close to the ones he loved, he’d even bought a house near his parents place so he could visit regularly.

Despite moving out he always made time to accompany his parents to the summer resort every year. The place had become part of his core memories. Through the years he’d made friends and contacts that had helped him through his professional career. He’d also met Katsuki Bakugou, the resort’s director’s son and whom, after the first summer of unconsciously hanging around him, Izuku deemed his gay awakening years later.

Ever since they had started having their summer flings, Izuku had a new reason to go back to the resort every year. Sure, the guilt of having to hide his sexuality to his parents was killing him but Kachan made everything worth it. When they were together he felt like he could be himself, open on his insecurities, in his passion and in life.

His mother had never pushed any agenda onto him but as he neared thirty she had started trying to set him up with some of her friends' daughters. He hoped it was his imagination every time he saw his mothers smile falter when she opened the door for his visits.

“It’s saturday night Izuku” she’d said one time after he’d called her to tell her he’d be the one taking dinner this time. “How did it go with Melissa last week? Aren’t you going on a second date tonight?”

Izuku was too polite to decline any advances, and hell would freeze over before he could say no to his loving mother so he at least tried dating some of the women she and Toshinori suggested.

“She’s very nice mom but I don’t think she’s the one for me”

It’s not that he didn’t find them attractive, but he never felt a connection with them the way he did to Kachan. They didn’t contact each other during the rest of the year, Katsuki had argued it wouldn’t be safe for either of them to even try and had made a point to not give him any ways to contact him. When Deku tried sending him a birthday gift to the resort anonymously the same year, Katsuki had called, told him not to do that again and then hung up.

He’d surprised him at Izukus doorstep a few days later, the first and only time they'd ever seen each other outside of the resort. He was wearing a hat and coat and had asked with urgency if he could come in, Izuku would’ve laughed at the politeness of it all if he hadn’t realized Kachan was acting like a stranger on purpose.

“I got your phone number and home address on my own Deku” was the first thing he said after the door closed “You’re just starting in your dream job. What do you think would happen if the hospital board found out you were sending thoughtful gifts to men?”

“I don’t think there’s anything weird about sending gifts to my childhood friend”

“It is when your friend fucks men for extra cash. Think about your safety for fucks sake”

His visit had led to an enlightening chat about their relationship, ground rules, emergency situations and what Katsuki’s off the books work in the resort meant for them. They more or less settled on leaving their relationship for the resort, until they could find a way for them to move in together and not raise any eyebrows and Izuku was fine with it. At least that’s what he kept telling himself.

“I can squeeze you in for a thorough one on one session around 8:00pm, what do you say ma’am?”

Katsuki had learned from a very young age the effect he had on people. He had inherited his mother’s looks and, just like her, he was always ready to use them in his favor. The blushing mess of a woman across from him on the lake shack counter is a good example, he knows perfectly well that she’s married, he makes a point to memorize all the guests information when he helps his parents run the resort over the summer.

Other kids would complain about the extra work over vacation but not Katsuki. Well, maybe at first, but not after he realized the kind of people that actually came to the resort to relax. Music producers, club owners, CEO’s, even a few politicians and Katsuki had learned the best way to get into their wallets was either through their pants or their wives.

Katsuki has a reputation among the guests for being a grueling trainer in the ressort gym, an on and off lake-guard and most importantly staff supervisor; all this while his mother is taking care of the real VIP’s. But Katsuki knew what his real job was, it was an unspoken agreement, one that his mother had with her own father when he ran the ressort. He was eye candy. Whatever he did, he always made a point of being the best at and this was no exception. He took great care of his physique, he would always ask for the latest from his fathers fashion company and after years of this he considered himself to be a master at the seduction selling technique.

A good therapist would say this wasn’t doing wonders for his self esteem like he so proudly claimed every time he looked in the gym's bathroom mirrors after a shower. A good therapist would ask if he felt like his mother was exploiting him sexually and if maybe his fiery temper with her was a direct consequence to his resentment. A good therapist would also ask if he felt like all this was affecting his ability to form a healthy relationship.

But that last part was bullshit, the reason for his status as a permanent bachelor had first and last name, a galaxy of freckles on his back and a mess of curly dark green hair. Deku had wormed his way into his life in his early years. Dr. Yagi was a long time friend of the Bakugou’s. Or rather a recurring guest at the resort, so of course Mitsuki had said yes to have Katsuki be Deku’s little play-mate and show him around the place.

Initial annoyance had turned into resignation, resignation to friendliness and friendliness made way to attraction. After his first year of giving out premium eye candy service he decided to try his luck with the person he was actually interested in. For the entire summer Deku had been succesfully playing dumb and evading any kind of advances the blond made but despite the efforts Katsuki could tell he had an effect on his childhood friend turned crush. He kept pushing his luck until the end of season fireworks when he’d just gone for it and kissed him. There had been more than literal fireworks that night and since then Katsuki had a reason to look forward to summer season in the resort.

“I can’t believe you’re using me again”

“I can’t believe you think we’ll ever stop”

“Don’t include me in the using! Ochako I swear he told me you knew”

The drive from Mustafu to Yuuei had been an ongoing argument between Ochako and her not-boyfriend plus commentary from her not-boyfriend’s actual boyfriend.

“It’s only for work, you know my dad knows about Denki”

“Somehow I think that’s worse” It was a relief that the doctor knew, Ochako hadn’t been able to look at the man in the eye and refused to do any more after hours deliveries for a week until Hitoshi had explained to her that his father knew.

“Tosh you can’t keep using Ochako as a fake girlfriend without her consent”

“Yeah!”

“What will you do when she gets a real boyfriend?”

Hitoshi scoffs.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

From her spot in the back of the car Ochako could barely see the tip of a smirk.

“I don’t think we have to worry about that happening sunshine” to her horror the purple haired driver reaches his hand out to his boyfriend and entwines their fingers together before pulling it towards his lips and giving it a soft kiss.

“Hey! No, no you don’t get to make a sweet moment out of bullying me”

Hitoshi laughs again.

“I just don’t think you’ll be getting a boyfriend anytime soon”

Denki gasps “Babe you can’t say stuff like that to people”

“You are beeing awfully rude to a person that has seen you fucking over your fathers desk”

“You can’t use that. I’m making up for it right now”

“Alright, then you’re being awfully rude to someone that can bench more than you”

“I’m assuming that's a threat but I don’t bench much anyway so I’ll pretend it’s not impressive. Also you’re just furthering my point”

“Are you saying I can’t get a boyfriend because I bench more than you?”

“Because you bench at all really”

It’s not the first time she’s heard a comment like that, her mother had always made a point to keep her away from the heavy lifting when loading and unloading cargo but back when they couldn’t afford help she was everything her dad had.

“Didn’t think I’d ever hear a sexist comment from a gay man”

Hitoshi sighs.

“That’s not what I meant”

Damage is done and she’s hurt but it’s a long car ride and he’s the only real friend she has.

“Alright, what did you mean then?”

“You’re smart Ochako, you’re working on your phd, you love working with my dad, a highly respected tenured professor who asked for you personally as his project partner, you love your body, you won’t change your exercise routine just because a man says so, you’re independent, you like living on your own, you don’t need anyone”

“Doesn’t mean I don’t want someone”

“But that's the thing. In the world we live in, men are the ones who get to want things. Women are supposed to need . No man will ever get you to settle for him Ochako and I don’t think there’s a single one out there that’s already good enough for you”

The car becomes silent for a moment after his words, Ochako feels a warmth in her chest, she knows this is Hitoshi’s weird way of acting like a protective older brother but that doesn’t mean his words strike something in her.

“Aww babe, you really care about Ochako.”

She can practically see the hearts in Denki’s eyes as he continues to tease his boyfriend for being a softie for the duration of the trip. They fall into a playful lovers banter and Ochako decides to fall back in her seat and just watch them interact. There’s a strange domesticity to them that Ochako finds herself yearning for.

She appreciates Hitoshi’s words but she couldn’t help picking up on the negative undertones. Her friend is right, she knows her own value but it’s disheartening to hear him say there is no man out there for her. Sure she’s happy, she’s comfortable in her life. It’s not like she spends all her nights alone in her apartment, she has friends outside of university and enjoys watching shows or shopping out but when she looks at other couples like Hitoshi and Denki a part of her screams for something like that. Someone to share her passion with, someone to cook and eat with at home, someone she can share inside jokes with, someone she can spend the day with in complete silence, someone she can wake up to. Maybe she isn’t as comfortable alone as she thinks she is.

She won’t ever say it out loud but she fears the day when this craving grows and turns into something that will change her. She fears Hitoshi is wrong and one day she will settle for a man undeserving of her.

Katsuki knows Deku will arrive any minute now. Dr. Yagi always arrives on the second Saturday of June during midday. He’s done so for the last 25 years and this time is no exception. As he sees the familiar beige chrysler imperial drive down and stop in front of the reception building he hands over the suitcases of the guest he’d just checked in to the helping bellboy and heads straight towards them.

With his brightest smile on he waves at the family.

“Good day Dr. Yagi, wonderfull to see you again” he is quick to greet the huge man as he steps out of his vehicle keys in hand already making their way into Katsuki’s.

“Young Bakugou! How are you? How are your parents?”

“They’re good sir, probably already waiting for you inside with a welcome drink for you and the misses” he expertly turns to Deku’s mother and gives her a small bow “Miss Inko you look breathtaking. Did you do something with your hair?”

The older woman giggles and takes her husbands arm “That trick only worked once Katsuki”

“Just practicing my lines to get the good tips ma’am. Speaking of which, why don’t you go on ahead to check in and I’ll take the things to your cabin yeah?”

“Thankyou Katsuki you’re a dear”

“It's no trouble at all ma’am”

The couple walks into the building and Bakugou is quick to call on one of the spare bellboys with a cart. He pops the trunk and starts rummaging through the bags when he feels a presence next to him.

“Do you want help with that?”

Contrary to his mother Deku did do something with his hair, it’s cut short on the sides and his curls fall like a halo around his face. He looks thinner than when he last saw him, but he always does when he comes back from the city. Katsuki knows his job doesn’t leave much time for exercise and he’s not even going to get started on his diet. His freckles are still there though, right under the eyebags and above his grand smile. He has to resist the urge to kiss him.

“With those scrawny arms? I don’t thinks so”

Deku seems taken back as he sees Katsuki unload the bags into the waiting bellboy’s cart taking two under each arm. He makes sure to flex when pulling them out, he’d pulled his shirt’s sleeves all the way up just for Deku to see.

“What's wrong with my arms?” Deku complains as he looks at Katsuki work.

“Nothing serious don’t worry about it” he turns to get the next bag and leans close to the crossed arm Deku to whisper “I’ll work you up so hard you’ll be back in shape before the end of next week”

Deku’s ears turn red and Katsuki finishes unloading the car while the nerd sorts out his feelings in a coughing fit.

“I’ll take your dad's car to the parking lot. I’ll meet you at the cabin nerd.” Katsuki doesn't have to wink, they both know Deku’s parents will be busy for a few hours greeting summer resort friends before going to the cabin to settle down.

Dr. Yagi’s cabin isn’t anything grand in the resort. He’d bought the cabin early on and had never really bothered getting an upgrade, it had a nice porch, a small kitchen, living room and three rooms upstairs. One for his parents, one for him and one in case of extra guests.

By the time Katsuki arrives Izuku has long dismissed the bellboys. He’s been anxiously pacing the living room waiting for the tell tale of Katsukis shoes on the porch stairs.

The guy knocks on the door but it’s only a courtesy, he steps in without waiting for a response. He instinctively checks for the closed curtains and heads straight to the kitchen, the only place on the first floor that’s hidden from the outside. Deku is already waiting for him, his eyes roaming over his face as he takes him in with open arms and a wet kiss.

Katsuki pushes him against the counter, his hands roaming Deku’s muscular back and curly hair, Deku’s hands go low and give Katsuki’s ass a light squeeze bringing him closer.

“I missed you” he says between short breaths and lip bites

“Missed you more”

“Kachan…” Deku moans a complain after the blond trails kisses down his throat.

Their first kiss is always intense. It's the result of months of being apart, all their pent up energy coming out without anything to hold them back.

“I’ll prove it to you” Katsuki smirks as he slides down, his hands roaming his boyfriends chest until he’s kneeling and working on undoing his pants.

“Already?” the doctor almost sounds coy. Katsuki loves that about him.

“I’ve been looking forward to it all day. Then you come in with that haircut…”

Katsuki’s words trail off as Deku’s dick springs out of his pants. He's already hard and throbbing, he might act more reserved but Katsuki knows the doctor wants this as much as he does.

“So you liked it?” Katsuki scoffs as he looks up past his meal and into green eyes. The man is already flushed res up to the tip of his ears, his curls have no style or shape from where Katsuki pulled them. He looks perfect.

“You look too hot to be a nerd, it ain’t right” he jokes before licking his lips and taking his boyfriend in his mouth.

Deku bites his hand to suppress a moan, with the other he steadies himself in the counter as Katsuki works on bobbing his head up and down. Deku works in his breathing trying to hold on to his sanity and wondering how long has it been. He looks down to find Katsuki staring back at him as he licks and slurps. He sometimes takes breaks switching to his hand to be able to tease Izuku properly.

“Like what you see?” Izuku can barely mister a response and only half bables an agreement, already high on pleasure “Oh cmon, don't leave me so soon. We're barely getting started” Katsuki squeezes and Izuku’s knees buckle but Kachan is right there to catch him while pumping. He leans into his boyfriend's ear to whisper.

“Poor doctor hasn't been taking care of all his needs it seems. Look at you all worked up from some mouth work” he pushes Deku’s shirt up exposing his perk nipples and takes a bite. Dekus back arches as a moan is hardly suppressed by his hand.

“Don't you worry doctor, I'll take care of you. Hope you're not the only competent medic at your work cause I'm gonna make you come so many times you're gonna need brain surgery by the time I’m done with you”

“K-kachan! I-Im close!”

Katsuki lets go of the abused nipple and lowers himself to take him in his mouth again. He feels Dekus thrusts turn erratic and suddenly a familiar taste fills his mouth. Deku looks mortified, he always does but Katsuki swallows the whole thing without breaking eye contact, he then licks his lips and with a teasing smirk licks the shaft clean of any residue. Deku just stares entranced, his mind foggy from his orgasm high. Once he’s done Katssuki stands and grabs hold of Deku’s chin.

“Delicious” he pulls him in for a wet kiss and then asks “Ready for round two?”

Chapter 2: Chapter 2

Summary:

The one where Deku schemes.

Chapter Text

It has been a week since her arrival at the resort and so far Ochako is not impressed with what it has to offer. Her parents had urged her to check the bulletin board for fun activities to do; Ochako had hoped to find star gazing among the list but wasn’t too surprised when it wasn’t. The sport activities sounded fun until a receptionist informed her the competitive teams were male exclusive. She tried to not feel upset but after asking for the kayak classes in the lake and only getting a spa suggestion instead she’d given up altogether.

When she found the resort's gym she felt like not all was lost until she tried making use of the weights and all the employees swarmed her saying she couldn’t use those due to it being a risk to her health.

“Then why are they here in the first place?”

“Well they’re for experienced users”

“I am an experienced user” the man didn’t even bother to hide the head to toe scan on her. Ochako even tried flexing her arms discreetly but the staff member wasn’t having it.

“It’s a legal thing, we can’t risk you getting hurt while staying here”

It was a bullshit thing really but she did sign up for the yoga classes. The instructor, a woman with bright pink hair named Mina, had told her she was making great progress with her flexibility considering it was her first time.

Alright, so there were some good sides to the resort. Mina is one of them, second would be Tsu, one of the lifeguards posted at the lake who’d asked her if she belonged to a swimming team after seeing her swim through the complete lake circuit twice before taking a break. Third would be Momo, a woman around her age she’d met during dance classes her mother had insisted she should sign up for because ‘she might meet a nice man there’.

Which led her to her biggest issue with her ‘vacation’. Ochako is coming to realize the whole affair is just an elaborate way for her mother to try to get her a boyfriend. So far Ochako had heard so many names they were all kind of blurring together.

“Have you met Yo? He’s the son of a construction company in the city. Your father met with him some months ago…”

“I heard there’s a race car driver staying this summer, Inasa… something was his name. Do you know anything about that?”

“His mother says he’s head of the neurology department and has his own place in the city. He’s a dedicated son to a fault but she can’t get him to settle for any girl she sends his way.  And he’s around your age! Why don't you - ?”

“ALRIGHT!”

Silence falls between her mother and her in the breakfast nook of the small cabin they had bought. Even her father turns to her from the stove where he’d been making pancakes with a concerned expression.

“Chako chip? Is everything ok?”

Ochako takes a deep breath and nods. She wouldn’t say she’s ok with the constant pestering but maybe if she went out with one of them it would make her mother stop. She turns to the woman across from her and sighs “You win, I’ll go out with this one” her mother’s face lights up immediately “ BUT ” Ochako continues before she can say anything else “If it doesn’t work out I need you to stop trying to set me up with someone. At least for the rest of the time we’re here”

Her mother seems to consider this “You have to put in genuine effort” that's a reasonable request.

“I will”

“Three dates”

“I said one!”

“You said you’d go out with him, didn’t specified number of dates” Ochako groans

“Fine, I’ll ask for a second date, it’s up to him if he agrees. I won’t promise a third”

“Oh he’ll ask for a third”

“I reserve my right to decline the third, the guy could be a creep for all we know”

“He’s not a creep, he’s a doctor”

“We’ll see about that” she takes a bite from her generous pancake serving and chews with a scowl in her face. Her mother on the other hand hasn't looked so pleased with herself since she stole a brisket recipe from their neighbors back when Ochako was in middle school. Ochako can’t help hoping the guy will be a creep, she’s not sure how her father and her will be able to ground her mother again if this works out “What was his name again?”

During the summer Izuku likes sunbathing after breakfast near the lake. After a months of not taking enough sun the freckles on his back dim down and despite what his middle school bullies used to say in the changing room, they’re part of him now and he has grown to love them. It also helps that whenever Katsuki is giving after care he makes a point to kiss each and every one of them so he can’t help trying to get more on him. He’s in the middle of trying to focus back on his book and not think too much about riding Kachan’s dick while he’s only wearing a bathing suit in public when a long shadow is cast over him.

“Hello!”

He looks up to find a girl standing next to his tanning chair. He’s no stranger to women approaching him, especially here at the resort; summer flings aren’t an exclusive thing only Katsuki and he do and to the general female population he seems to be free and available.

“Umm…Hi?” he shuffles around so he’s no longer giving her back to her. She doesn’t look familiar, maybe that’s why she’s trying her luck. Regulars already know getting to him is nearly impossible.

“You’re Izuku Midoriya correct? Your mom and my mom met at the salon a few days ago”

Izuku's stomach falls.

“Oh” He knows who this girl is, his mother had mentioned her. The name had stuck simply because his mother usually gives him a break from the wife search while they stay at the resort. Probably hoping the time off and mingling with other guests might do the trick on its own.

“You’re Uraraka” The woman nods.

“You can call me Ochako. I can tell by the look on your face you’ve been hearing the same banter since that cursed meeting. So!” she claps her hands together “We’re going to do something together”

“We are?”

“We are. Right now”

“Now?!”

“Yes, the sooner the better. If it works, great. If not then we can both say we tried”

Izuku is struck speechless.

The woman is attractive, his mother has a gift for finding beautiful women for him to date. She’s wearing a red and white polka dot  halter dress that accentuated her whole upper body area and falls down to full hips. She looks different than the women he’s dated before and despite him not being able to point out how he is intrigued. Her makeup and brown hair is done to perfection adorned by a lovely white summer hat, by all standards she looks ready for a date.

“I-I’m not exactly dressed for a date right now” he gestures to himself but Ochako waves his comment away.

“It’s fine, you can be the one dressed nice for the second one”

“Second one?” Izuku smiles out of sheer surprise at her boldness.

Ochako shakes her head and her already rosy cheeks turn a shade darker “Nevermind. Just follow me. I thought we could take one of the row boats and go for a ride in the lake” she gestures to the docks behind her.

Izuku blinks. She’s taking the lead. That’s a first on his set up dates. The norm for his Katsuki dates, he always likes taking the lead and Izuku is happy to oblige. He already has to stress out about decisions on his every day job, letting someone else take the lead is a breath of fresh air.

