Souji watched in slight confusion as Amy and King debated the best way to get a giant stuffed plush Stegosaurus into the Spirit Base.
“Come on, Souji, help push it in!” King said, startling the high schooler.
“Ah, okay,” Souji agreed, pushing and prodding the blue Stegosaurus into the manhole cover that was the hidden entry point.
“Thanks, Souji!” King said once they got it in, clapping him on the back. “Aren’t they great? Amy got them, custom made by her parents!”
Souji nodded in confusion, made no less confused when the three of them were in the Spirit Base with six stuffed dinosaurs.
“Come on, let’s get them set up!” King was enthusiastic, as usual, and Amy was happy too as she instructed Souji where to place the dinos.
“Wow! They look nice!” Amy said once they were all set up.
Souji raised his eyebrows but didn’t say anything. If it made them happy, that was enough for him.