“Yeah, I think that’s perfect”

Ochako’s eyes narrow slightly as if assessing if he really meant that and the shadow of a pleased smile grazes her lips. He reaches to grab his shirt from the side table and finally stands to his full height, a full head taller than her. When he looks back at her he can’t help the blush that creeps to his cheeks at the look she gives him. He can take a guess that she wasn’t expecting him to be that much bigger. He lets her ogle at him while he finishes buttoning.

“Lead the way” he motions with his arms in front of him and that seems to snap her back to reality.

“Right” she mumbles before she starts walking in the direction of the docks.

They take one of the small boats, they seat across from each other. The guy at the pier pushes them off the dock and they drift off into the lake. There are very few row boats in the area at this time of day, but they do manage to catch some odd looks from guests Izuku recognize as regulars. They’re probably wondering how a newcomer girl managed to tangle him into a date.

But the only pair of eyes he’s worried about are Katsuki’s. Izuku knows he’s not scheduled around the lake at this time of day, if he did Katsuki would be all over him during his sunbathing. Still he gives a quick look around before his eyes settle back on his express date.

He hadn’t realized how awkward the silence felt until he was made aware of it by her shy smile. He tried smiling back while racking his brain for something to say, thankfully she is faster.

“Are you going to row?” She motions to the oars hanging from each side of the boat. He looks at them and then back at her.

“I uh… I thought you’d be the one rowing?”

“Me? But the guy rows”

“Well, yeah but I’ve never rowed before and since you’re the one who suggested…” Izuku was an expert on being a terrible date. He had to be the right amount of rude and polite so women wouldn’t complain to his mother but wouldn’t ask to see him again.

“Oh, well I thought…” she starts but then seems to reevaluate herself “You know what? Yeah you’re right. Let's switch”

They change seats awkwardly, both too focused on keeping the boat from toppling over to care about their proximity to each other. Once settled she takes an oar on each hand and starts rowing. It then strikes him why she looks different: her shoulders are wider than usual, her arms are more muscular than what he’s used to seeing in women but the moment she starts rowing her biceps pop up and Izuku’s heart stops.

He’s a doctor, of course he knows women have muscles in their arms just like men so in theory it doesn’t surprise him, what does surprise him is how much he likes it. He finds himself leaning forward a bit with newfound interest for the brunette, he rests his head on his chin and just stares.

“You exercise” he doesn’t phrase it as a question but Ochako feels the need to answer like it was anyway, after all that’s what she was hoping for when she took the rows.

“Yeah, I started when I lived back home and after moving out it helped me feel less homesick”

“That’s odd” Ochako raises an eyebrow, there it is . But Izuku seems to realize his mistake and adds “For a woman” Hitoshi’s word's echo in her mind, the man in front of her turns a light tone of red that she decides must be from the sun “I mean that in a good way” she scrunches her face and tries not to laugh.

“My mom said you were from the city, but now I’m not sure because where I live calling someone odd doesn’t count as a compliment”

Izuku cringes away “You’re right, I’m sorry. What I meant is, it's unusual and I think it’s a great thing to do. You know doing exercise produces serotonin so it makes sense that it would help you when feeling homesick” Ochako’s rowing falters, but she doesn’t let herself fall too fast. Just because he’s not undermining her hoby right now doesn’t mean he’d date her.

“Serotonin?”

“Ah! A happy drug our brain makes when we’re, well, happy” he explains making

“Oh right, my mom mentioned you were a doctor”

“Neurosurgeon” he nods enthusiastically “I basically open up peoples heads for a living”

Ochako laughs despite herself. Izuku gets a familiar feeling in his chest. “I think the professor I work with would say he does something similar”

“Oh you work! What do you do?” His tone isn't demeaning or questioning and it starts to chip at the doubt in her heart.

“I’m working on my phd in astronomy at the state university while helping one of the tenured professors on his research” she explains in a less defensive tone than she’s used to when talking about her work with men.

“That’s amazing! People must get confused and ask you about their future all the time huh?” They did, it ranged from strangers at parties to men thinking she’s the one confusing the two things.

“Yes, that’s astrology and despite it being really fun it’s not an actual science”

“Oh I know some nurses are going to be very disappointed to hear that”

“Well I can promise not to tell them if it makes you feel any better. The complete astronomy department has an understanding with the local newspaper so we don’t out the horoscope” Izuku laughs at her joke and Ochako isn’t sure what to make of this great first impression.

Izuku asks more questions about stars, the most she’s ever received from someone outside of the science department and she is more than happy to oblige. It's a fun exercise trying to explain astronomy in a way someone who isn't familiar with the science can understand.

“I was hoping to do some stargazing since there’s much less light here than in the city but the resort doesn’t have a stargazing activity to my surprise” Izuku seems to think about this for a moment. Watching him take his hand to his chin in a thinking gesture makes her realize how much he uses his hands to express himself. As if to prove her point further he snaps and points at her.

“I think I can help you with that”

“Really?” she can’t help the hopefulness in her tone.

“Yeah, I have a friend who works here. I think they do have a telescope from a star gazing thing they did a while back. He should know”

“Oh thank you so much!” Deku scratches the back of his neck bashful.

“Thank me after getting you the telescope.”

Ochako finds herself genuinely smiling. Did her mom hit the jackpot? This man has been nothing less than nice to her. He's engaged in her interests and treated her with the utmost respect in their short time together and not to sound like her mother but he's a doctor. He seems too good to be true.

“You’re… odd” she mimics him from moments ago.

“In a good way I hope” He catches on to it.

“Most men I meet don’t like my lifestyle. The job, the weightlifting…”

“That would explain why your mom is playing matchmaker”

“She’s just worried about me. I should’ve told her I already have a boyfriend”

“Do you?” Izuku doesn't mean to sound anxious. Ochako swings her head left and right wondering how to answer that.

“Technically? He’s a friend but recently he’s acquired the habit of telling people we’re dating. It does give me a break from nosy men and women so I don’t deny anything”

“It kind of sounds like he’s manipulating you into dating him”

Ochako can’t help laughing. “Trust me he isn’t” Izuku doesn’t look satisfied so she continues “He’s my professor's son so we’ve known each other for a few years now. We’re close in a siblings kind of way but most importantly he’s already dating someone and…” her eyes glaze over for a moment remembering the few times she’s seen those two together in private. It makes her long for something like that. Her voice softens “They’re very much in love with each other. It’s complicated for them so he pretends to be dating me every now and then”

“Oh, does his father not approve?”

“Dr. Aizawa loves his son too much to care. It’s more of a society thing” a bell rings in Izuku’s head. He remembers an Aizawa being part of his fathers highschool friend group.

“Didn’t realize people were still judgy like that. And his girlfriend is ok with it?” Ochako feels as if someone has shaken her awake. It's odd to hear Denki being referred to as a woman, she knows it’s the norm but she hadn’t realized how bizarre it sounded. But what makes her feel even more uneasy is having to hold her tongue and not correct him.

Deku stares with his best poker face as he waits for her answer. He also remembers meeting Mr. Aizawa’s son back when they were kids in a school reunion. He never saw him again but he does remember the kiss they shared. If one could really call it that, it was more like a quick peck the other boy had insisted on.

“Yes” She wonders how many times Denki or Hitoshi have had to do something like this “I’ve met her, she’s a lovely person”

“So you know her personally. What is she like?” Ochako stares back at him for a moment, her walls rising up again.

“It’s kind of rude to be asking about another woman when you’re already on a date don’t you think?”

Her comment seems to sober up Izuku's curiosity. He purses his lips and nods “You’re right, I apologize”

Ochako nods, they both stay silent for a moment contemplating how and if they should pick back up on their conversation.

“Should we return to shore?” Izuku finally asks. She sighs in relief, she’d promise her mother she'd ask for a second date but she isn’t sure she can go through with that. She can just tell her the guy said no.

“Yeah, I think we’ve been out here long enough”

Ochako rows them back to the dock and promptly gets off the boat accepting the attendant's  help. Some people milling around are giving them odd looks, it takes her a second to realize that they’re giggling about her being the one rowing the boat. Ochako takes a deep breath taking in the odd and judgy looks, she got well acquainted with them during her first years at the university as a student and even now and then she still gets them.

A hand on her shoulder snaps her back to the present, she turns to find Izuku behind her with an unsure smile.

“I’m really sorry about making you uncomfortable right at the end. I’d like to make it up to you, I’ll get the telescope, that's a promise, and if you’re not too upset at me I would like to know if you’d be ok with me accompanying you while you use it.”

The looks Ochako had been stressing over just a second ago have doubled. At least people aren’t laughing at her now. She’s not sure if a second date is the smartest thing to do but she really does want to stargaze in the open field.

“I’ll let you know once you get the telescope”

“Kachan!”

Katsuki is usually happy to see the nerd. He always tries to be as close from where he’s doing his activities as possible but the resort is a large place and he can’t only be attending to a  single guest, no matter how much of a good fuck that particular guest is.

“Kachan!” he hears his tell-tale nickname from the entrance to the staff cabin grounds. The one other guy assisting him repair the staff showers turns to him with an uneasy smile. Katsuki waits for the snicker or giggle newcomers usually make the mistake of doing the first time they hear Katsukis nickname but it doesn’t come. Good , some good samaritan warned him beforehand.

He levels him with a single glare and then smirks “You can finish up here right?” newcomer nods enthusiastically and takes the tools Katsuki is handing over. Just in time footsteps are heard patting on the wooden stairs outside.

“Kachan?” his voice sounds closer and sure enough when he turns back around Deku has a hand on the door frame and is looking for him “Kachan!”

Katsuki swears the man is an overgrown puppy “Yeah I’m here, let’s see what your nerdy ass needs so urgently” but that’s just something he loves about him.

Deku looks like he can barely hold in his excitement, last time Katsuki saw him like this was when he got the news he passed his entrance exams.

“Remember what we talked about last year?” How could Katsuki forget?

They’d had a few extra drinks, in a spur of the moment Deku had asked him to marry him. After sobering up and Katsuki evading the subject for a few days Deku had told him he could ask to be transferred, they could start anew together. Katsuki was a bit more reserved. Starting fresh wasn’t enough for him, even if they could live that way for a few years people would start asking questions about two unmarried men living together for so long.

They start walking outside the cabin and off and away from the staff grounds with no destination in particular.

“Vaguely” he lies.

“I have our solution” Katsuki had hoped the nerd had forgotten about the idea altogether but he could understand how that would be impossible.

“Which is?”

“I’m getting married!”

“What?!”

Katsuki stops in his tracks. They’re a few feet away from the staff grounds but a few people still look over to them with curiosity. Katsuki mortified schools his expression back to normal  and takes a few deep breaths before resuming their walk and trying again.

What? ”

Deku hasn’t recoiled, he actually looks really proud at his idea and it only makes Katsuki angrier.

“Let me explain. I met someone today”

“Off to a great start” the blond grumbles

“A woman

“Oh well that's a relief, if your marriage prospect were a man then I would have something to say”

“She is great, she’s an astronomy phd student and super nice, she came onto me pretty strong, reminded me of you a bit, she also does some weightlifting; You might see her at one of your gym shifts, her arms aren’t super big like yours but when she started rowing her biceps-”

“Rowing?”

“Oh right! We were on a boat”

“You don’t like boats”

“I know! But it was her idea so I couldn’t say no” Deku was shit at saying no to people “It looked like she had the whole thing planned, it was exciting-”

“Deku!”

They’ve finally walked far enough from the more populated side of the resort and where no one would hear them speak.

“You’re rambling. I get it, she sounds great” Katsuki lied through his teeth “How is you marrying her our solution?”

“With me married no one will question my sexuality. Isn’t that what you're worried about?” Katsuki sighs.

“Except your wife might get suspicious if you spend more time with me than with her. I know you’re a doctor but if she’s a doctorate candidate it means she’s pretty smart too”

“But this is the best part! She’ll know about us!”

Katsuki has to take a step back “What?”

A lot of people had questioned Katsuki’s sexuality throughout his life, he’d even admitted to Izuku that most of his tips at the resort didn't come from women. He wasn’t shy around men, he knew better than anyone that men could be attracted to other men and he’d be an idiot to ignore extra money. The point is, he is comfortable being under that spotlight, the scrutiny and sometimes the looks that came with it. His mother wouldn’t fire him on account of it, he isn’t sure if she’s aware of her expanded clientele but if she was she never commented on it. The point was, he had a secure thing here at the resort and he’d started auditions for modeling gigs off season thanks to his fathers contacts in the city.

But Deku is a different story.

“You’re going to tell her?”

“We can trust her”

Deku with his straight squeaky clean career.

“You met her today

Deku, one of the top surgeons of the country.

“Well I’m not telling her right away. Besides she’s already doing it for another couple”

“She told you that ? And you want to trust her?”

If Deku’s sexuality came out, not only would he be a social pariah, he could be prosecuted.

“Well I kinda figured it out from our chat”

“Because that is so much better”

Deku who didn’t seem to care enough.

“She was being discreet, I was the one being pushy because I think I know who the guys are, that’s why I was able to figure it out” Katsuki is close to losing his mind. If it were anybody else he would already be calling the idea idiotic in the most colorfull and creative way. But this is Deku. His Deku. So he takes a  deep breath, takes his boyfriend's hands in his and squeezes lovingly.

“Deku I know you want this for us badly” he starts “I want it too but I don’t think it's worth you taking these kinds of risks. We don’t know this woman at all, we don’t know if we can trust her''

“Then let's figure it out! We have the whole season for it”

“What is this? The 1800’s? We get a season to find you a suitable match”

“I think I’ve found her, you’re the one who wants to figure out if we can trust her!”

“Not an unreasonable request!” he says through gritted teeths

“Then let me introduce you!”

“No! She’ll know what's up then”

“Alright, then we’ll get you to meet her in a discreet way somehow. What do you say?” Katsuki sighs, he can’t say no to him. Especially if this is something that could make it possible for them to be together year round. He hates to admit it but it’s too good to pass.

“Alright” Deku jumps triumphantly “But I’m not going easy on her”

“Please don’t scare her away”

“I won’t! I’m just not going to pretend to like her for your sake”

“Trust me, you won't have to” Katsuki scoffed “By the way do your parents still have that telescope from a few summers back?”

Chapter Text

Ochako hadn’t heard from Izuku for two whole days now. After her mother asked about the second date Ochako simply answered:

“Izuku insisted on planning the second date and told me to wait for him”

This seemed to please the woman enough. Counting her dad, who simply didn't seem to be interested in the ubject at all, that would be three people total who _hadn’t_ been insisting on knowing anything about her relationship with the doctor, everyone else in the resort was in the other category.

People who Ochako had never seen in her life were starting conversations with her. During yoga Mina had to call the class to attention at least five times the day after her boat date. Even men seemed to have acquired a new interest in her, she was no longer left without a partner in the dance workshop she’d decided to keep attending. Maybe this had been her mother’s plan all along, get her to parade around with the most popular bachelor on the resort and win some publicity points, she felt stupid for not seeing it coming.

She hoped it would die down by the end of the week, by the looks of it she didn't think she'd be hearing back from Izuku anytime soon. Which was fine by her. If she felt disappointed it was only because she’d hoped at least to get some stargazing out of it and no other reason.

It seemed the universe liked to make her look foolish though because on the third day’s afternoon as she was coming back from her dance class there was a familiar green haired man with a telescope in hand speaking to her mother. She subconsciously started walking faster and once she was close enough took over the conversation.

“Hi!” she said loudly. There could be nothing good for her from her mother and Izuku having a chat for too long.
“Ochako! I was just explaining to your mother the telescope” the thing looked bigger up close, Ochako couldn’t help feeling excited as she stared at the machine in his arms. It also looked heavy and she wondered if Izuku had carried it all the way. He’d been nice to compliment her on her arms but she’d failed to notice he also looked like he worked out.
“Izuku says you two are going stargazing tonight. That’s very romantic” her mother wiggled her eyebrows at her.
“Oh well, only if she wants to” Izuku  was fast to correct
“Of course she wants to!” Ochako’s mom gave her a closed lips smile and her eyes went so wide Ochako thought they would pop out at any moment.
“Right…” Ochako mumbles and her eyes dart back and forth between her mother and the man across from her. Something clicks in Izuku and he clears his throat.
“Well, now that Ochako is here I can ask her. Thankyou for waiting with me Mrs. Uraraka”
Ochako’s mom looks as if shaken from a dream “It was a pleasure to meet you Izuku” and retreats inside the house not before shooting Ochako one last warning look to agree to the date.

After they’re left alone Izuku turns to her “I got the telescope” he raises it a bit as if to emphasize his point.
“I can see that” she giggles. She takes note on the flutter she’s feeling in her heart. Is that excitement?
“I know it's missing the base and… more stuff… I think?” Ochako can't help giggling finding his cluelessness endearing “I left everything else on the box, I thought this would be enough proof”
“It is” she says, nodding her head. He smiles brightly at her.
“Alright so I’ll ask again. Would you be ok with me accompanying you?”

Ochako sighed. Her mother was obviously spying on the other side of the door and she did want to take advantage of the lack of city lights to see the stars and despite how biased she’d felt before she did like the idea of spending more time getting to know Izuku.
“I would be more than ok with you accompanying me” Izuzku’s entire face lights up and her heart reacts by making summersaults inside her chest. He has the cutest dimples forming on his cheeks.
“Great! Just one thing, could I come pick you up before sundown? I have no idea how to piece this thing together and something tells me you’d know” its Ochako’s turn to beam.
“I’d love to help you build the telescope”

The telescope was an old model and the last person who’d used it had stored it only half disassembled so putting it together was easier for her. Izuku did his best to assist holding the pieces together while she screwed everything in. Not once did he try taking over or questioned if what she was doing was right, the only time he spoke up was to praise her and ask what certain pieces worked for which she was more than glad to explain.

Izuku had really outdone himself, this seemed more like a proper date than the boat ride she’d made them go to. He’d brought a blanket and a picnic basket with sandwiches and thermos with tea and juice and true to his word he’d dressed up nicer too.

While they waited for it to get darker they enjoyed the food and chatted away, he never brought up Shinso or Denki. Instead he told her about his work, some patients he’s become fond of and how he got into medicine in the first place.

“Toshinori always left his instruments in my reach, I think he was setting me up to be a doctor from the start” he jokes while picking at some grapes “I never met my father, he left shortly after I was born so I never saw how much it affected my mother. Toshinori I do remember tho, he was always there for us”
“He sounds like an amazing person”
“He is. It might sound dumb but even if he’s not my real dad I think of him as my number 1 hero”
“That’s not dumb Izuku. He cares for you and your mom and I think that’s what makes a real father”

He tells her about hospital drama, she tells him about university gossip. They both share failed date stories their mothers put them through exchanging the weirdest dates they’ve had.

“She was really cute but I wasn’t sure if I was gonna make it out of there alive by the way she twirled the knife and talked about how exciting my job must be with all the blood involved.”
“Alright, you win creepiest date then”

Time flew by chatting with him under the night sky and when it was dark enough Ochako showed him the different star constellations through the telescope's lenses and explained how they’d come to acquire their names.

“We can’t see it right no but near the end of the season Andromeda should appear around… here”
Ochako positions the telescope and then steps back so Izuku can take a look. So far he’d been an excellent student, asking questions and getting excited whenever he found the stars Ochako kept mentioning.
“Maybe we could come back by the end of season to search for it?” he asks, without taking his eyes away from the telescope. Ochakos heart flutters again at the idea. She'd known the man for two days and already he seemed perfect. Thank god for her level head or she would already be asking to marry him herself. Ochako found herself smiling and nodding in delight, she still felt the need to be cautious but maybe there was no hurt in getting her hopes up a tiny bit.

“Can I keep the telescope at my place for the time being?” she asked as he helped her set the telescope back in its box. This time she showed him how to take it appart correctly so the pieces wouldn't get daamged.
“Of course, I’ll help you carry it back”
“Oh it’s ok, I could use the lifting, I haven’t been able to do that since I came here”
“You haven’t tried the resort's gym?” he asks with genuine curiosity
“Oh I have" she sighs rolling her eyes "They won’t let me use the weights. I’m taking yoga with Mina tho so it’s not like I’m stuck with doing nothing”
“They won’t let you use the weights?”
“No… something about me hurting myself and blaming them for it or something” Izuku seemed to ponder for a bit, he had the cutest thinking face.
“Next time try going during the first shift and ask for Katsuki. He’s the head of staff and I’m sure he’ll let you use the weights”
“Wow, and  here I thought your connections stopped at getting a telescope”

Katsuki just knew the bubbly brunette walking through the gym doors first thing in the morning couldn't be anything but trouble. No normal girl would wake up this early in the morning during her vacation to go to the gym. The aerobics and yoga classes weren’t scheduled to start for a few hours, so what could the little brunette want? The girl practically skipped her way over to the counter and he immediately turned on the charm. He'd never seen the girl before but a guest is still a guest, no matter how out of place she looked in her long skirt and hoodie.

“Good morning pretty lady, how may I assist you this fine morning?” the girl looked unfazed by his greeting, Katsuki took note of that.
“Good morning! I’m looking for Katsuki, I was told I could find him here?”

No one asked for him by name unless they wanted his premium service and he isn’t used to having premium customers so early in the morning but he’s not one to judge and cash is cash.

“Lucky lady, I’m right here and ready to go” this time the girl did smile. Katsuki smiled back, she must like what she sees.
“Nice to meet you! My name is Ochako Uraraka” The girl extends her hand and Katsuki, set on playing along, takes it and gives it a kiss.
“Lovely to meet you Ochako. Where should we head to?” Ochako looks surprised at the gesture but makes no comment of it. Instead she turns to the gym's interior.
“Well I was hoping you could help me with the weights”
“The weights? You want to do it on the weight bench?”
“Yeah umm... Izuku said you could help me use the weights, maybe spot me if you can. Last time I came they wouldn’t-”

Katsuki immediately tunes her out the moment Deku’s name slips out of her mouth. The flirty demeanor instantly wears off. The scowl comes back to his features and he looks at the girl more closely while she rambles on, it looks like she has that in common with Deku, maybe that's why they hit it off so well.

“You’re Deku’s date” he cuts her off. Ochako’s face scrunches up at the unfamiliar name.
“Deku?" In an instant Katsuki's smile turns into a frown and he crosses his arms. Guard back up against the strange woman who his boyfriend had vehemently vouched for. If this woman was supposed to know his and Deku’s life secret then she had to know the real Katsuki, not the guest facade.

“Nickname I gave him, don’t mind it. You said you want to try the weights? You sure about that?”

Ochako felt the shift in tone, and she herself got more defensive. She was tired of arguing with gym staff for over a week, she wasn’t about to waste another hour of her day. She squares up and looks straight at him, just because he's big doesn't mean she's gonna let him pushe her around.

“Yes, I’m sure. Izuku said you’d let me use the weights but if you have a problem with it I’d rather you not waste my time” it was Katsukis turn to feel taken back. Ok so the woman had spunk, that’s new.

“Alright cheeks, don't get your knickers in a twist. You can use the weights.”

"Thankyou"

Katsuki is gay.

He is very sure of that.

Sure, he could sleep with women but he’d never felt himself get hard on a woman's body the way he did for a mans.

That is until now.

Bubbly Ochako had muscles, she emerged from the changing room in a tennis skirt and a white cotton T-shirt tucked in. The lycra in her skirt hugging toned thighs, the skirt swishing with the movement of her full hips. She did all the warmup stretching without him having to guide her, this wasn’t the girls first time. He watched her attentively trying not to look as dumb as he felt when the brunette rested on the bench and started lifting.

He’d set her on the weight she’d asked, even if he himself couldn’t believe she actually could lift that much. He’d rather her be the one asking for him to remove weight than having to add to it for underestimating her.

She finished her first set without much trouble and then proceeded to get the weights of the bench and roll them away. Katssuki just stood around and watched as she sat against the bench and rolled the barbell over her hips.

“Could you hand me the towels that are on my bag please?'' She extended an expecting hand towards him and Katsuki complied, he isn’t sure what she's doing but he’s very curious. She places the towels over her hips against the barbell's pipe, she lifts her knees, grabs to the pipe with her hand and starts thrusting upward.

Katsuki’s mind of course goes straight to the gutter. He’s torn between looking away or staring at the whole set. She stops at one point, a devilish smile on her face that doesn’t match with her voice when she asks in the most angelic of tones:

“Do you mind adding more weight please?”

Of course Katsuki complies because one, it's his job, and two he has to admit he’s curious as to how much strength this woman has on her pelvis.

He stays quiet for the rest of the session, only assisting whenever she asks him to and mostly trying to stay out of her way. Little by little Ochako’s voice loses the edge it had when asking him to spot her or pass her more equipment and at one point Katsuki even musters the courage to ask where she learned the hip thrusts thing.

After she’s done changing Ochako stops by the front desk where he’s back working.

“Thanks for letting me use the equipment, I’ve been trying to since I got here but no one would let me” Katsuki could mention his position as staff supervisor and tell her he’ll make sure that doesn’t happen again. But that would mean she might not come back during his shift again, whihc means he might not get the chance to see her doing her workouts… and he did promise Deku to give her a chance.
“Don’t worry Cheeks, I work the first shifts here on weekdays and under my watch you can use anything you like”
“Thankyou” Ochako gives him a smile then looks at him quizzically  “Cheeks?”
“I don’t do names. My friends get nicknames, the rest are extras, you don’t like it too bad” Katsuki is prepared for her to make a fuss about it, instead she does something worse, she laughs.
“I like it, I like my cheeks, it fits me. Does that mean we’re friends now?” Katsuki’s heart does a thing that is supposed to be reserved exclusively for Deku.
“Well, you’ve got Deku vouching for you and anyone who can do a complete set of hip thrusting my own weight has my respect any day”
“Alright, I feel like I’ve met three versions of you today” this time Katsuki is the one smiling. Deku had been right, she was funny. And she was also strong, he could respect that but before he could agree on Deku’s idea he had to know if she was trustworthy.

“You mean the flirting? Sorry I thought you were coming for my side job here at the resort”
“What kind of side job makes you flirt with the guests here?”
“The kind that involves sex with them”

Katsuki is delighted to see the woman in front of him turn an adorable shade of red. Just like his Deku, he might have fun teasing her. He could tell she was at loss for what to answer to that so he decided on giving her a hand.

“If you’re ever interested in that I’m also willing to help”
“No!” she answers without hesitation “No thank you, the weightlifting help will do”
“You sure? I could give you a friend's discount” he starts sliding his hand over hers “Plus you’re hot so-” she immediately pulls away.
“Please stop” it’s Katsuki’s turn to be speechless “I only want your help at the gym and it would be uncomfortable if you keep… doing this when I come”
Katsuki takes a step back and nods. He had only ever been turned down like this by one other person “Sorry. Don’t worry about it. Only gym stuff then and if you don’t mind, I try to keep the  side gig discreet so since you’re not interested…”
“Oh! Don’t worry, my lips are sealed” she makes zipping motion over her mouth and smiles
“I’ll be counting on it, friend”

Ochako doesn't think she's felt this happy in a long time. The last time probably was when she got accepted to the PHD program and even then it wasn't the same happiness as right now.

"You are doing exceptionally well today miss Uraraka" miss Nemuri, the dance instructor compliments her as she walks besides Ochako and her dance partner of the day "Try to keep up Mr. Shishikura" Ochako feels the man tense up in her arms  but only nods.

Over the following days she kept running into Izuku now and then in the ressort, he’d sometimes ask her out for a stroll or even join her in some of her dance lessons. Her mother was over the moon with the relationship, altho Ochako wasn’t sure if she’d call it that. Izuku was never overly flirty, he never tried taking her hand or touching her in any inappropriate way much less kissing and his compliments never landed as romantic. He was always courteous tho and asked about her day and her classes, they went stargazing a few more times and every time Izuku tried guessing a star she felt her heart swell. Soon the complete resort was buzzing with the news of Ochako snatching the impossible bachelor Izuku right under everyone’s noses. Her mother was ecstatic at the news and even though Ochako was used to being the center of attention it was the first time the attention wasn’t a product of something negative. She was falling hard in love with Isuku but even though she’d openly talk with Mina, Momo and Tsu about him she hadn’t had the courage to call Hitoshi to tell him the news.

Part of it was because despite their time spent together Ochako could tell Izuku was still keeping his distance and her friends words rang in her head anytime the idea of a a posible relationship with him crossed her mind. What if she was just imagining things? Neither had adressed the nature of their relationship, for all she knew it could be Izuku was just being friendly, sure they had met as date prospects from their mothers but nothing else was any indication that they were actually dating.

The other part was the guilt she felt.

Guilt because despite feeling herself fall for the sweet doctor her mother had been so kind to introduce her to she was also getting a mental hard on for her unofficial gym partner.

Ochako would describe Katsuki as the complete opposite of Izuku. Where one was sweet the other was rough, where one was shy the other confident but instead of driving her away she felt attracted to these qualities in the same way, kind of when you enjoy a sweet and sour candy for its contradicting flavors.

Katsuki liked to antagonize her during their sessions, he pushed her to do better and work harder. She had started looking forward to her early morning gym sessions for more than just the workout. Katsuki’s fiery temper was contagious, she felt herself being able to let go of society's unwritten lady etiquette around him. She learned he’s been working in the resort ever since he came of age, has a small place in the city and takes modeling gigs of season, she told him about her parents' construction company, about her helping them out when she was young.

One thing that did struck her as odd was that despite everything indicating Katsuki and Izuku knew eachother, enough for Katsuki to have a nickname for the green haired man, they didn't talk about one another at all. Katsuki never asked about her dates with Izuku or Izuku asked about her training with Katsuki. It's not that they should, and she's never explicitly told them she's meeting with both of them but it's not like she's hiding it either. Everyone in the resort knows her as 'the girl who managed to bag Dr. Izuku' and according to Mina and Tsu it's 'the hottest gossip' amongst the resort staff so Katsuki _had_ to know. On the other hand Izuku was the one to point her on Katsuki's direction when she first mentionned missing her workout, she even thanked him for it a few days later and told him Katstuki was being very helpful but Izuku had only said he was happy to hear it and changed the subject to space again, in such a short time he already knows how to get her rambling.

"C'mon thunder thighs, are you really tired already?" the blond is right next to her screaming his usual gym encouragments as he checks on her.

Ochako's face is completely red as she's three reps away from her goal. She screams with frustration and tries to focus on the muscles she needs but she can't help her mind wandering to her dilema. She doesn't think she's taking advantage of them, they're just friends after all, neither of them has done anything to make her think otherwise but god she wishes they did.  Maybe she should be the one to bring up the subject? At least to Izuku, that way if he were to reject her she could be free to try her luck with Katsuki. Not that she's choosing Izuku over Katsuki but she met him first so she might as well stay with that order since she's unable to make a choice herself.

"You're doing great, your almost done"

But what if Izuku dones't reject her? Does that mean she has to stop seeing Katsuki? Izuku wouldn't be the kind of man to do that, he was the one who sent her Kat's way in the first place. Maybe _that_ was the sign he gave to tell her he isn't interested. No man would send a girl he likes straight into the arms of someone like Katsuki. The man is the closest thing to sex on a stick in the entire resort. That's another difference between the two men, she blames it in the excercice but Katsuki is way more comfortable with physical contact between them than Izuku. He's never been improper and its not like she doesn't like his hands on her, holding her legs or correcting her posture. After one particularly grueling day he'd offered her a back rub and god did the man know his way around the body. It made perfect sense of course what with his side gig.

Suddenly it dawns on her. How could she been so naive?

Izuku is setting her up with Katsuki.

Upon that realization her knees cave and she promptly falls to the floor the dumbell making a loud sound as it hits the ground. Katsuki is there next to her before she knows it.

"Cheeks! Jesus, are you alright?" Ochako grumbles as she rubs at her bottom
"Yeah yeah, I'm sorry I..."
"What the fuck happenned?" before she could answer his hnds were on her legs. It cut her off but he seemed focus on pressing and testing
"I-I..." she stares at the man as he works his way through her limbs in an almost clinical way. Izuku had great taste granted but she wished he'd been straight with her from the start about his intentions instead of just stringing her along.
"Does it hurt anywhere?" she was tempted to point at her chest but got out of her head just in time to answer coherently.
"N-no" satisfied he asked for her hands and she complied, they seemed red from where the barbel had slipped and when he pressed in a spot on her wrists she did wince. Katsuki's hands felt rough and caloused, she'd never noticed that, altho they'd never held hands before. She wonders what did Izuku's hands feel like? She'll never know of course, she's not sure how she'll bring the subject up with him, she really thought he could've been the one. Hitoshi's words worm their way into her mind again, after this many times of hearing them they stopped sounding like 'you're too good for anyone' to 'you are unlovable'.

Katsuki grimaced "this might bruise, we should put something cold on it" he finaly looks up at her and finds tears welling in her eyes and a red face "Cheeks?! The fuck?"

Ochako lets herself cry. She knows she isn't unlovable, she can't be. Katsuki despite his rude demeanor and abrassive attitude is right here for her. The way he's looking at her with genuine concern on his face, this must be what if feels like to be taken care of.

"I'm sorry! It's my time of the month and i'm a little emotional and you were being so kind to me"
"You're in your period? And you came to the gym like that?" Ochako nods
Katsuki glares at her "You should be relaxing not exerting your body" Ochako laughs as she dries the tears away.
"I didn't want to leave you waiting" she also thought she could stop thingking about Izuku for a moment
"You could've just told me once you got here" Katsuki sits down next to her
"Come all the way here just to tell you I'm not doing anything and then leave?"
"You don't have to leave" Ochako blinks "I en- " Katsuki stops mid sentence, his ears suddenly turn red and he looks at anything but her "We could just talk, or do something else"
Ochako's chest warms up almost as fast as she'd felt it break. then she remembers who she's dealing with and grins impishly as she gets closer to at his stomach "Katsuki, were you going to say you enjoy my company?"

Katsuki's hand immediately shoots out from him pushing her hard enough to make her hit the floor again.

"Shut up of course not!" Ochako explodes laughing as she lands
"Why are you so defensive?"
"I'm not!" Katsuki is completely red now and glaring at the ball of laughter next to him
"You should look in the mirror Kat, you're completely red" she says raising an eyebrow at him
Katsuki grumbles "If you're gonna be like that maybe I should take you home" he then puts one arm under her leg and grabs her arms to carry her.

The physical contact seems to do the trick for calming her down. He knows Deku's been making a point to keep it to a minimum but he's always been overly gentlemanly. It's not that big of deal anyway, he touches people all the time.

"Wh-what do you think you're doing?!"
"I told you, taking you home"

"We can't go out like this!"
"Don't worry you're the only lunatic who wakes up at the crack of dawn during her vacation"
"Put me down right now" she makes an effort to sound as stern as possible while feeling her own face heat up. Katsuki suddenly grins
"Are you going to be a good girl?"
"Kats-!" Katsuki's laughs just from looking at her expression.

Izuku's laugh is like wooden wind chimes, its mesmerizing to listen to. But Katsuki's laugh is like a roar, its big and loud and it demands to be heard. It's a lot like Katsuki she thinks. He's the kind of person who doesn't care for civility or rules or standards. Maybe Izuku had a point in trying to set them up, maybe instead of trying to mold herelf or someone else to societies standars she should embrace the chaos.

"Katsuki would you like to have dinner with me?"

Notes:

I should really delete the "porn" tag from this. There's too much plot.

Chapter Text

"What did you do?"

Is the first thing Katsuki says when Izuku steps into his car, he turns to the blond confused. "What do you mean?" Katsuki narrows his eyes at him ready to say something but then grumbles and decides not to. He starts the car and heads down the paved road they both know by heart.

"Your girlfriend asked me to dinner today" he deadpans.

"She did?!" Izuku can't contain his excitement.
"Can you try to tone it down?" Katsuki doesn't seem to share on his glee "What are you so happy about anyway?" Izuku wasn't sure himself. He loves spending time with Ochako, he's been learning so much about space thanks to her and she's easily become one of her new favorite people, and her inviting Katsuki to dinner meant that she liked him. So in a way its one person he likes aproving of his boyfriend. Yes, that's it.
"Sorry, sorry" he clears his throat "She did? Why?"
"That's what I've been trying to figure out, isnt she supposed to be dating you?" Izuku doesn't like to use the word 'date'. He's _dating_ Katsuki, he's been spending time with Ochako. He happens to enjoy both things.
"Well… I wouldn't say we are dating"
"Oh fuck off, you're going on dates. I think she's seen more of you this week than me" Izuku feels like a cold bucket is dumped over him, maybe he had gotten carried away with Ochako. It was nice rambling to a fellow nerd, not that Katsuki wasn't smart, he was supportive in a different way. But that didn't mean he had to push him away. He purses his lips and reaches for Katsukis hand.
"I'm sorry Kachan" he lifts it and starts kissing his wrist "I'll make it up to you" he says in a sultry voice. Katsuki almost misses the turn but takes back his hand just in time to drive into the hidden dirt road up towards their hill top.
"Don't-" his boyfriend wiggles in the driver seat trying to rearrange his pants "You don't get to do that right now" but Izuku doesn't miss the blush creeping up his neck.
"Alright" he raises his arms in defeat and sits back down "What did you tell her?"
Katsuki sighs "That I'd think about it. I wanted to check if it was ok with you"
"Of course its ok with me, I was the one who suggested you got to know her better"
"I know but… this is different. I can get to know her fine at the gym but this is a date" Izuku's face scrunches.
"It doesn't have to be a date. I've been having lunch with her a lot, doesn't mean it's a date"
"I assure you that's not what the entirety of my staff think and I can bet my right arm the guests would agree. You two have been spending so much time together even I have seen you around"
"You have?" Izuku doesn't like the expression on the blonds face "Yeah, two days ago, you were walking by the lake"

Oh.

 Oh

He'd been telling her about the first time Toshinori took him camping when he'd seen a rock on the floor. He'd picked it up and asked her if she knew how to make them skip, when she'd said no he showed her how by throwing one himself. She'd been delighted and asked if he would teach her. They spent a while trying to get her to skip and then competeing to see who could make it go further. Katsuki had shown him how to do that when they were kids.

"You looked happy" they arrive at the top of the hill and Katsuki silently steps out, Izuku follows hurriedly behind him.

He had been happy, he has been happy spending time with Ochako, the kind of happiness that he's only ever felt with Katsuki but that's only because the more he realizes how compatible she is with them the closer he feels a future living with Katsuki is posible.

"Kachan you know I love you, you're the one I want to spend the rest of my life with" he rounds the car and walks the way to meet his Boyfriend "we're doing this so we can finally be together"
"Yeah I fucking know" he pulls out a cigarrete and lights it "I'm not angry because you're with her" he takes a drag "I'm angry because you can"
"Kachan..."
"I know you started this with one idea but honestly" he fidgets with the lighter in his hands, the last time Izuku remembers seeing him like this was right before their first kiss so many summers back. He suspects what Katsuki is about to say, it's like he can hear it before he opens his mouth "I wouldn't blame you if-" without warning he pulls at his shirt and in a second Izuku's lips are on his.

They've kissed in this hill countless times in previous years but everytime it feels like the first. Surrounded by nothing in the dead of night, just the two of them and the stars. Izuku finally steps back to take a breath and looks into red glazed over eyes "I love you" he knows he's said it a thousand times but it seems Katsuki still won't believe it "And I know you love me because if you didn't you wouldn't be saying stuff like that. The Kachan I know would make Ochako's life miserable from just looking my way before stepping back and letting her take your place. I am not replacing you." the blond grins and pulls him in for another kiss.

"Just for the record, I was planning to" Izuku places his head in the crook of Katsuki's neck.
"What?"
"Make it hard for her. I love you but I wasn't planning on listening to you at all"
"But now she's asked you to dinner" he feels him take a deep breath and sigh
"Yeah" Izuku quirks an eyebrow at him, Katsuki is not a people person, he's never been. Ochako asking him to dinner means they must be getting along well enough which means Katsuki is being civil, Katsuki is only civil to people he likes.
"She's great right?" Izuku asks
"She's..."
"Funny?" a shrug
"A bit"
"Smart?" a scoff
"Yeah"
"Kind?"
"Kind?!" Katsuki almost pulls back so Izuku lifts his head from its resting spot to look at the blond "She's never been kind to me!" Izuku smiles knowingly
"You probably tease her too much to deserve it"
"Hey! She gives as much as she gets, alright? Don't think just because she's pretty and cute she can't hold her own" Izuku can't help laughing
"You think she's pretty?" Kachan goes stiff under him but Izuku only finds it adorable "It's alright, she is. Makes you wonder right?"
"About what?" Katsuki's brow furrows
"How she's single" the blond shrugs
"I thought you would've figured that out by now, with how much time you spend together and how much of a nerd you are"
"I have an idea but it would be really rude to ask her directly. I've tried focusing on the important things to us, like what she likes, her hobbies, future projects and such. So far we can line up everything with us, the house I was looking for has a beautiful attic with a skylight that I think sh-"
"Deku..." he cuts him off softly. He was rambling again
"Sorry, I get excited. I'm really just waiting for your approval before talking to her about it" Katsuki sighs
"I'll have dinner with her, then we can talk"
"Great" Izuku then slides his hands towards his boyfriends trousers "Now that that's decided"

Izuku knows his boyfriend like the back of his hand. Kachan may know how to get someone riled up fast but Izuku knows _him_. Red eyes follow him as they take steps back until Katsuki is pressed againts the car.
"Are you actually horny right now?" he asks as Izuku slides down and kneels in front of him. Even with the dim light he can see him through his pants.
"Like you're not" he makes quick work of his belt and immediately his boyfriend's dick comes to life. He takes it with one hand and the other slides under Katsuki's shirt "I owe you a good time after all, Kachan~" he then licks the shaft, green eyes never straying from red. Rough hands are immediately pulling in green curls, Izuku knows exactly what buttons to push and he smiles lovingly up at his boyfriend as he keeps liking and kissing the shaft while his hand pumps it "Have I told you how much I love your dick?" Katsuki trembles under him but musters a proud grin.
"Yeah? How much?" the car creaks as Katsuki leans his weigh on it to keep himself standing.
"So much. I love how long it is, I love the imperfect veins in it" he enfasizes it kissing each one "and I love how good it feels when it's inside me" he feels precum spurting from the tip and only then does he look away to give his full attention to Katsuki's dick. He loves listening to the blond try to stiffle his moans as he starts sucking at a painfully slow pace. He's not gonna make him cum just from this, that's not how Katsuki likes it. With Katsuki its all about making the moment last, he licks and sucks and twirls his tongue around the shaft in the patterns he knows drive him crazy.

With a pop he takes Katsuki out of his mouth just as he felt his breathing getting faster. Anyone else would scream in frustration but not Katsuki. Izuku stares mesmerized at the sight of his boyfriend, shirt disheveled and sweat coating his face, his chest rising and falling to a slow rythm. Izuku knows he's trying to calm himself down.

"What are you looking at nerd?" Izuku smiles
"The stars are beautiful tonight" Katsuki scoffs and runs a hand through green locks to caress his boyfriend's face lovingly
"Yeah they are..." he runs his thumb over Izuku's full swollen lips "get up here so I can fuck you already"

Izuku raises and eyebrow but complies. They start undressing and at one point Katsuki runs to turn on the car's radio to their favorite station. Izuku gigles "You're so corny"

In no time they're up against the car's windshield kissing and grinding as if they were still horny teenagers in their first escapade.

"Put it in" Izuku starts moaning after Katsuki nips at his neck and grabs at his chest "Put it in already"
Katsuki laughs devilishly "Gee, I'm not half as demanding as you" Izuku slams him against the windshield and positions himself over him.
"I don't take half as long" he lowers himself and Katsuki shudders as his sensitive cock enters Izuku. Izuku forces himself to take a slow pace, if it were up to him he'd be bent over the car but they can do that another time, this is for Katsuki after all.

Izuku relishes in the way Ketsuki's eyes fall back, the blond appears to have a permanent scowl on his face but when they're together like this there's no room for it. He loves this side of Kachan, the one where he is completely lost in himself, no thoughts, just pleasure.

Ochako is mortified. In the span of the day she's succesfully convinced herself that 'I'll think about it' is Katsuki's polite way of turning her down. She's not going back to the gym. What was she thinking asking him out on a date? She is a woman 'men like to be the hunters Ochako' is what her mother always said so why had she thought it would be a good idea?

It had been a spur of the moment desicion, Katsuki had been carrying her in his arms,  she'd finally uncovered Izuku's plan. Hormones!

With a groan she submerges herself in the bubble bath.

Her date with Katsuki didn't even need to end in a formal relationship, it just seemed like he cared about her for a moment and, maybe it was also the moment they shared but she really wanted to feel his arms wrapped around her again. His strong toned arms. His caloused rough hands touching her legs in a different context. Would he be as gentle touching her that way as he was today? No, she think's he's the rough type, the kind of man that squeezes and grabs. Without thinking her hands find their respective spots in her body as she rests her head in the edge of the tub.

He'd carry her to the bed she thinks, maybe even rip her clothes.

Are you going to be a good girl?

She pinches one of her nipples and mufles a moan as she imagines him looming over her, taunting. She'd never let someone manhandle her but she'd let him give it a try. He'd hold her chin as he kissed and bit her neck, caloused hands squeezing her breasts. Could she take him? Yeah, she thinks she could. She slips one finger, then another and imagines its him, rough, big, erratic, pounding into her. She winces and stops herself. Maybe too rough isn't what she's looking for, she also wants a bit of sweet. Like Izuku.

Izuku would be careful, he would kiss deeply and whisper in her ear. She can picture his hands roaming her hips and thighs all the way to her core. He'd have one hand in her and the other along with his mouth on her breasts, sucking and licking. She imagines his slow motions, him taking his time playing with her, being meticoulous. She starts moving slowly, proding inside her looking for the spot she knows. But after some time of not being able to hit it she becomes impatient and stops again.

Frustrated and upset she gives up. Fuck those two if they couldn't even get her off in her fantasy. She gets out of the tub and starts getting ready for bed. If neither of them is interested in her its fine, she was alone when she arrived and she could very well leave that way.

Ochako doesn’t show up the next day at the gym. Katsuki finds himself waiting for her even after his shift is done. He subconsciously turns to the door everytime he hears it open, hoping to see the bob of brown hair walk in and apologizing profoundly for being late and making him wait.

No such thing happens.

The other members of staff take notice tho and it's only when one of them teases him about it that he decides it’s time to check up on the life saver position on the other side of the resort.

She doesn’t show up the day after that either and it irks him. Enough for him to ask Deku about it when they meet up at night in his apartement.

"I haven't seen her either, I went to the dance workshop today but she wasn't there"

He’s not used to missing people that aren’t Deku. To that he’s gotten used to, and its not a sensation he particularly likes so this new thing is not something he apreciates. He loves Deku, he has no doubt about that and that's why he misses him when he's not there but missing Ochako? The sensation confuses him and he doesn't dare talk to Deku about it, he loves Deku and no one else. He blames it on her. Just two days ago she'd said she wouldn't want to leave him waiting and now that is exactly what shes chosing to do.

After the third day of absence he storms out of the gym looking for her.

He finds her sitting in one of the picnic tables outside the dining salon. He can’t help noticing she’s wearing a very flattering outfit that makes him stop on his tracks. He is now realizing he's never actually seen her up close withour her being sweaty and mesy from excercising. Her hair is held up with a yellow bow and her lips are painted a faint red, navy blue shorts that hug her toned legs and a sunflower print halter top that is doing its best at holding her ample chest that Katsuki had never felt more aware of.

He gulps. He isn’t sure what he is but it can’t be gay.

It didn't look like she was having a particularly fun time but when she catches sight of him she looks like a deer in headlights and he half expects her to scurry off somewhere.

“Hey” he greets her crossing his arms over his chest as he stops in front of her
“Hi…” the smile she gives doesn’t reach her eyes
“I’ve been waiting for you at the gym” he deadpans
“I’ve been busy...” she looks to be struggling to keep eye contact
“Really? And here I thought you were just avoiding me” she purses her lips and seems to be debating something in her head "About dinner-"
"Please dont say it" Ochako interrupts him "Honestly I feel really embarrased I even-"
"Why? you didn't do anything wrong-"
"But you're not interested! And I thought it would be awkward and best if I-"
"Who said I'm not interested? I said I would think about it and-"

“Hey! What's going on here?”

Off to the side, with two plates in hand stands Deku himself.

“Deku”
“Hi Kachan! I haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?” Deku had fucked him into a pillow the evening before.
“Good… sorry man. I was just checking in with Ochacko about gym stuff”
“Oh, I thought you were talking about dinner” if Katsuki had thought Ochako looked like a deer in headlights before the woman was at another level of panic now.

“You know about dinner?” Ochako asks breaking her frozen spell. Katsuki throws Deku a look, he's always had a big mouth.

"Yeah... we ran into each other that day and I might have mentionned it" Deku is not a good liar and Ochako has a Phd.
"I thought you hadn't seen eachother in a while"

It is the longest second Katsuki has ever felt before Deku speaks up again.

“A lot can happen in between days so it feels like a lot of time. Katsuki is a great cook! Has he told you he’s banned from working on the dinner because he’s too demanding?” Ochako turns to Katsuki again looking less panicked but still distracted enough with the both of them to let the weak excuse slide.
“Umm… no”
“Best meal you’ll have in your life” Deku sets the plates down then “I’ll go get us something to drink. You two decide time and place while I'm gone" and with that he disappears, succesfully leaving Katsuki to adress the magnificent way he put his foot in his mouth.

Ochako and Katsuki stare at his retreating back and then at each other, Ochako seems to have gotten herself completely under control now that she only has to deal with one of the two “So you cook?”
Katsuki sighs “Yes, started out as a hobby but I just really apreciate a quality meal.”
“I would love to try some, if anything to check if its true at all” Katsuki scoffs, feeling himself fall into their familiar banter.
“What, you think I can’t cook?” Ochako smiles the sly smile he knows means she's about to dare him
“Gym trainer, model and now cook? Sorry but you can’t possibly be all those things”
“What can I say, I’m just that great” Ochako then seems ot falter, she bites her lip and looses her edge.
"Does that mean you accept my invitation to dinner?" Katsuki gulps "Altho if you're the one cooking I guess its you inviting me to dinner so its really your-"
"Cheeks" he stops her rambling "Yeah I want to have dinner with you"

Ochako isn’t sure what Izuku was thinking, setting her up like that with his friend. His extremely attractive friend. Honestly, Ochako was this close to having a melt down when both of them were standing in front of her. Her mind immediately trying to compare them and decide on one. And the way they talked to each other, Izuku had mentioned he was friends with Katsuki but it sounded like they knew each other from a long time, then again they had both said they’d started coming here very young. Maybe childhood friends? But wouldn’t they be closer then? Neither of them mentions the other when they’re alone with her and the ‘long time no see’ comment meant they didn’t see each other much during the season but the nicknames, and the fact that Izuku knows about Katsuki’s cooking. Seemed like a personal thing. These thoughts are what acompany her on her way to Katsuki's place in the resort.

Katsuki, contrary to what she thought, doesn’t live in the staff camping grounds. He has a small apartment rented out for himself. When he opens the door for her the inside already smells heavenly.

“Come in, its almost ready”

He’s not wearing a staff uniform or gym clothes, he’s dressed in jeans and a fitted cotton white shirt that does wonders to accentuate his muscles. The apartment is clean, has a small living room, bathroom, a door that she assumes leeds to the bedroom and a kitchen at the far end with a small table already set.

“Do you need help with anything?” She looks from the kitchen entrance at the stove with boiling water, some sauces and meat in a pan.
“No need, you just sit right there and I’ll be out in a sec”

True to his words he came out holding two five-star-restaurant worthy looking plates. Along with a half full bottle of wine. He sets the plates down, pours Ochako a glass and refills his. Ochako wonders of he'd been nervous about tonight  and resorted to liquid courage.

“That looks amazing” she compliments. Ochako was genuinely surprised, in her home her dad was banned from the kitchen and she hadn't heard of any male friends who knew how to cook as a hobby.
“Of course it does, wait till you taste it” she giggled at his confidence, it was one of the things she loved about him. She grabs her fork and takes a bite of the dish. She feels her tastebuds immediately explode with flavor and can't hold the moan back.
“Katsuki this is delicious!” she exclaims taking another bite “you really can cook!” she waits for the quippy come back from him as she savors the food in her mouth but it never comes. When she looks up check on him Katsuki is staring at her with an unreadable expression “Is everything ok?” he starts clearing his throat and nods.
“Yes, yes. Sorry, I got distracted. I’m glad you liked it” she doesn't miss the red of his ears, he must've been nervouse about her liking his food, specially after Izuku gave him such high praise.

throughout the meal she asks him how he got into cooking, he explains his parents didn't have much time to cook at home so he started using the kitchen as his own playground. Whe he found out he could do tasty things in it there was no taking him away from that. She asks him about pursuing a culinary career and he says he doeasnt want his hobby to become work. She exchanges nightmare tales of the few times his father burned down the kitchen and they both laugh. By the time they finish eating they're already in their second bottle of wine.

“Deku was right, this is the best meal I’ve had in my life”
“Deku?”
“Oh" she covers her mouth and internally blames the alcohol for her slip "Sorry, I guess you're rubbing off on me, Izuku did mention once that only you’re allowed to call him that” Katsui purses his lips
“It’s ok, if you two are going to continue to date then you can use it” to this Ochako turns somber and takes a last sip of her glass beffore asking Katsuki for a refill
“Well if I’m being honest, I don’t think Izuku is planning to continue this relationship”
“What? Why do you think that?”
She knows its not right to complain about Izuku to his friend, specially after he set them both up and the friend made such a nice dinner but she's been needing to talk this out with someone “He’s a great boyfriend Katsuki" she starts "he does everything right but he’s always kept a certain distance, he won't even hold my hand and… well I’ll be heading back to the city soon and we haven’t even talked about what will happen once the season is over” Ochako takes a sip of the wine “And then today, he was practically pushing to set us up. It's clear he’s too sweet to leave me hanging after a whole month so he’s looking for his replacement” at this Katsuki chokes getting her attention.
“Ochako, I can assure you that's not the case. Deku isn’t planning on leaving you he’s just always been that kind of guy. He’s not use to taking the initiative on any kind of physical contact, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t like you”
“I’d never thought about that”
“He does like you, I mean you're smart, strong, funny, you’re independent, you speak your mind. You think I don’t know what women say around him? Saying he’s a catch and all that? You’re a catch too Cheeks”
“You think I'm a catch?” Katsuki seems to be struggling with his words again, she takes another sip “You know, before coming here a friend of mine said I would never find someone worthy of me. Said I was too proud to settle for someone who wasn’t and so I would end up all alone”
“Cheeks, you know that’s bullshit right?”
“I thought it was, Izuku came along and was proving me right but now I’m not sure anymore. I’m afraid if things don’t turn out well with Izuku then I’ll end up changing myself for the sake of not ending up alone. Is it really too much to ask? For someone who can love me just the way I am?” Katsuki instinctively takes her hand in his.
“Don’t even consider that cheeks, even if Deku isn’t the right fit for you it doesn’t mean no one else will come along” Ochako stares at their hands together. It feels nice and maybe its the wine in her system but she really wants to kiss him, because if Deku doesn't want her then he must, right? But maybe it _is_ the alcohol talking. She looks up from their joinned hands ready to excuse herself when she finds Katsuki's red eyes looking at her in a way she'd never seen anyone look at her.

Katsuki is for sure very drunk, and after hearing what Ochako's supposed friend said he is also angry which is never a good combination on him.
"Did you really mean that?" she asks
"What?"
"What you said, about me being smart and funny and… all that"
"Of course"
"And you like those things about me?"
"Fuck yeah I do"
"And you would like to be in a relationship with me"

Just like that he's brought back to reality. He doesn't like the answer that came up in his head, it's not right. He sits upright again and Ochako visibly deflates.

"I… I-"
"Don't worry, I get it" she suddenly starts getting up and he hopes its the wine that made him imagine her voice breaking.
"Ochako!" he tries getting up himself but he's been drinking way more than her and the chaos in his heart is not making things better for him. Before he can stop her she's already in her way to the door.
"Please, wait, let me explain its not-"
“Thankyou for dinner Katsuki, but I think I should go” and with that she's out the door.

Katsuki paces around his apartment reviewing everything Ochako told him in his mind. He starts filling his stomach with water to sober up while he waits anxiously for midnightand then leaves his apartment. He picks up pebbles along the way rehearsing in his head what he will tell him. He stops in front of the Toshinori cabin and with practiced aim starts hitting Deku’s window. It doesn’t take long for the room light to turn on and off in their agreed pattern and so he walks further away to their agreed meeting spot and waits.

A few moments later Deku is there
“What are you doing here? Don't you have a date with Ochako? Is everything ok?”
“We can’t go through with this” that's a great start, his boyfriends half asleep mind takes a moment to register what he said.
“What? Through with what?”
“Ochako. We can’t do this to her, we would be robbing her of her own love life”
Deku shakes his head in confusion “What are you talking about?” Bakugou repeats what Ochako him, the way meeting Deku had lifted her hopes and how she felt now
“I see...”
“She wants her own love story, Deku. She deserves to find someone who will care and cherish her like she deserves. Not the loveless mess we’re getting her into”
Deku falls silent. After a moment he starts pacing. Katsuki stares, thsi is his way fo thinking, he's looking for a way to fix it but Katsuki knows there isn't one and he hasn't even told him about the other issue. After a while he stops him on his tracks “Why are you thinking so much about this? You know what the right choice is. We’ll find another way for us but we have to leave her alone”
“What if it's not about us?” Deku seems wide awake now
“What do you mean?”
“I mean, her friend is right. She’s too good for just any man. What if she does end up having to settle? Having to change for someone else? We can’t let her do that Kachan, she’s perfect just the way she is. What if we took care of her and love her and give her anything she needs? She won't need any other man to fullfill any outdated romantic thing she thinks she wants. We are enough. I know I can make her happy and I know you can make her happy too and-”
“You love her” it half comes out as an accusation and half a realization of his own.

Of course Deku would fall for her. Who wouldn’t? She’s everything he said and more. She’d be a perfect fit for him, sweet, funny, determined, hard working, sexy even. It was a fucking miracle she’s still single. Their own little miracle.

“Kachan it’s not like that” Deku sounds mortified. Katsuki wants to tell him to shut up “Katsuki please, don’t take this the wrong way, you know what Ochako and I have is fake-” Deku never uses his name unless its serious and he can't help scoffing. Fake his ass, he’s seen Deku fake laughs and smiles for other women, Katsuki is the only one that gets all his genuine smiles. Well, not the only one anymore. He shares the spot with Cheeks now, but he couldn’t blame Deku. Cheeks is a delight to be around, her smiles remind him so much of Deku’s, they have the same childish sense of humor and he gets the same warm and fuzzy feeling whenever she jumps excited after finishing a set at the gym. When he got to cook for her, the way she puffs her cheeks to sabor his food, it makes his heart make a summersault and when she asked if he'd want to be in a relationship with her the obvious answer was yes. He'd love to cook for her and hold her just like he wants to for Deku.

"-was a stupid plan I'll look for something differente, I'm so sorry K-"

“I’m not taking it the wrong way Deku!" he screams and takes hold of his boyfriend's hands that are clenched in his shirt "I get it” his voice is softer, it only makes Izuku more scared “I get why you feel that way” he laughs at the irony of the whole situation before confessing to the man who has single handedly held his heart for as long as he can remember that he isn't the only one anymore.

“I feel the same way too”

They both stare at each other for a long time, not saying anything. Thinking what this could mean for their relationship.

“What about us?” Deku is the first to ask
“I still love you, as much as I've always loved you” he takes one of his hands and gives it a small kiss “And I know you love me too, it just turns out we have more love to give” Deku sighs
"Well we knew I did, the real surprise is you do" Katsuki grins glad they're already making jokes about it.
“Well, I guess we’re getting our first girlfriend then”
“I’m sure our mother’s will be thrilled”
“One problem at a time Deku”

Chapter Text

Rays of sunlight filter into the small room, in the Uraraka cabin, where Ochako lays in the still made bed, red floral print dress still on from the night before, makeup smeared; although she won't notice that last thing until she looks in the bathroom's mirror, if and when she decides to get up and start her day.

She is awake, she has been way before sunrise, her morning habits never giving her a days rest. But she's decided not to go to the gym because, despite waking up early, she did go to sleep quite late; what with all the crying and questioning her life choices. That, and the other obvious reason. She curls up in a ball again as she rolls from one side of the bed to the other, the puffy skirt made for an uncomfortable nightgown but whenever she'd though about changing she just couldn't bare to think of looking at her body, a body that had made her proud so many times before, a body that she loved so much.

Katsuki hadn't said anything about her body during the date, well he did call her 'a catch' maybe implying he found her attractive but all that went to shit shortly after so who knows. He hadn't said anything negative about her body literally, the self body shaming was just one of the many branches that stemmed from her nit picking every single interaction she's had with men through her life which was prompted from Katsuki rejecting her.

It was messy in her mind this morning. She hated how being a career woman had driven away men, so she hated her career, but she loved her career and was looking forward to finishing her PHD article with Dr. Aizawa, so she hated herself for hating her career. She hated the way men would pick and prod at her muscles and fat, so she hated her body, but she loved her body, she'd worked hard on it, so she hated herself for hating her body. She hated her inability to shut up, she should be more meek and polite, but she hated it when people talked down on her, so she hated herself for wanting to be meek and polite. She hated herself for wanting to please men. She hated herself for wanting to be wanted.

But she just wanted to be wanted.

She was sure she'd gotten over these insecurities after years of being on her own. She didn't think she needed to have life partner, she doesn't remember ever wanting one this badly. But maybe it was because she'd never allowed herself to think she could. Of course she had a few crushes growing up, and it's not like she's never had a boyfriend, it's just at one point she had to chose between that and her passion. She'd been young, and with the experience she'd had with men back then the choice was obvious but now...

A knock on the door interrupts her thoughts.

"Ochako?" It's her dad. "Are you in there?"

As if possessed Ochako springs from her bed with renewed energy and starts changing into her night clothes, all her concerns forgotten for the moment and replaced with the dread of her parents questioning why she slept with her date dress and makeup on.

"Yes dad!", she says stuffing the dress inside the room's closet and wiping her makeup with the nearest sock as best she can, "I decided to sleep in for once."

"Is everything ok sweetheart?". For a moment she stops, fearing that they know. They're already concerned for her future, her mom was the one who set her up with Deku to begin with and her father might respect her enough to not make any comments but that doesn't mean she can't see the worry lines show whenever the subject of marriage is brought up. She'd gotten their hopes up with Deku. She didn't want to break their hearts just yet. "I saw your gym bag downstairs..."

Ochako chuckles bitterly to herself. Give it to her dad to notice the small things. "Everything's fine dad, I had a late night. That's all", she said it in the steadiest voice possible as she finished wiping enough of her makeup off and heads to open the door. Her dad is on the other side, already set for the day and concern written on his face, "I'll be down in a minute for family breakfast."

Her father smiles at her, seemingly satisfied. "Alrighty then."

She watches him leave down the stairs and the moment he's out of her sight her smile drops, heaving a silent big sigh. "I guess it's time to start the day," she mumbles.

In a different cabin, on the older side of the resort, Izuku is also having family breakfast. He is usually attentive to any and all conversations he shares with his parents, he loves them dearly and cherishes the time he gets to spend together.

"Izuku?" his mother's voice finally gets through to him.

"Huh?" both of his parents stare intently at him.

"Everything alright young Midoriya?" his father asks with a raised eyebrow.

"You haven't touched your food honey" his mother adds. He looks down at the plate, his mother always outdoes herself with her cooking.

"I'm sorry, I just have some things in my mind."

Toshinori and his mother exchange a look, then to his utter horror Toshinori says "Is it about miss Uraraka?"

Izuku doesn't have a good poker face when it comes to his parents, never had, it's one of the many reasons Katsuki has refused to marry him for many years. Izuku holds up one single lie to his parents, his homosexuality, and that takes all of his efforts. He knows he's turned a shade darker of red by now so he doesn't even bother hiding it "Yeah..."

His mother squeals delighted. "Oh isn't she lovely?" Izuku nods.

"Yeah, she's great."

"I told you it was a good idea." His mother elbows Toshinori. "When her mother told me about her in the salon I just knew she was the good one."

Izuku chuckles, he's sure his mother has thought that about every woman she sends his way but he's not about to correct her. "What was it that told you?"

"Oh I was just complaining to Mrs. Aoyama about you rejecting all of my candidates 'all lovely girls from good families' I said, and then I told her what you told me," she turns to her husband, "Do you remember what he told me?"

The man nods chuckling. "Yes, I do."

Izuku laughs, he remembers too. "Someone interesting, someone unique, someone weird," they all say in unison.

At the time he said that he was being honest. He hadn't started his job at Mustafu General, he was in his last year of med school and starting to wonder about his future in a more serious manner. Part of that was thinking about a life partner, and of course he loved Katsuki but when he looked around at his peers in school and his father's friends from the hospital he could tell what they had with their girlfriends and wives was not what him and Katsuki did for two months a year.

"That was so long ago," he said "I'm surprised you remember my exact words." It had been the one and only time in his life that he'd taken his mother's matchmaking endeavors seriously.

"Of course I do! Those are the only conditions you've ever set." She huffs. "And it hasn't been easy finding women who meet them. Which is why when Mrs. Uraraka practically jumped from her seat a few chairs down from where I was saying 'Weird?! I've got the perfect girl for him' I just had to take my chances." It's ironic now, years later, after he realized it was easier to fight for his relationship with Katsuki than against it, that the conditions he gave have finally been met on Ochako. He wonders... if he'd met Ochako back then, would he have given up on Katsuki? Would he have realized he could have feelings for both just like he has now? Would he be anxious about speaking to Katsuki about it as he is now to speak with Ochako?

"Young Midoriya." His father's voice snaps him back to attention. "Are you happy with Miss Uraraka?"

"Yes, of course." Izuku answers without missing a beat.

"That's good." His father smiles warmly before he gives him a concerned look "Then what is troubling you?"

Izuku purses his lips. What is exactly troubling him, he can't share. His mother would probably have a hear attack if she heard the words 'I'm nervous about telling Ochako that my boyfriend and me want her to be our girlfriend' come out of his mouth. So instead he says, "I'm not sure she'll be happy with me."

His mother coos and his father nods "Do you love her?" Two heads of green hair snap in alarm to the older man.

"Toshinori!"

"I-I-..." the night before, when Katsuki had accused him of it he'd been quick to deny it despite the bad after taste it left in his mouth but now. He knows love can mean something different for everyone. To him, love is what he feels for Katsuki. The need to be close to him as much as possible, the joy of sharing as much of his life with him as he can, the satisfaction from making him happy.

"It's been a little over a month"

"Well, I knew after one appointment"

"Yes, and I made you wait. Izuku probably needs more time."

"I do." He meets both of his parents eyes, a confident look on his face "I do love her."

His mothers hands go to her mouth trying to try and hide the grin that had spread in her face. His father crosses his arms over his chest proud. "Then you shouldn't be concerned about her not being happy with you, knowing you, you will do whatever it takes to make her happy."

The cabin under the Uraraka name is one of the cheaper models in their roster. Mind you, it's not a cheap cabin, nothing in their resort is cheap, but Katsuki remembers Ochako telling him about her parents saving up for it and how they were a recent money kind of family. He doesn't remember off the top of his head who were the previous owners but he's sure if he could sit and think about it for some time it would come to him. But he doesn't have the time.

He is currently standing in the Uraraka cabin's porch, mustering up the courage to knock on the screen door. What is he going to say? He's not sure. Is Ochako even at the cabin? She didn't go to the gym in the morning but it's almost noon and there are a million other things to do in the resort besides going to the gym to put up with the guy that had rejected her the night before.

A combination between a growl and a sigh leave his throat before his knuckles knock on the door. Was that too hard? He's not sure, he's not used to knocking on doors, he usually barges right in. It's only after he sees the door opening that he remembers he still doesn't know what he's going to tell her.

A short man greets him, "Hello," the man lifts an eyebrow at him, then he catches sigh of resort uniform Katsuki is wearing "Are we needed for something?"

He might not know what to tell her but at least he knows he has to see her for that "Hi, no sorry. I'm looking for Ochako." The man's round eyes become somewhat sharper.

"Who is it dear?" a voice comes from inside. Katsuki could only assume it was Ochako's mother.

"A young man looking for Ochako," the man, who can only be Mr. Uraraka, calls back. Then to Katsuki he says, "How do you know my daughter?"

Katsuki hears footsteps approaching and Mr. Uraraka making no sign of wanting to call his daughter so he decides this was not a good idea. "If she's not here, I'll look for her around the resort. Sorry to bother-"

"I didn't say she wasn't here." Katsuki is a good head taller than this man, most men that short would cower before him but this man was making Katsuki squirm. Oh so this is where Ochako got her spunk.

"Ochako! Izuku is here!" Mrs. Uraraka calls before opening the door the rest of the way and realizing her mistake. "Oh! I'm sorry, I thought..." rose cheeks like Ochako's start turning red in embarrassment.

"It's ok," he reassured her. "My name is Katsuki Bakugou," he says to both.

"Bakugou?" Mrs. Uraraka echoes but before she can say anything else Ochako comes running down the stairs.

"Katsuki?"

"Ochako!" He can't see it but Mr. Uraraka takes special note on how Katsuki's face lights up the moment his daughter appears.

"Ochako, why didn't you mention you were friends with Katsuki Bakugou?" Mrs. Uraraka directs to Ochako. It dawns then and there that Ochako doesn't know about his mother owning the resort, her mother does seem to know though, judging by her reaction to his name.

Ochako seems barely registering that Katsuki is there, in her front door "I... it didn't seem important? He's my trainer at the gym." She shakes her head and steps in front of both her parents. Katsuki catches how Mrs. Uraraka's eyes go wide behind Ochako's back. He can just picture the conversation that awaits Ochako after he leaves. "What are you doing here?"

"I want to talk to you," his eyes shift behind her and he tries whispering as best as he can, "in private?"

Mrs. Uraraka catches it and immediately pulls her husband and herself inside "Of course! Take your time kids, Why don't you go for a walk? Ochako's been cooped up in her room all morning." Ochako starts protesting but her mother carries on. "Some fresh air will do you good!"

And just like that they are both outside, cabin door closed behind them, blazing midday sun shinning down on their faces.

Next to him Ochako sighs. "She didn't even let me get my hat and sunglasses" she mumbles crossing her arms. Katsuki can't help chuckling at how adorable she looks with a pout.

"Sorry about that," he says, "I know a shaded area around here where we can talk. You won't need your hat and glasses."

Ochako purses her lips and nods "Lead the way."

The walk is silent from both of them. He doesn't expect her to chatter at him like in the gym, he knows she must be, at least, offended by him. It's on him to make amends this time. They had agreed with Deku to tell her together. Deku, in complete Deku fashion, wants to make a grand gesture of it. He's not completely against the idea but a grand gesture takes time to prepare and if Deku gets to take Ochako out in dates then he wants to be romantic boyfriend too. But first, he has to get her to forgive him.

He's not good at apologizing, he knows this, one of the many gifts he inherited from his mother. One way to solve it was to not give people reasons to want apologies, which meant anything and everything he did needed to be perfect. Down from his schoolwork up to how he managed his staff, even as a model he took extensive care of himself and the way he presented himself. It didn't mean he was a pushover, people who thought he was an asshole thought so because they had fucked something up and he'd called them out on it.

Katsuki's bottom line was, he didn't fucked shit up so he didn't have to apologize.

Except when he did. Like now.

The shaded area in question was part of a stretch of wooded land near the lake. It wasn't set for resort vacationers to visit, there was no paved track to use but he knew Ochako wouldn't mind. Once they're a good distance away from any of the resort's main areas he stops and motions for her to take a seat in a patch of grass in a small hill that overlooked the lake.

Ochako Obliged and adjusted her skirt around her legs. "This a nice spot," she complimented.

"Thank you," he looks at her take in their surroundings, "I used to come here when I was a kid, I'd run down this hill," he points from a place further away from them and then towards the lake, "and jump."

"You came here when you were a kid?"

"Before I started working yeah, my mom... owns this place" Ochako's eyebrows shoot upwards.

"So that would explain why my mom was acting that way after hearing your name." Katsuki nods. "Is that what you brought me here for?" Her tone is measured. "You wanted to tell me you're rich so I forgive you for last night?"

"What? No!" He takes a deep breath. Ochako looks at him, expectantly. "I just didn't want you to find out from your mom, I thought it was a good... before I..." he really sucks at apologies. He's only ever apologized to one person before, and that was Deku. He's starting to see a pattern here and he's not particularly pleased about it.

"I'm sorry," he finally croaks out.

A silence follows.

He wants to say more, he feels like he should say more. What is he sorry about? For rejecting her? Yes, but he had Deku to be worried about, it wasn't his fault that the nerd hadn't been clear about what was on the table with her. No. He was sorry for making her feel sad. Why was she sad? She'd opened up about her insecurities and he'd given her hope and then cut it down all in a single moment.

"Well, that must've taken all of your strength," she says, then after a moment starts getting up. "If that's all the-"

A hand shoots out to take hers. "I do want to!"

Ochako's expression is frozen. "W-What?" she says in a whisper.

Katsuki gently pulls for her to sit down again and once she does he doesn't let go of her hand. "What you asked, last night" he says, "I do want to Ochako, I do want you." He tries to read her expression, find any kind of answer in her eyes but she's unreadable for a second, until her eyes become sharp again.

"Why didn't you say that last night?" She hasn't taken her hand away from his and he savors the way her fingers feel touching his. He knows why he didn't speak up the night before, and he thinks he can be honest with her about that.

"Deku." Ochako closes her eyes and lets out a seething breath.

"I told you, Deku doesn't want to be with me." Katsuki can't help chuckling leaving Ochako perplexed.

"You're wrong Ochako"

"Why are you so sure?"

"Because he told me last night"

"You went to talk to him?"

"You left crying Ochako, I knew I needed to make things right with you I just didn't know how without talking with him first"

"You hold his opinion in a very high standard for someone you never talk about." Did he not talk about Deku? No, he suppose he didn't, he'd gotten used to dismiss him as a subject of conversation whenever anyone brought him up around him. He was scared if he started talking about him he might slip up. But he couldn't say that to Ochako, at least not yet. He could say he didn't want to suffocate her with Deku talk during her gym practice but that would be a lie and he wasn't keen on telling more lies so close to both of them coming clean to her.

"I've known him since we were kids, he's my best friend." That wasn't a lie, Deku is his best friend.

"So." She takes her hand away to massage her temples. "Let me get this straight," she says "you came here today, to tell the girl your best friend told you he is interested in, to tell her, that you too are interested in her."

"I came here," he starts correcting her, "to apologize."

"Yes, and in the process you told me you do want a relationship with me, and five seconds later you said Deku wants too."

Katsuki blinks. He purses his lips as Ochako makes her excellent point. And here he thought he was being very eloquent. "Fuck," he says it with such finality that even Ochako seems to find it amusing. Her laughter softens the blow his ego just took.

"You know this morning I was having a crisis over both of you not having the balls to reject me properly and how Shinsou was right about me never finding someone to spend my life with and now here you are," she motions at Katsuki who is openly staring at her rambling, "with, what probably is, the most bizarre love confession I've ever heard. Not that I've heard many towards myself but the books always made them look more romantic and dramatic although I guess this one was dramatic if any-" without a warning Katsuki pushes her to the ground. She wanted romantic? He could do romantic. In a single movement he's on top of her, hands on each side of her face.

"Can I kiss you?"

Brown eyes are captured by red. Katsuki has touched her body many many times at the gym, their faces might've even been close like this at least one other time before, in an empty gymnasium all alone, just like they are at the moment. But right now feels different in a million indescribable ways. Katsuki can feel his heart pounding in his chest, he's strangely aware of his breathing as he waits for her answer. Her eyes dart from his to his mouth and back, he watches as her lips part and he almost closes the distance between them before she gets to speak.

"Yes"

Just like that he's on her. He starts slow savoring her as best as he can while he works on lowering himself to his elbows until their bodies are pressed together. Kissing her is giving him a maple syrup after taste and he smiles against her lips. "Did you have pancakes for breakfast?" he teases her kissing her jawline and feels her nod under him "You taste sweet." He feels one of her hands roam over his uniform shirt, grabbing and feeling for him; the other snakes over his head and tangles in his hair tugging just the right amount. He balances his weight into one elbow and lets his newly freed hand roam towards Ochako's legs, under and up her skirt.

He's never been this excited to feel up a woman before, but Ochako isn't just any woman. As he gets closer to her center she tugs harder on his hair, he feels in a hormonal haze between the her smell, her taste and the pleasure of having her touch him. When his fingers finally find her core its warm and wet. A devilish smile spreads along his lips as he nips and bites at her neck "You're all wet down here." He expertly runs his fingers over and around her bundle of nerves, spreading the wetness and lifts himself to take a good look at her. The hand that was tangled in his hair falls limply to the ground over her head. He can tell Ochako is struggling to stay silent, Katsuki would prefer if she didn't but he accepts the challenge.

"And who's fault," she says between heavy breaths, big brown doe eyes half closed from lust meeting red looming over her, "do you think that is?" Katsuki scoffs and gets his hand to work under her skirt. His thumb pressing and rubbing while two of his fingers slowly start making their way inside of her. Ochako's reaction is instantaneous as she brings both her hands to her mouth to try and cover up a moan, Katsuki's not having any of that. He expertly maneuvers himself and takes hold of both her wrists pinning them right above her head. "Don't worry cheeks," he gives her a kiss in her temple and whispers to her ear, "only I can hear you right now," a kiss on her cheek, "only I can see you right now," he lowers himself, hand inside her never stopping, the two buttons in her blouse are already unmade, a peek of her breasts right there for him to see. Without even thinking about it he starts sucking on the visible cleavage, the thought of leaving a mark on her crosses his mind for a moment but before he can make a decision she's arching her back.

"K-Katsuki!" His name gets mixed into the delectable moan that she makes as he feels her contract around his fingers. He slows the movement of his thumb but doesn't stop it as she rides the wave of her orgasm. He lets go of her wrists and as her chest starts to rise and fall in a more normal rhythm he carefully takes his hand out from under her and brings it to his mouth to wipe clean.

He can't help the moan that escapes him as he savors the taste of her. Under him, Ochako is coming down from her orgasm high, her brain is so muddled it barely registers what Katsuki is doing. They look at each other through hooded eyes for a moment, Katsuki is ready to pounce on her again the moment she gives him a sign. He feels like he's barely gotten started with all the things he wants to do to her. But the sign doesn't come and slowly as he stares at her disheveled state under him and wonders how was he supposed to ever let go of someone so beautiful, he recognizes the small glint of panic behind her eyes. He swallows and slowly starts stepping back to allow her some space. "Are you ok?" he asks, offering her a hand "I got carried away."

"It's... alright" she take his hand and let's him lift her to sitting position next to him "I... I'd never..." she then stares at something on him and turns crimson. "Umm..." A small smile adorns her lips and she motions to his pants.

He doesn't even bother looking. "Shit," he can feel it. This doesn't usually happens when he's doing this, it does happen with Deku thought so maybe he should've known it would with Ochako.

"Did I...?" Ochako is brushing stray leaves from her hair, red still covering her from her neck up as her eyes switch from his crotch to his face. "I'm sorry, should I?"

Katsuki can't help the bitter laugh. Oh how he would love to but "No, no." Ochako seems taken back by the quick response. "Not that I don't want you to, only if  you want to," he clarifies, "but it just might get messier and you're already..." he motions to all of her.

"Right, you're right," she says trying to get her hair to a semblance of what it was before. "I've just... no one had done that to me before and... It looked like I'm the only one who got something out of it"

"Don't worry cheeks, seeing you like that is what I get out of it." Ochako's pink cheeks are bright red once again, Katsuki is loving the color on her. "Was that romantic enough for you?"

Ochako chuckles. "That was... something for me." Katsuki raises his eyebrows.

"Excuse me?" The frown is back on his face, the one that makes him look like he's offended by something, he probably is right now, by what she just said. But she's not going to lie to him, no matter how good of an orgasm he just pulled out of her.

"You think you can just kiss a girl mid conversation and label the whole interaction 'romantic'?"

"I think I did more than just kiss you."

Ochako pretends to dust off dirt from her arms "You also got me dirty."

"I like you dirty."

"Katsuki!" The man in question lets himself fall to lay in her lap and starts mindlessly running his hand over her legs.

"Can't help myself, you're so fucking hot cheeks" She was familiar with Katsuki's teasing, just not on the sexual way. She's not completely against it, but she'd be lying if she said there was nothing weighting on her mind.

"You haven't explained why you're comfortable doing this right after you told me Deku is also interested in me." She feels him sigh deeply below her.

"It's not my place to say, but I promise, there's nothing to worry about." Ochako is not satisfied with that answer, but doesn't pry further. If what Katsuki says is true then the next conversation she had with Deku would probably go something like the one she just had with Katsuki. Well. Maybe not exactly like this but a girl could dream.

Notes:

So the surprise is that this is obviously not the last chapter. This was actually longer but had to cut it because I think more chapters is better than one long big ass one. Next chapter cat's out of the bag tho, I can promise you that much at least.

I hope I get to spend more time writing, I have officially moved out from home and I'm on my won now, big milestone for me.

I was inspired to post this because of the manga officially ending. This doesn't mean I'll stop writing, I still want to write the She's a fairy follow up, and I hope I'm not the only author who thinks that way.

So glad to read your comments and to see new readers comment even months after I posted the chapter. Hope everyone is doing great! And I'll see ya'll on the next update.

Chapter Text

Ochako's mother was waiting for her at the cabin when she returned. She'd said goodbye to Katsuki before getting too close, scared that her mother could be waiting by the window for her and try something. Katsuki had looked around for anyone watching before taking her hand in his and giving it a lasting kiss. "I hope I see you at the gym again soon." She wasn't proud to admit she was left a stuttering mess. As if the man hadn't done worse to her mere minutes before.

The moment Ochako comes through the door the questioning starts. "You've been training with Katsuki Bakugou this whole time?!" Her mother was barely containing herself. Her father is sitting in the cabin's living room, reading the paper. She knows for a fact both of them have resort activities programmed at the moment so if they are both home instead, waiting for her, there is no way she can get past the coming interrogatory.

"Yes," cue the gasp, "he's Izuku's friend. Izuku asked him to help me at the gym with the heavy equipment." There was no reason to lie. Her mom knows she lifts weights.

"And does Izuku know his friend came to see you today?" This time the question comes from her father, much to the two women's surprise. Her father liked hearing the conversations, but he never meddled. Especially in romance-related matters.

"Y-yes" she answers. Truthfully. She thinks.

Her father hums, eyes on the same journal page, but makes no follow-up questions.

Ochako feels her mother's hands squish her face and pull her closer. "If someone had told me coming here would get my baby not one, but two possible matches I would've pressured your father into buying this cabin a long time ago," she coos. Ochako makes a point to not take the jab too personally, she knows her mother is only looking out for her.

"Mom, no one is talking about matching with Katsuki," she tries to politely push her away. "I'm dating Izuku," as far as her mom is concerned, "Katsuki just got worried about me missing gym today."

"That," her father. Again. "Is what he needed to discuss in private?"

She turns to him, eyes wide trying to catch her father's attention away from his paper to convey her annoyance. "Yes." Her father hums. Again. Eyes still on his paper.

"And is Izuku ok with you and Katsuki spending so much time together?" Her mother keeps probing beside her.

"Well," she gulps, "he was the one who gave me the idea in the first place." She hopes what she said sounded more convincing to her mother than to her. Katsuki said not to worry so she wasn't worried, she was just very confused.

"And things are going well with Izuku, right?"

That's what I'm hoping to find out soon. But she can't say that. "Of course. Things are fine." She hated when people kept things from her, and that is exactly what Katsuki and Deku seemed to be doing to her at the moment. It was driving her crazy. "As a matter of fact, I actually need to speak with him so I think I'll go look around the resort right now."

"Privately?" Her dad interjects. Again. Still not bothering to look up from his newspaper.

In truth, she'd just made up the thing on the spot to try and get away from them. "Yes, Dad. Preferably in private with nobody else listening in or spying on us through a peeping hole just like any rational two adults would want their conversation to be." She turns then to her mother. "Now," she says, before any more questions she doesn't have answers to can be asked "If I can be excused, I'm taking a shower and then heading out."

"Just one more thing hun," her father stops her on her way to the second floor. He's finally lifted his eyes from the newspaper he's clearly been pretending to read all this time and is meeting her eyes with an expert poker face. She smiles showing he has her attention. "Izuku dropped by, he wanted to ask if you'd like to watch the fireworks show with him tonight. He said he'd be waiting for you at the picnic benches before sundown, in case you were interested."

It takes everything in Ochako to hold the smile on her face and her father's gaze. In the background, her mom is complaining about missing Izuku for taking a bathroom break from guarding the door and is grilling her dad for not telling her once she was back. "Thank you, dad."

He smiles back with closed lips. Mrs. Uraraka's rant fading into the background. "Anything for my Chako chip." And with that, he's back at pretending to read the newspaper.

It's already dark by the time she gets to the agreed meeting place and sure enough, Deku is sitting right there. Picnic basket in hand, a folded blanket stuck between the handles. He looks charming under the nearby dining hall's porch light. She takes a deep breath before getting closer and making her presence known. She's not sure why she's nervous, she isn't angry at Deku, not in the way she'd been with Katsuki. Maybe she should be, it was just so difficult being angry with him, with his politeness and sweetness and all. Besides, if anything, the conversation with Katsuki should have her feeling relieved. Her main concern up to a few days ago was that she couldn't make up her mind about which of the two to pursue, and now, from what little she had dared to interpret from his cryptic wording, that too had been taken care of by the two men themselves. Or so Katsuki had said. When she is close enough to the picnic tables Deku is quick to spot her and she swears she imagined how he seems to light up the moment their eyes lock. He waves at her, excitedly getting up from his seat. She waves back. It's time to see if what Katsuki had told her was true.

"You look beautiful." Deku, ever the gentleman, is quick to compliment her, he always does when they have a date.

"Thank you," and she never gets tired of it. He then takes her hand in his, the same hand Katsuki had kissed goodbye a few hours back, and gives it a longing kiss of his own. That is new. Ochako feels her face go warm and she doesn't even bother trying to hide it from him. On his part, Deku can't help chuckling.

"Come on," he takes her hand in his and pulls at her to follow "I know a good spot." Since the show is set to start soon, most of the designated viewing area is already occupied with other people and their own blankets. But Deku leads them past the sea of people, disregarding the other guest's curious looks, to a more secluded area away from prying eyes.

Ochako stayed silent during the walk to the spot, she's too focused on their joint hands to even notice where exactly he's leading her to. She feels silly fixating in Deku's hand in her's, as if she were a silly teenager. She tried being sneaky and eliciting a response from him by running her thumb over some of his scars. She remembers him mentioning he got into a lot of trouble using his father's surgery equipment that day but he was fond of the scars nevertheless. If Deku felt her feeling his hand he made no comment about it. She remembers wondering how his touch would feel, this wasn't like how Katsuki had touched her earlier, but it still felt as electric as it could be, up until the moment he let go of her to start setting up the blanket.

She tries not to look too disappointed at the loss and kneels down to help him. "I'm no cook like Kachan so I hope sandwiches are ok," he says pulling out a Tupperware from the picnic basket.

"Of course they are." She smiles warmly while helping him set up plates and cups from the basket.

He watches her carefully place the items in his blanket, silently working. "You're quiet tonight," he sits down next to her.

Was she? She's about to answer that she hadn't noticed when his hand finds hers again, successfully halting her brain. Words die in her mouth as his fingers lace around hers. "Is everything ok?" He turns to her with concern in his eyes. She's still looking at his thumb rubbing the back of her hand.

It takes a moment for her to process the question, and when she does she scoffs. Things weren't ok. Things weren't terrible either, she was just very confused. She finally looks back at him "I... don't know." Confused about Katsuki, about what it meant for them, about Izuku suddenly holding her hand and kissing it so casually after weeks of minimal to no contact, about the conversation they would need to have tonight.

He opens his mouth as if to say something, but seems to think better of it, "I see." She can read the conflict in his mind at this point, it's reassuring to see that he might be as nervous as her tonight. She waits for him to elaborate, to start explaining himself the way Katsuki had done but when he finally averts her gaze she takes the first step.

"Katsuki came by my cabin today," she says it like a confession, her heart pounding. "Did you know that?"

Deku takes a moment to think of his answer. "I didn't know he was planning to." Careful, measured, and truthful.

"But he told you he did," she narrows her eyes, Deku looks like the kind to lie by omission, "after he left."

Of course Kachan had told him. Katsuki had called him into his apartment and told him everything. By the time he was done, they both had enough pent-up energy and had needed to let it out. It'd been the first time they'd done it thinking about her and Izuku was left obsessed at the idea of making a sandwich of her between them. He forces the fantasy to the back of his brain, not right now.

"Yes," he unconsciously tightens his grip on her hand fearing she might leave.

But Ochako stays put, Katsuki said Deku would have the answers and she was intent in getting them tonight, one way or another.

"He said he told you what we talked about during dinner last night."

"Not specifically!" he is quick to clarify, "He wouldn't betray your trust like that."

"Then what did he tell you?"

Izuku sighs, he's not sure how much he can say without outing him and Kachan before its time. Still he repeats his boyfriend's words. "He told me you deserve someone who will make you feel loved and appreciated every day for the rest of your life." He turns to her, his thumb still tracing circles over her hand, his eyes the softest she's ever seen so far. "And I agree." He finally pulls away to reach into the basket and pull out a bottle of wine. He takes their cups and half-fills them before handing hers back. “Ochako," he starts, "The past month has been a wonderful experience. I’ve had a lot of fun sharing time with you-”

Ochako lets out a shaky breath interrupting him. “Oh, you really are going to break things off.”

The woman looks like she's about to cry. "This is what Katsuki meant when he said not to worry about things." Of course, it was! What was Ochako thinking? That they would let her date both of them at the same time? She could imagine the horrified look on Deku's face if he heard that coming out of her mouth. They'd think she's some kind of perverted freak. They probably decided between them who would continue dating her and Izuku had stepped back, ever the fucking gentleman, and this was his idea of letting her down softly. "I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking..." she mumbles as she places her cup down, already thinking of fleeing the scene before she can embarrass herself.

Izuku could see the gears turning in Ochako's head just by reading her expression. “No! No no no, it’s not that!” he sets the wine bottle aside and takes both her hands in his pressing them to his lips in an attempt to calm her down. “Please listen to me, don't get ahead of yourself.” She slowly nods, her heaving chest slowing down after each breath, her eyes searching his face for answers. He gulps, trying to decide on what to say in the moment “I like you." It takes a genuine effort on his part not to cringe at himself, he sounds like a schoolboy. "A lot." He'd told his parents he loved her but he didn't want to scare her just yet. "From the day I met you, I knew you were going to change my life in a radical way for the better. I’ve learned a lot from you in the past month, I’ve learned to be a bit more bold, to try new things and to always think outside the box. You are a one-in-a-million find Ochako and anyone would be an idiot to let go of chances like that.”

He sounds sincere, but just like with Katsuki things aren't adding up in Ochako's head. “You say that now but if you'd asked me yesterday it looked like you've been trying to set me up with Katsuki this whole time.”

Deku laughs but his expression is not amused. He looks at anything but her and opens and closes his mouth a few times before answering. He's done that a lot tonight, he must be really nervous, she thinks, this better be good.

“Yes and no.”

Ochako almost takes back her hands from him out of frustration. This was starting to feel like her conversation with Katsuki all over again. She directs closed eyes to the sky and heaves a deep, tired sigh mentally reminding herself she is not leaving without answers this time. Izuku sees her frustration and is quick to continue. “Ochako I know we haven't known each other for long but... nothing would make me happier than for you to spend the rest of my life with me."

Ochako's eyes snap to his. There goes her resolve. This time she does pull away, cautiously keeping her heart in check. "Are you-?" What about Katsuki?

"But!" Izuku continues, almost reaching for her again but holding himself in place. Don't scare her. "Before I can properly ask that question, we need to have a serious discussion.”

She is near speechless. He's basically asking her to marry him. But what about Katsuki?

Izuku knew this was a risk, her being quiet was something he'd expected but the conflicted expression is scaring him. "I'm sorry... I assumed this was something you'd want."

Ochako remembers herself then, her mouth moves trying to formulate an appropriate response but her brain is still stuck on Katsuki. Why is she thinking about Katsuki? A second ago she was terrified at the prospect of losing Deku, she still is! "I'm sorry, it's just..." she feels overwhelmed. Marriage? So soon? Was this soon? She'd maybe considered dating again but marriage! "Of course I want to..." she motions at him with her hand and hurriedly adds, "Eventually! You just... caught me off guard and after what Kat said today I guess I just don't understand how..." She drifts off as Deku takes her hand back into his.

Izuku's heart warms up seeing her thinking about Katsuki after his proposal. "I understand. Kachan and I haven't been completely honest with you." His thumbs start drawing circles around her again and Ochako's heart melts.

"Well, you can start being now," she tries coaxing him but Deku smiles and shakes his head.

“I love your enthusiasm but tonight I would like to enjoy you for myself if that's alright. Tomorrow I promise we’ll have our talk, all of us, and if you still want to w-" he clears his throat "I will get you the most beautiful ring for you to wear,” he lifts her hand towards his lips for a kiss. He starts with her fingers, then her knuckles and finally the back of her hand. All while holding her eyes with an intensity she didn't know he could show, Ochako can't help being caught in the moment, her entire resolve forgotten as deep green eyes call to her. She feels his hand under her chin and before he has the chance to ask for her permission her lips are on him as the fireworks go off.

Izuku feels himself melt into her kiss, he’d made a point for the entire month to have as little physical contact with her as possible. He thought that way he would be able to maintain a distance, back when he thought developing feelings for Ochako meant losing Kachan. Little by little he had felt the wall around his heart crumble and feared Ochako would take Katsuki's place in his heart. The more time he spent with her, the more he found in her all the things he loved about him and unique little things that complimented him as well. As he runs his hand through brown locks, the booming of the fireworks as background music, he realizes Ochako was never going to take Kachan's place in his heart, she was sharing it. He finds himself lost in the thought of waking up every morning to the two loves of his life, to eating Katsuki’s meals, to falling asleep in Ochako’s arms. To the domesticity of a life together.

He parts from her lips to run kisses down her neck as his other hand finds her waist and makes them switch so he’s on top of her. His hand wanders to her hip and lowers itself caressing her thighs through her dress skirt.
Ochako immediately gasps. “D-deku!” You'd think she'd burned him with how quickly Izuku let go of her.

“Sorry sorry, I got carried away.” He feels his brain muffled, he lives such a stressful life that whenever he does this he and Katsuki always make sure to have privacy so they can turn their brains off. He'd completely forgotten with Ochako but who could blame him? The firework show is still lighting up the sky behind him and the multicolor lights cover Ochako in her disheveled state. “You look beautiful,” the woman under him turns crimson red as she starts composing herself and looking around nervously checking if anyone had spotted their little display.

“Thank you,” she answers meekly. Deku finds her adorable and holds himself back for a moment wondering if it would be ok to continue kissing her. She seems to be considering the same thing as she scans around them looking for signs of anyone seeing them but the firework show is working wonders as a distraction. Sensing her discomfort Izuku starts stepping back slowly making an effort to hide the tightness in his pants. He realizes he's failed miserably when a small gasp escapes her. She bites her lip for a moment, as if considering her next words. Izuku is about to start apologizing profoundly again for making her uncomfortable when she asks, “Would you walk me to my cabin Deku?" Big, brown, doe eyes look up to him for an answer furthering the discomfort in his pants. "Please?"

Izuku gulps. Katsuki can be a brat sometimes but this better not be waking something new in him. “Of course.”

They clean up their picnic blanket in a silent hurry. The unopened tupperware goes straight back into the basket and they both down their full cups of wine in record time, liquid courage never tasted better. The walk is equally silent but the energy around them feels charged with tension. He's not sure what ochako is thinking as they make their way to the Uraraka cabin, hands firmly intertwined. It's been years since he felt this nervous, what were they doing? What was he planning on doing? What did she want them to do? If Katsuki could see him now he'd probably be making fun of him, the way he'd talked about Ochako earlier had left Izuku wanting for her too. He takes a deep breath and steels himself as the cabin comes into view, he steals a glance at the woman next to him. She's biting her lips but has a determined look in her eyes that fills him with new purpose. He won't disappoint, not after Katsuki set them up for success.

When they arrive all the lights are turned off in the cabin, Ochako procures a key from her purse and opens the door on the small porch that leads to the house. She lingers outside for a moment. Izuku let her walk ahead to open the door, choosing not to crowd her space in case she was having second thoughts. Second thoughts to what? He didn't even dare to entertain the thought, the last thing he wants is to make her feel pressured.

“Deku.” She finally speaks up turning his way, hands fidgeting still with the key.
“Yes?” He's not proud of the way floral perfume clouds his judgment.
“Come upstairs with me.”

The words have barely left her mouth when Izuku is already locked onto her, pushing them inside and slamming the door shut behind them. She barely has time to throw the keys and her purse to a nearby couch before he crowds her against the nearest wall and starts nipping at her neck. He is breathing her in as much as he can, wondering if he could catch some of Katsuki's musk still on her from earlier.

"D-deku!" he feels one of her hands hold his face back up from her neck, forcing him to look at her. "Upstairs," she breaths, "please."

Oh this has definitely awakened something new in him.

Their hurried steps echo through the cabin as they make their way to Ochako's designated bedroom. She gets away from him long enough to lock the door but not a second more. She hurriedly works on her dress clasps while Deku unbuttons his shirt in lightning speed. “Do you want help with that?” He says once he's finished.

Ochako smiles. “Yes please.” She promptly turns around and lets him unclasp and unzip the dress. Before she can start shimmying out of it she feels warm lips on her shoulder and firm hands pulling the fabric down carefully. Once the dress pools at her feet, she turns back and they both fall to her bed. Under the fireworks' multicolored light filtering through the window, Ochako admires the chiseled chest hovering above her.

“You can touch if you want,” he says playfully leaning in to give her a peck on the cheek and continuing down to her neck while working on her bra.
She runs her hands up to his pecs and gives a light squeeze. “Where did the shy guy go?” Deku moans in the middle of his work.
“Told him to wait outside," he pulls back triumphantly taking her bra with him, "I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now.”
“Could've fooled me, it didn’t look like you were in any hurry,” Deku seems to barely register her teasing as he takes her in, dark green eyes unreadable, a peek of his tongue weting his lips in anticipation. She suddenly feels completely exposed, sprawled naked in her bed under one of the most attractive men she's ever known. A wave of crimson blooms from her chest and spreads to her neck and up her face. She immediately starts bringing her legs into herself in an attempt to cover up but he's fast to hold them back in place.

He straddles her legs and places one hand in her abdomen before running it up to her chest slowly, feeling and prodding at her skin. "Sorry for the delay." He completely bends down and his breath sends shivers down her stomach. If her brain wasn't completely fogged she'd probably comment on his body's flexibility. His roaming hand takes hold of her face, his thumb tracing her gaping lips as he lowers himself, a breath away from her breasts. “But I am nothing if not a gentleman.” Ochako’s moans are angelic to his ears and he makes it a point to make her sing as much as he can by sucking and biting, testing what she likes depending on the intensity of her reactions. At one point he brings his hand down to knead and pinch at the other breast. Only after he feels her dry humping into him does he makes his way into her folds.

With a pop he lets go of the breast he was sucking on to give her a quick peck on the cheek “You’re soaking wet love, are you feeling good?” Ochako only manages to moan enthusiastically, her pupils completely dilatated as she feels his fingers rub over her bundle of nerves. “Use your words, I want to hear your lovely voice.” He whispers, giving her another kiss.
After a moment she musters, “Y-yes.”
”Yes what?” He insists, his hand gently circling her, his lips slowly planting kisses to the side of her face.
“Yes!" she blurts out, almost out of breath from the pressure building up inside her. "I-I feel good.”
“That’s our girl”

Ochako is about to question his use of the plural when she feels him press on her driving her over the edge and interrupting whatever thought was on her mind. The moment she arches her back Deku is there to swallow her moans in his lips. He keeps palming her all through her orgasm, rubbing and circling, and she wriggles under him from the overstimulation. Once it's passed they part, Deku rests his forehead against hers for a moment, watching her come down from her high with a smile. He then rises up and brings his drenched hand out from her underwear and into his mouth. Ochako stares, dizzy and mesmerized, after watching Katsuki do the same in the morning Deku doing it is surprising but not unexpected.

“I think you're wet enough now," he finishes licking his lips clean, a devilish smirk adorning sweet lips. "Is this your first time?” Ochako visibly pales and Deku immediately drops the teasing act to a reassuring tone. He caresses her face softly “I’m asking to make sure I don’t hurt you Ochako, no other reason.” As if to comfort her he leans in to kiss her on her cheek. “You’re perfect, exactly as you are.”
The kiss does help, and also the scare sobered Ochako enough for her brain to remind her there was nothing wrong with her past.

She still mumbles the answer. “It’s not.”

This doesn't phase Deku “Alright then, I’m a bit… thick" it's the first time she's seen a man look embarrassed over something like that. "I'll just show you first, and then you decide what happens next. I might need to stretch you a bit.”
“Stretch me?”
“Yes, so it doesn’t hurt." Ochako feels completely embarrassed, realizing how low the bar for her previous sex partners had been. Deku steps back to remove his pants and after seeing what springs from his boxers Ochako can't help the alarmed gasp that escapes her. She instantly covers her mouth but the damage is done.
The light may be dim but she can still see how Deku has gone completely red "I know" he sighs "It's a lot."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it in a bad way." He was not overselling himself. He was big of course, but that much she'd imagined in her bathroom fantasies, what she'd never pictured was the girth. She swallowed visibly, the word 'stretch' resonating in her brain as she gets lost picturing herself completely filled by him.
"No, its ok." He brings her back from her fantasy. "I'm not forcing myself on you Ochako."
"You're not!" She crawls closer towards him and sees him visibly react to the view. The pink head bobbing up and glistening with precum, she licks her lips and reaches up to hold him. "I'm not sure I'd be able to take you, right now but we can do something else?" She's not usually forward like this, but she's already had 2 more orgasms in a single day than what she usually gets and Deku doesn't have the excuse of lack of privacy like Katsuki did. Still, Deku says nothing as he stares dumbfounded, she can see his brain going a million miles per second probably trying to conjure up a coherent thing to say to stop her but she's not having it, not this time. She nuzzles against him and licks a long strip up to the head then gives it a kiss and moans at the taste of his arousal. "Please?"

Ochako is the first to wake up the next morning. She loves the early morning dew smell that comes from her window in the cabin, but today there's an additional musky scent teasing her senses. Her bare legs feel sore and as she stretches them under the covers she feels a different pair of equally bare legs in her bed. Her heart starts racing and her eyes immediately snap open to find her head neatly tucked in under Deku's chin.

She looks up and the movement is enough to find green eyes barely open. "G'morning gorgeous," Deku mumbles giving her a lazy kiss on her head and pressing her further against his bare chest, seemingly returning to sleep. Oh, this man is going to be the end of her.

For a second she relishes being in between his arms, the musky after-sex smell still hanging between them, her thighs still sore from the second thing they resorted to after Ochako started choking on him. She'd been embarrassed but Deku, ever the gentleman reassured her it was normal and that she'd get there eventually. Ochako liked that word. Eventually. It felt like a promise of more.

She's starting to wonder on what she could do to help her build a tolerance when sounds from downstairs sobber up her horny daze. Her parents are home. Last night is nothing against the way her heart immediately revs up in her chest. They hadn't been home last night, probably gone to watch the firework show like everyone else, but they were here now. She turns to look at the man in her bed "Deku..." How can she say this? She's never had to shoo a guy before. Number 1, because she is a grown woman living on her own and doesn't need to hide these things, and number 2, because guys were usually already getting ready to leave by the time she woke up. "Deku you need to leave," she whispers softly up at him.

He doesn't even glance at her when he mumbles, "Just a few more minutes," and takes a deep breath into her hair.

"Please, my parents-" At the word 'parents' the man finally perks up.

"Shit." Ochako is pretty sure she's never heard him curse before. In a single movement, he's out of the bed reaching for his clothes and she has a clear daylight view of his perfectly round ass.

"Wow," she doesn't realize she said it out loud until Deku turns to her mid-dressing and with a red face. She feels her own cheeks turning red "Sorry! I just-"
"Were you...?" He lifts an eyebrow as he continues dressing.
She holds up the covers to her chest as she sits up. "Yes... sorry sorry it's just last night was dark and I couldn't see." She turns her eyes down embarrassed. Why? She isn't sure, after all the man had fucked her thighs for a good part of the night before. "Not that it's not noticeable when you're dressed, you're doing a great job at the gym, it's just I've never seen a guy with a... like that and not that I go around looking at men's butts all day-"
The matres dips and Deku is back in her space  "Ochako..." he interrupts her. He's not finished but he has his pants and undershirt on and his face is a shade darker than before, "You are too adorable." He pulls her face in for a kiss that makes her nerves melt away. How is he able to be flirty despite being clearly flustered himself? She needs to find out. "Meet us at Katsuki's for dinner? At 6? We'll explain everything." She's not proud to admit she'd forgotten all about the answer seeking but she is quick to nod.

"Of course, should I bring anything?"
"Just your lovely self, we'll take care of everything." With that, he picks up his shirt and heads straight to the window. Ochako's eyes widen when, with practiced ease, he steps outside and lets himself hang and fall. Ochako races towards him alarmed but only finds him on the ground smiling up at her. 'Don't make us wait too long.' He mouths, before sprinting off and leaving her breathless.

The day passes by painfully slow for Ochako. After Deku leaves she gets busy cleaning the disheveled state of her room and herself before heading down for breakfast. Her parents greet her with the usual morning charm and if they notice an extra spring in her step or how she hums a tune while pouring milk into her coffee they only share a private look between them and keep any comments to themselves. Ochako is scared that her mother will start asking about the previous night's show but she is completely complacent and only talks about her and her father's experience. She would find it scary if it weren't for her morning good mood clouding her judgment.

She decides to keep herself busy heading to Mina's yoga class. The woman is thrilled to see her there and after her shift is over joins her and Tsu at the swimming area of the lake. They make wonders taking Ochako's mind off of her evening engagement. Mina is the only one who tries prying some information from her but the moment Ochako closes up the subject is dropped in favor of Mina talking about her mother's hair salon back in her hometown. This gives her an idea of what her next stop should be as she heads back to her cabin for a shower. It takes all of her mother's strength not to react to Ochako saying she's headed to the salon for a quick touch-up on her haircut and she appreciates the effort. She usually visits a small salon in the city now and then or when she has an important presentation or meeting in the university and needs to look the part, it's the first time she feels like getting a touch-up for a date.

She's just back in the cabin from the salon when she hears her name called from the resort's speakers.

"Miss Ochako Uraraka, call for you in the call center."

Ochako turns to the cabin's wall clock, she should be able to get back from the call and still have spare time to get ready. She's already picturing which of her dresses to wear as she almost skips her way to the public phone booths not even wondering who could be asking for her.

"Hello?"

"Can I have your brisket recipe?" Hitoshi's annoyed voice comes from the other side.

"Oh hi Hitoshi! I'm fine thank you fro asking, my summer is going great, what about you?" she can feel him rolling his eyes from the other end of the line.

He takes a deep breath and tries again, in a more polite tone. "Hi Ochako, our summer has been fine, I'm glad you're having fun. May I have your brisket recipe, please?"

Ochako isn't actually annoyed but she loves giving her friend a hard time. "Couldn't you look one up in the library?"

The man relaxes as he hears her fall into their usual banter. "I could, but Denki really liked yours"

"When has Denki ever tried my brisket?"

"You gave a ton to my dad one time you made too much, I stole some, Denki found it... long story. Can I have it?" He sounds impatient.

"Yes yes..." She proceeds to dictate the ingredient list and procedure to make her mother's stolen brisket. One of the few meals she could confidently say she knew how to make to perfection, after all, she loved it. "Don't leave it too long in the oven, if you overcook it it's gonna end up dry."

"Yeah don't worry, I'm already putting enough effort into this to mess it up."

"I wouldn't say fetching me from my vacation to ask for a recipe is a lot of effort. I think I've done more from walking from my cabin to the call center."

"Well I've called at least 3 other summer resorts before this one looking for you, the list in the phone book is longer but I'm smart enough to narrow it down to the one's driving distance to Mustafu."

"You were the one who dropped me off." She scoffs, "How did you not know what resort I'm in?"

"You gave excellent directions and I had a passenger princess to keep my focus on." It's Ochako's turn to roll her eyes. "I think one of my dad's old high school friends goes there sometimes. Dr. Toshinori?" Ochako's ears perk up recognizing Deku's father's name.

"Really?" Deku hadn't mentioned his dad knowing Dr. Aizawa.

"Yeah, he invited my dad once when they saw each other in their highscool reunion. Shame he never agreed, his son was actually my first kiss."

Ochako's throat goes dry. "What?" the question comes out softly, and Hitoshi easily confuses it as interest instead of alarm.

"Yeah, we were kids, like 11 I think. I felt a vibe coming from him and we snuck out to try." Experimenting was normal, she'd done some self-reflecting during her high school years in the all-girls academy."Barely a peck you know, but he got really flustered and said he already had someone he liked, started rambling about a Kachan-"

"Hitoshi I have to go."

"Oh." He sounds taken aback at being cut off so suddenly. "Sure Chaks, thanks for the recipe, see you when you get back."

"Yeah. See ya." If he says anything after she doesn't hear it. She hangs up the phone with trembling hands.

So Deku used to have a crush on Katsuki when they were kids, that didn't mean they were dating now. That didn't mean Deku was... Oh, she would feel completely stupid if he was and she'd never realized. What about Katsuki? Did he know? They said they were close, maybe he does, maybe that's why she never sees them in public. Her eyes go wide.

"Miss, are you done with the phone?" Ochako snaps back to reality as a woman calls out to her.

"Yes. Sorry sorry, go ahead." Ochako steps aside and starts walking out of the call center. She doesn't want to go back to the cabin now. She just needs to take a walk.

Deku had said they would both have answers tonight. He said they would explain things tonight. She wasn't sure what the explanation entailed but she was starting to think it might just be them telling her they were together. It made perfect sense, of course neither would mind the other being intimate with her, she didn't even count in their world! But what about Deku's proposal?! Was that a lie? Was the previous night a lie? She remembers what Katsuki told her on their first meeting, about his side job in the resort. Could that be faked? Could they fake that with her? Had they faked that with her? The more she thinks about it the harder it is for her to breathe. She just has to wait a few more hours, no biggy. She'll go back to the cabin, get showered, get dressed and head to Katsuki's place at 6. Only a little more time, she just has to be a little more patient with them.

No.

She wouldn't.

She needed her answers now. She'd had enough of their cryptic messages and the way they'd act around her, and after what they'd done with her the day before... this ended now.

Notes:

The hardest part of writing is when I have to leave the chapter alone, simmering for about a week before starting to edit it to be able to post it.

Technically technically technically, the cat is out of the bag. Just not in the way we all thought it would, I am honestly as surprised as you guys but I have a doctor's note: You see when I was taking some writing classes one advice was to always take the more interesting route so, you must understand, given the choice would you rather them have their normal dinner and confess to Ochako or give it a little dramatic spice for flavor?

I also wasn't sure what cliffhanger to leave cause I had two in mind but again this was getting too long! So you get this one and hopefully no cliffhanger next chapter. Also also, I'm kinda bummed cause I don't have a playlist to help me write this, like, I haven't found a song for them, any recs?

Always happy to read your comments! Ya'll are so sweet. I know I got too into the IzuOcha this chapter but hang tight this is still Izukachako no matter what Hori says in canon. And for anyone still mourning that, just remember: Canon will pass, ao3 is forever.

I'm not sure I'll post again this year so I'll wish you all happy holidays and a happy new year. Hope to read everyone again next year in the next update!

Chapter Text

Ochako stands quiet in front of Katsuki's door. It's not that early, the sun is starting to set already but it will be early enough. Earlier than the time they'd agreed on for her to arrive but she's not here for that anymore. She knows they both must be inside making good on Deku's promise. We'll take care of everything.

At some point in her walk from the call center to the appartment she'd exhasuted her anger and was now in  denial.

"He wouldn't do that," she mumbles to no one, not even sure which of the two she's referring to. Her hands and feet are fidgetting as she tries to muster the courage to knock on the door. "They wouldn't do that to me." They wouldn't, right? They wouldn't lie to her face. They wouldn't string her along just for the fun of it. They wouldn't because they know her, she's let them get to know her, they effortlessly chipped at her insecurities untill she was left bare to them and she'd let herself be loved in a way she thought would never be possible. Because they did love her, right? And people don't hurt those who they love.

Ochako raises her hand to the door, preparing to knock but stops midway there. A nasty thought worms it's way into her brain and pushes her in a dark direction, one that she is not proud of but doesn't do anything to fight. Softly her hand grabs the door knob, she silently prays for it to be locked, a sign that what she's doing is not the right way to go about this, but when she turns it the door gives in to her in a silent dare. Ochako doesn't want to go in, without her anger pushing her forward she just wants to flee to her room, lock the door and never come out, never face them again and pretend it was all a pleasant summer dream. Her heart is hammering in her chest, What is she hoping to find by doing this? What is her plan? She's not sure how long she stands in the half open doorway considering her options. She can still leave, crawling under the covers sounds more enticing by the second but the idea of Deku's smell still lingering in her room breaks her heart just a bit more.

She finally steps in, half hoping the floorboards will creak under her weight of the guilt she's feeling. Just as it openned, the door closes silently behind her and after the first few steps she quickly realizes no creaking will give her away. Of course Katsuki would have the place in top condition. The apartment looks exactly like the first time she visited, with the exception that the table where Katsuki and her had dined is now set for three. She looks around the living room, paying close attention to any signs of a relationship, mementos, pictures, souvenirs, anything that would give her any indication wether her suspicions are right or wrong.  But there is nothing on display and maybe that is a sign in of itself because Katsuki wouldn't leave out anything that could give them away. But maybe she's just hiterical at this point. She must be because without realizing she starts reaching for a drawer in the TV rack when the sound of conversation behind her make sher stop. Alarmed she spins around and there is no one there. The muffled voices are coming from the hallway that leads to the bedroom. She looks back at the drawers and then at her hands. This isn't right, whatever she thinks is going on can wait for a proper confrontation but invading their privacy? Is whatever she thinks they did to her deserving of this? She sighs. She's not built for this, whatever they did is on them.

She's about to head back to the door when the voices start again. This time louder and clearer. "Babe, can you pass me the yellow sweater please?" Deku's words echoe in the appartment.

She shouldn't be here, this is wrong in so many levels, it's a complete invasion of their privacy.

"What do you think?" Deku is the one asking.
"As nerdy as ever."Katsuki responds and Ochako wants to fold on herself and scream. He's teasing. The same tone he uses with her. Although she supposes it's rather the same tone he uses with Deku that he used with her.

"Kachan c'mon, be serious."
"I am being serious," a pause, "I think nerdy you looks hot" Ochako's hand covers her mouth. Fuck. She really shouldn't have come in.
"Hands off," Deku chastises, "We've got a bigger fish to fry today. Best behavior."
"What, like you were last night?" Ochako wants to die as she holds back tears. "You still have to make up for that, by the way."
"And I will."
"Can I get a preview?"

Silence follows and it feels like torture the more it stretches. It was probably a minute, maybe a second but to Ochako it feels like eternity. She thought hearing them talk like a couple would have been the final nail in her coffin but the silence is so much worse. She doesn't need to see them to picture what's happening. She repeats this to herse over and over as the one second eternity streteches longer and longer. But her body moves on her own and when she turns into the hallway they are right there.

"Fuck."

Katsuki and Deku practically leap to opposite sides of the room. It had come out as something between a sob and a proper curse. More like a wail that had enough shame to be quite.

"Cheeks?" Katsuki is the first and fastes to react already making his way towards her.

Ochako is frozen in her place, all the way across his appartment's single hallway. "I-I I'm so sorry," she doesn't know what to look at she just knows she can't look at them. "I-I'll leave. I'm so sorry, I'm so so sorry." Her voice breaks as her legs finally respond and she starts heading to the door. But Katsuki is right behind her though. She has one hand on the door knob when he takes hold of the other and pulls her back.

"What are you doing here?" He's angry. Of course he is, she's in his appartment, unanounced, broke in really, and just caught him in a very private moment with his... his...

"I won't tell anyone don't worry." Becasue that would be his main concern, right? She pulls her hand away from him, conflicted with how spiteful her voice should sound. "I just," she sobs. "Why? Why would you two string me along for weeks if you were together?" The tears are falling non stop now. "Was it some fucked up prank? Did you think it would be fun to make me fall in love and then tell me it wasn't real?"

She sees his face soften, albeit slightly "We weren't stringin you along!" Katsuki is probably trying to calm her down in his own explosive manner but she's not done yet. The blond turns behind him to look at the other man in the room and her voice switches from remoursful to indignant before either of them can get any more words in.

"Right, you just made me belive you actually cared about me. Made me think I had a chance and yesterday..." she covers her fre hand, broken again. She feels the mess of emotions turn her brain and heart to mush. "Oh god, What the fuck was this?!"

"It was my idea!" Deku is there now, next to them. Her brain half takes in that he's wearing the yellow sweater and that he does look like a cute nerd. "We-I can explain but please sit down Ochako." God she might hate him more than Katsuki right now.

Ochako holds him under blazing eyes, eyes that Izuku had known to be filled with love mere hours before now stare at him in complete contempt. "No," it's the steadiest word she's said so far. She shakes Katsuki hand off and levels him with a glare too. "Talk."

Deku visibly gulps. "Right, this isn't how we were planning on telling you." He takes a cautious step closer and tries to reach for her "We had a very nice dinner set up, please if you could just come-"

"To the point, Izuku." It's taking everything in her to keep her breathing steady, she has managed to keep her sobs under control again despite the silent tears sliding down her face. Deku nods.

"Katsuki and I, have been together for some years now." Ochako's jaw clenches "and, well, we've been wanting to take the next step on our relationship" Katsuki grumbles besides her but keeps his mouth shut and lets his boyfriend continue. Deku also notices it. "Katsuki has been resistant to it. He's scared if we move in together, two single men living alone. It could give the wrong idea, get unwanted attention."

She's starting to put the pieces together. "So when you came around..." Katsuki adds.

"You thought Deku marrying me would keep your relationship safe?" Izuku nods, Katsuki huffs, both at least have the decency to look at her when confessing their deceit. "So all along you've just been trying to use me?"

"I honeslty didn't think it would get that far," Katsuki mumbles.

"No, fuck you!" She's livid. "You went along with it just like him. When were you two even planning on telling me? On the wedding night? After Katsuki moved into the spare bedroom in our house?" Ochako doesn't remember when was the last time she felt this much anger as she takes turns screaming at both men.

"Of course not! We were planning on telling you before asking the question." Izuku is closer now, not enough to make her feel crowded but he's getting there.

"You asked me last night Izuku! And-" it dawns on her then. The serious talk, this was it. This was the thing she had to agree to? Maybe if they'd told her on their own terms. A quick glance at the set dinner table behind them almost makes her laugh. No. It wuldn't matter how courteously they ask her to be their cover, it didn't matter how good they could make her feel physically. "My answer is no." She turns to both of them when she says it, "I deserve more than being an accesory to your relationship." She points at Katsuki who has been uncharacteristicaly quiet for the entirety of the disussion, "and I don't care what I told you I will find someone who will love me exactly as I am. I am not fucking settling," she adresses both of them next, "not even for you."

"And that's the fucking point cheeks!" Katsuki looks close to biting her head of but she's sure her own expression mirrors his, "This started with one thing in mind but things changed. We really do... care about you. The same way we care about each other."

Katsuki tries again for her hand but Ochako takes another step back, this time dizzy. "What-... what?"

"We know it's confusing, it's new for us too but today, what we wanted to ask you is if you would like to date us." He looks at Deku and then back at her "Both of us."

Ochako isn't sure she can keep herself upright as the diziness worsens with each passing second. She feels completely betrayed by them and then they drop this. "No," she shakes her head, eyes horrified, still processing how they could have thought of using her without consideration for her feelings, after she told them how lonely she felt.

"Ochako please think about it..."
"We know this is a lot..."

"I said no!" and with that the waterworks start again. She sees both men immediately rush to her and she takes another step back, stumbling and hitting the door. She ignores the pain and holds her hand up. "Don't." Both freeze in place, both waiting for her next move, two pairs of eyes pleading for her to let them in.

She needs to get away from them, if she spends another second in their precence she might faint just from the shock. "I'm leaving. And I don't want either of you to follow me or at my cabin door tomorrow for any reason." It takes a second, she can see Katsuki's jaw clenching from where she stands, and Deku's neck tense. She focuses in taking slow deep breaths as she steadies herself an urges the black spots in her vision to dissapear. She turns the door handle. "Do you understand?" She wants their confirmation, she's tired of these misunderstandings, they will listen to her now.

Both men nod.

She slams the door behind her.

Izuku wakes up with a headache the following morning. Katsuki and him had a fight that carried on well past midnight. Ofcourse they have quarrels like any other couple, but big fights like this one? He could count with one hand's fingers. It's been a while since their last big fight but this one definetely took first place. Usually one of them is in the right headspace to guide the discusion down a productive path but last night had been a mess.

"I told you this wasn't a good idea!" Katsuki had repeated at least twenty times.

Izuku had taken the first few hits. He did feel guilty about the whole thing, it had been his idea after all. But at one point he got tired of being the only one taking the punches. "Did you also think it wasn't a good idea when you were fingering her yesterday?" That had shut Katsuki up fast enough, it hadn't taken the anger from his eyes but it had been years since the last time Deku let himself be intimidated by that. "Or is it just a bad idea when you actually sit down and talk about the issue instead of have sex?"

Katsuki barely reacted except for the way the points of his ears reddened. "The fuck is that supposed to mean?"

"You know exactly what it means."

Of course Katsuki knew. The root of the whole issue coming to bite him in the ass. "Why can't you be happy with what we have?"

"And what is it that we have Katsuki?" An angry Izuku was as rare a sight as the moon at midday and yet Katsuki had managed it. "We only see eachother two months a year, I have to split your time between your work, your mother's extracurricular favors and me and to top it of we also have to sneak around like we're commiting some kind of inhuman transgression."

"Because we fucking are! If anyone found out about you-"

Deku pushes through the shock of the first part. "What about you?! You've blown half of the men in this goddam place, you flirt around with any and every guest regardless of gender if it'll get them into your mom's pockets but god-fucking-forgive anyone even sees us talking in public!" It hadn't been the best way to say it. He almost took it back after watching Katsuki deflate before him.

His hands clench to the sides. "You said you didn't care about that." Even when broken Katsuki would always be angry first.

He had. "I don't." The gruffnes in Katsuki's voice did little to hide the heartbreak. As anger made way for regret to settle in Deku he felt all his energy leave. "I'm sorry, I just... I told you I didn't care about that as long as I knew your heart belonged to me."

"And it does..." Katsuki pleads in the same tone he used for Ochako.

"Does it?" Deku understood her anger better now. No matter how much love he knew he had for Katsuki some wounds couldn't be forgiven fast enough. Specially ones that hadn't even started to heal. He tried calming himself, a rational approach. "I know our relationship has... restrictions but you've never even tried to do something about it. You're always avoiding having serious discussions-"

"I love you, Why the fuck would I want to have an arguement with you?" Deku could feel Katsuki's walls coming right back up again. The moment the blond sensed things were out of crisis mode it was back to his old self.

But he wasn't giving up that easily. "Not every discussion has to be an arguement."

"It sure fucking looks like it from here. You wanted to have a serious discussion with cheeks, she left saying she doesn't want to see us again and now even we are arguing."

"We wouldn't be arguing if you could-"

"So this is and arguement."

Deku swallowed. "You're doing it again Katsuki..." antagonizing him to avoid the issue.

"You're even calling me by my name and everything." He said with arms crossed over his chest. It was like a dare. Make it worse.

Deku sighed. "You make it really hard sometimes to believe you actually love me." There. He'd said it, the little wound that had festered for a whole year inside his brain after he'd absentmindedly mentionned marriage to Katsuki and he'd completely lost it.

"And you thought a pretend marriage would do the difference."

Izuku had half a mind to punch him then and there. He could feel the tears welling up in his eyes, he had always been a crier. "It wouldn't have killed you to at least pretend"

"It literally could have."

"Maybe if I was one of your mother's auditors you wouldn't care as much."

They both knew the discussion, or arguement, or whatever the fuck they were doing was over after that. He's not sure how long they stood in silence. Neither wanting to say anything next, fearing it might actually make things worse, it might mean an end neither of them really wanted. Finally, Izuku mustered the courage to silently make his way to the door. Katsuki took a step back out of his way, avoiding any possible last physical contact between them.

Deku rolls out of bed hoping breakfast willl make things slightly better and maybe help with his headache but he knows it is unlikely. His eyes feel like they might pop out of his skull at any given time from the late night crying and no amount of hearty breakfast can mend a broken heart. As he makes his way downstairs rubbing at the side of his head he is too distracted by the smell of eggs, bacon and coffee to notice there's an additional guest sitting at the table until he arrives at the end of the stairs and it's too late.

"Oh! he's finally awake" his mom greets in her usual cheerful tone, "Good morning hun!"
"Good morning Izuku" His father says next. "You don't look too good. Late night indulging only gets worse the older you get you know."

Next to his mother and across from his father is a lean man around Izuku's age who turns to him with a lazy look and what he could only describe as a chechiser cat grin that makes an unsettling match with the dark eyebags under his eyes.

"Do you rememeber Hitoshi Aizawa?"

Izuk's muddled brain is suddenly in very high alert. He focuses all his energy in controlling his breathing, with how Hitoshi looks at him it wouldn't surprise him if the man could smell fear like a cat. Or were those dogs?

He's trying his best to not show how his headache has suddenly spiked and feeling very selfconscious about his desicion to come downstairs still in his pijamas and sleeping robe. "Yes." His voice is not all there yet from last night. "I didn't know we had company, I'm sorry." He tries his best to close up his robe and tie it.

Hitoshi's smile grows the smalles bit, the same lazy non chalant smile he used to have as a kid. "Don't worry, it wasn't a planned trip. Just hit some car trouble on the road last night on my way back to Mustafu and knew this place was nearer. I'm glad Dr. Toshinori was kind enough to let me crash here for the night." That has to be the stupidest lie anyone could have come up with.
"Of course! I've been telling your father to come down but he always has some excuse. I'm surprised you rememebered and glad you thought to ask for me." But it had been good enough for his parents apparently.

"Well my father talks about you a lot sir, he's always praising how kind you are, he has a deep respect for you sir." Hitoshi seems to have grown into a professional sweet talker of sorts.

"Oh isn't that nice of Shota!" His mom says, "We should meet up when we're back in the city sometime."

"I'll be sure to tell my dad ma'am. That's very kind of you, I'll finish up here and get out of your hair."

Deku almost sighs relieved. Maybe the car trouble wasn't a lie and he was really just passing by.

"You're leaving so soon!" his mother almost leaped from her seat to stop the unmoving Hitoshi. He's already dreading her next words. "Izuku, why don't you show him around the place before he leaves?"

"Umm..." Izuku turns to Hitoshi. They hadn't seen each other in a long time and even then it had been one night. Sure, it was a forming experience for him but it had been eyars ago, he doesn't really know the man sitting having breakfast with his parents. And so he probably does know Ochako but that doesn't mean he's here because of what happenned last night.

"Oh, would that be ok? I'd love to take a look around, maybe I can convince my dad to accept your offer next year Dr. toshinori" The purple haired man says before Izuku can respond, almost mockingly. The next part, in case Izuku hadn't gotten the hint, he says looking at him straigh in the eyes, "I've heard the gym facilities are pretty good."

Katsuki has never had an issue with mounting the boxing bags up. Specially the light ones for the highschool kids filled with bravado to come and knock around with their inexperienced punches hoping to impress the girls who come for Mina's workout at midday. Today however, he keeps missing the joints. The bags aren't the only ones giving him issues. He dropped two weights before and stubbed his toe during breakfast in his own appartment. His head just isn't in the right place and you'd think with how much he's trying to focus on the things he's doing to avoid thinking about the previous night's fight he shouldn't be gettin in these many accidents. But as he misses the clasp for the fourth time in a row he screams in frustration letting the bag thump to the ground. He kicks at it as well for good measure and screams again when the previously stubbed toe aches after receiving another hit.

Fucking useles bag. Fucking useles weights. Fucking useles coffee table. Fucking useless toe and fucking useles him.

What is wrong with him? What is wrong with Deku? Saying Katsuki doesn't love him. If anything he loved him too much.

If he didn't he would've already ended things between them which was the reasonable thing to do from the start. Scratch that, the reasonable thing to do from the start was not do anything at all but he is past expecting reasonable behaviour from his teenage self. He was being selfish, they both were really. Deku had gotten too comfortable with their relationship and now involving cheeks? Thinking all three of them could be together like a big happy forever family? Laughable.

He could hear his mothers cackles in the back of his mind, Katsuki knew better than this. He shouldn't have let Deku go through with it, now he felt like he was loosing them both. He'd been too greedy that is the real issue.

His thoughts are interrupted with the sound of the gym door opening. He takes a deep breath preparing his cusotmer service face, half greatful for the distraction and half hating having to tend to clients in his miserable state. It all becomes irrelevant anyway when Deku himself walks through the door with the personification of insomnia beside him.

He makes his way towards them, his relief fighting the bubling anger that wants to break to the surface. He can't belive after the fight they had the night before Deku brought some other man to his workplace.

Said purple man eyes him from head to toes and skips the greetings alltogether before Katsuki can even get a word in.

"He's cute I'll give you that but I didn't picture you to go for a bad boy type Izuku." Katsuki freezes in his tracks, cutomer service face be damned as alarms ring inside his head. Relief vanishes a second enough for anger to surface.

"Who the fuck are you?" The man walks up to him with a sleezy confidence that Kastuki already despises.

"Hitoshi Aizawa," he reaches to one of his arms, "are those funcitonal or just for show?"

"Get your fucking hands of me eyebags." Katsuki shakes him off but the man only grins in a way that clearly shows how beneath him he thinks Kastuki is.

"Relax pomeranian, I like my blonds with a little more glam and a lot less attitude."

"You wanna fight?" At this point he's just looking for an excuse to punch something.

"Sure, I got a few seconds to spare"

"Motherfu-"

"Alright!" in a blink Deku is between them. "Katsuki! This is Hitoshi, he is Ochako's friend from Mustafu."

Katsuki composes himself just enough to not appear rabbid. "And what's he doing here?"

"She called me last night and asked me to come get her." Hitoshi answers, all teasing tone has let his voice, "and from what I've seen I don't blame her."

"Hey! What happenned betwe-"

"Save it. She told me her side of things and as far as I'm concerned that's the only side that matters."

"You're a real impartial guy huh"

"What gave you the impression that I was here to be impartial?"

Hitoshi isn't a big guy. Around the same height as Deku and lean but nothing close to matching Katsuki. He could take him on a fight; and yet there is something on those eyebag-heavy eyes, a deep unsettling look that just doesn't sit right with Katsuki. He doesn't like how this guy is coming on to them as if he's Cheek's knight in shinning armor.

"Right, you're here for Cheeks. 'cause you're what? Her best friend? Is that why you told her no one would ever love her and that she'd have to settle for some 3rd class loser if she ever got tired of being on her own?"

That fazes him more than he lets on, but it's enough for Katsuki. "I wasn't a good friend, that much I can see now, and I apologized for that but that's why I'm trying to help out here."

"Help how?" Deku asks.

"I convinced her to stay the night and sleep on it, she's devastated, I've never seen her like this over a..." he eyes them thoughtfully, "relationship.  Which means, in the strangest way, that you were doing something right."

Katsuki can practically hear Deku vibratting with anticipation. He hasn't given up on this yet. whatever this is, but Katsuki isn't as sure.

"Ochako doesn't want to leave, not really. She needs time and space to think about it but I'm sure she has very strong feelings for you. But that doesn't mean she will stay, that woman has had to make some tough calls through her life and even if I'm sure it's what she wants if she gets the sense that being with you is not in her best interest you'll never hear from her again."

"What if she's right?"

"What?"

"Katsuki?"

"Maybe she should leave."

Hitoshi's eyebrows lift in surprise but his face remains as calm as it was.

"Hitoshi, could you please excuse us for a moment?"

The purple man eyes them both warily. "Sure." And he makes his way out the door.

The second their guest is out of earshot Deku turns to him "What are you doing?" his boyfriend's eye's rove around his face searching for an explanation.

"What I should've donde from the start, put a damn stop to this." Deku's brow only deepens, "Be reasonable Deku, things are already messy with us as it is, it would only get worse with Cheeks in the mix. It's better if we go back to how things were, just the two of us and we let her carry on with her life."

"I thought you loved her too."

"And I do but..." he doesn't want to fight with him. He still hasn't recovered from their last fight, "but some things are just too complicated."

"You mean not worth the effort?" The acussing tone shows it's nasty fangs.

"It's not what's best for her."

"You don't get to decide that!"

"Well she seemed to have made up her mind on her own yesterday."

"You heard Hitoshi, she just needs time. We still have a chance we just have to be there for her, we just have to show her that what we feel is real and honest."

"Deku she's fine, we are fine, we don't need her."

"It's not about needing!"

Katsuki hates it when he makes Deku scream. Because it's always his fault. Deku is smart and collected and presentable, Katsuki is the hot tempered one, he's the one with the unhealthy relationship with conflict, he's the messy one, he's the one who's supposed to scream.

"It's about wanting! Do you want her? Do you want her in our relationship?"

"Of course I do but-"

"Then why won't you fight for her with me?" And Katsuki isn't even sure how to answer himself, he just knows it's not something he should do, it's a wrong thing even if he doesn't understand why. "You have the strongest drive of anyone I know. I've seen what you're capable of with it but when it comes to you, to us, it's like you're a different person."

"You know why." He prays that Deku knows, he must know, he's smart, smarter than him. He has to know. "Don't make me fucking say it."

Deku's tone softens. "You need to let go of that Katsuki. You can't live like this."

"Do't tell me to do that when the alternative is losing you."

"You are not losing me. I promise we will be... careful. Just, give us the chance to at least talk about it, the three of us. I understand bringing up marriage and this schemeing was the wrong way to go about it but I was just scared to lose you, you understand that part at least right?"

"Yeah..."

"So will you help me win our girlfriend back?"

Katsuki gives him a weak grin. "Don't ever fucking say that I don't fucking love you." A chance he could give at least.

Purple man is outside smoking in the gym cabin's steps when they emerge.

"Sorry about that." Katsuki starts, "we still had some things to talk about afer last night."

The man shrugged, "I get it." and it genuienly feels like he does "Relationships are harder for people like us and I'm not here to judge you." Then he turns stern again "But I am gonna ask that you're on the same page concerning Ochako."

"We are," they both answer.

"Good, then step one is getting her to listen to your groveling apology."

It is well past midday and Ochako is still in bed. This time, when her father came up calling for her she'd turnned him away.

She'd returned home way past midnight. She'd roammed arund the resort grounds looking for the most secluded area possible to cry to her heart's content and had found a nice quite spot to do so. Despite this, her heart didn't feel any less heavy than before, the night was getting colder but she hadn't felt ready to go back to the cabin. In the end she made her way tot he almot empty phone booths to call the only person she could count on in a situation like this.

Hitoshi had arrived sooner than she'd expected and if she'd been in a healthier state of mind maybe she'd though to reprimmend his fast driving. But she wasn't. So she only whimpered into his chest as she alternated between sobbing and explaining the past weeks of her resort stay. Hitoshi didn't iterrupt her and nodded and frowned at the appropriate times. He held her tight when she needed to and gave her space when she wanted to flail her hands around. Hitoshi has always been a great listener. Which makes him a great boyfriend to Denki who is an avid talker.

"Do you really want to leave?" He finally asked once her recounting was done.

"I can't stay! I can't... be around them I..." she trails of feeling more confused that angry.

"You hate them?"

It's what she wanted to say. It's what had been playing in her mind non stop since she left them at their appartment. "Yes." But even she knows the spite isn't there anymore. Most of it left while she talked with her friend, went out of her chest as the words left her mouth.

Hitoshi tightens his hold on her as they both sit side by side near the giant lake in th emiddle of the resort. The bugs have been bothering her for soem time now but she couldn't have had this conversation at her parents cabin. From the light in a nearby lamp post Ochako could barely make out the sad little smile her friend was giving her.

"I don't think you should leave." Deep down she knew she didn't want to leave either, but she hadn't expected Hitoshi to be the one to say it outloud. "What they did was wrong, a little fucked up but I do get it. Denki and I are fine with what we have and most of the people we hangout with now are cool with it. But Denki did get kicked out of his home a long time ago, in  another city. It broke him and it's a pain that I can't do anything to erase."

"I didn't know that, he always looks..."

Ochako suddenly feels very self concious about all the times she joked in front of them about how glad she was that Dr. Aizawa knew of them because she wouldn't have been able to keep the secret for long.

"Happy? Yeah, he's a real ray of sunshine and that's because he was raised in a house filled with love, which is why it came as a shock when he was asked to leave. I told you my dad knows Izuku's, I understand why Izuku wants to live with Katsuki. The guy probably grew up in this ever loving home and just wants that for his boyfriend too. Katsuki probably wasn't as lucky an is more guarded."

"I get why they did it, it doesn't make it right."

"No, it doesn't. I have to admit I am surprised, I didn't think someone like Izuku would end up being such a dick."

"What do you mean?"

"You know, being able to pretend to be in love with someone else? Specially while being around his boyfriend, then roping in the boyfriend too! And when they're caught spin it into a love triangle situation? You gotta be a particualr kind of devious to pull that off."

"So you think they weren't lying? Is that it?"

"I think you're the smartest person I know. I've seen you call bulshit from men a mile away, and not just romantic bulshit. My dad told me about the guild poker game that eneded with you banned. You're not gullibale Ochako, you're angry because you think they played you but I think you're just convincing yourself this is too good to be true."

"So I should give them another chance?"

"I think you should do whatever you want to do. But you deserve to make an informed decision."

"Even if I gave them another chance do you realize what that means? Dating two people at once? Unheard of. My mother would send me to a nunery, my dad might have a stroke. Anyone and everyone I know would-"

"Reject you? Give you the stink eye on the street? You won't be able to attend family events probably or church of course, which is contradictory because a lot of people will think you need religious help. But the people who will do that to you aren't good people Ochako." He places a hand over hers, "And for the record just because you haven't heard of it doesn't mean it's unheard of."

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have."

"It's ok, I'm not trying to make you feel guilty for having it less worse I'm just trying to tell you it's challenging, not bad and you wouldn't be alone. I'm not going anywhere and your boss wouldn't care. Like I said, do whatever feels right for you. But make it an informed decision." with that he starts getting up. "Besides, it's late and I would like to sleep before the trip back." Ochako sighs. "And I think you would at least want say goodbye to your parents in case you do chose to leave."

She'd completely forgotten about them in the chaos. She's not sure she'll like any conversation with her mother regardless of what she choses in the end. Not after how she'd said things were going wonderful with Izuku. There's only so much she could hide, specially considering how Katsuki showed up at the cabin. She wouldn't blame them if they though she'd been two timing the guys, at one point she really thought she was. Turns out she had nothing to be worried about in that front. "Just leaving them a note doesn't sound so terrible right now."

"But you're not that kind of daughter."

She sighs. "I'm not."

"And I was not joking about wanting to sleep you know."

Ochako ponders if she made the righ decision staying till the morning. After talking things with Hitoshi and a good nights sleep she could almost fool herself into believing last night's events where a long time ago. But they weren't. And as the harsh summer light starts warming up her bedsheets to an uncomfortable degree she is forced to start her day.

She decides the immediate thing to do in her list is explain to her parents that her boss needs her back at uni after an important development in their research. She thinks she cried enough yesterday to be able to pull of the lie without cracking. Downstairs the cabin is empty but there is a note indicating her mother left her share of breakfast aside for when she came down. She silently munches on the cold blueberry pancakes mentaly going through the list of things she needs to pack. Talking to her parents is on hold for the moment which means she needs to find Hitoshi. She'd offered him the couch in the cabin out of courtsey but they both knew it would be easier if her parents weren't aware of him. Less questions to answer.

She finishes breakfast and cleans herself up enough to go out in public. She purposefully avoids the areas close tot he gym while in her search and thankfully she finds Hitoshi's unmistakeable purple hair hiding from the sun reading a book under a tree.

"I've been looking for you." Pruple eyes look up from their reading and follow her as she sits next to him.

"I figured you would, that's why I've been staying right here all morning." He shows her he's almost halfway through his book. This place is pretty cool, Denki would love it."

Ochako agrees. "I think they'll have another firework show in a few week."

"I might bring him for that." He turns to her. "Will we find you here?"

Ochako doesn't want to leave, she's hurt, deeply hurt and although it's true that the easiest thing would be to leave and never look back on the past month it's undeniable that the time she spent with them had been the highlight of her summer. Maybe for the first time in her life she was genuinely happy and looking forward to a future where she wouldn't be alone and even she knew when you struck gold you shouldn't let go of it that easily.

"Can you wait for me another day?"

Hitoshi smiles. "Already booked a room for the night."
