Chapter 1: 1
Chapter Text
The shoeless young woman stood at the entrance of a cave carved into the Throat of the World, it was her home. Her stomach showing off a baby belly that was to soon fade away with birth, a son was to be born in a moon or sooner. Paarthurnax, the kin of the World Eater Alduin, was the one who made sure the h-c woman stayed alive as he felt responsible for her. She was the Mate and Queen to Alduin, y-n was her name. She was the Dragonborn, the youngest of 13 siblings, and born from a Nordic Mage Mother and a High Dragon Priest.
Y-n's mother left her because her daughter was more beautiful than herself, she never once thought about the consequences about abandoning her youngest child and only daughter. Her father took care of her when she was left without anyone, never would he shun her for being lovely. As the girl grew she spoke and sang in the Dragon Tounge to keep herself company as she wandered Skyrim with her father looking for anything of use to the dragons. They walked for days y-n often have a dragon-sized appetite so she fed on the leftovers from other animal's people's or even their own kills.
It wasn't the best choice yet she didn't know how to hunt so she chose to watch how the animals hunted. Aldiun watched in surpise as she took well to her father's teachings but one day everything went from bad to worse. Y-n got separated from her father and the mist of the woods around her made it hard to find the right path. When she heard someone's voice she turned to see a young man her age and his eyes were like a dragon's; it was the shape of his pupils, they were in slits.
The man grabbed her wrist tightly and took advantage of her all the while y-n cried pleading to be let go. The man harmed her so badly she was almost dead when her father found her. He made his daughter drink a dead dragon's blood to heal her and took her up the mountain to the Temple of the Dragon Priests. There she stayed for five days when she was fully healed Alduin had requested to see y-n, alone.
She walked barefoot in snow heading for the Throat of the World were she could everything for miles and miles. The sound of flapping wings hit her eardrums the black dragon flew around the peak when Alduin spotted the girl as she spoke in dragon. It was inborn ability only a few mortals had. Only those of Dovah sos, dragon blood, could understand the words exchaned.
"So you've come Dovahkiin." His eyes kept her at the center of his attention rang.
Y-n bowed to the firstborn son of Akatosh knowing he was king of all dragons even to her. As she rose up Alduin examined her the way one would examine a precious stone for impurities. And he saw none in this jewel. She wasn't afraid of him and held more respect than any dragon would.
Her father knew that she could be the one his lord and king was looking for. He shifted his form to that of a man with bright red hair and fierce silver eyes. His skin was a tan color with patches of white on the back of his neck. He was a foot taller than the Dovahkiin, with her being only y-h (your height) tall. Her heart pounded in her chest and that moment everything became clear; y-n was to be Alduin's mate and queen.
Half of a year later the three heroes defeated Alduin yet they didn't find his expecting mate thanks to Paarthurnax. That was several moons ago and those three would pay in due time, that y-n knew. Even though she hate them for take her pup's father she would never forget how this world treated their kind. The dragons were nothing but dumb beasts and unforgiving creatures. Which was true to a point most had families to care for much like their queen would.
Y-n knew her babe would need a better place to live, a snowy mountain cave was no place for a child let alone a dragon blooded baby. Suddenly pain hit her like an avalanche she was having her child and the greybeards were the only mortals to help. When Alduin was defeated the all of dragon priests when into hidding, including y-n's father.
After almost three hours the babe was born a nordic boy with h-c hair and silver eyes.
Y-n remembered the last thing Paarthurnax had said to her.
"I sense something that I suspect you do not," he began, hesitating. "I have begun to sense the presence of another Dovahkiin."
Her eyes widened. "Another? Where? I must find this person... I mean... individual. I need their help. It's quite evident I cannot take on our kind on my own. Where can I find them?"
He shook his tremendous head slowly. "You do not understand. The presence is here. Within you."
"What... what are you telling me, Paarthurnax?"
"You are with child, Y-n. You are pregnant."
She had a son four moons after that with her h-c hair and her beloved's silver eyes. Her immortal blood would make her child age slower and live longer than anyone else.
With a heavy heart the queen found a good place for her son... A descent family with a recently dead baby boy that wanted to regain what they had lost. Placing the baby in a basket on the doorstep and a note on his blanket y-n knocked on the door and hid out of sight from the owners. She had no choice but to give up her son hoping that he could forgive one day.
Chapter 2: II
Chapter Text
The clattering of hooves against cobblestone and the sway of the prison cart wakes a young man long h-c braided hair and silver eyes. There were three other men along with a lone woman in the cart, she looked familiar to him. The man to his left was Ralof of Riverwood, a Stormcloak soilder, who waisted no time speaking up.
As he listens he looks to his right he saw Lokir of Rorikstead, and the last man was Ulfric Stormcloak. The woman was bound and blindfolded her h-c hair shined in the sunlight. Her head turned to the sky mas she smiled a tear rolling down her face.
The convoy continues towards the gates of Helgan, a fortiflied hamlet in Falkreath Hold. The group pass Gerenal Tullius with the Thalmor. After the cart stops the woman is the first out of the cart with Ulfric, Lokir, the young man, and Ralof followed.
One by one they were called, Ulfric first, Ralof second, Lokir thrid. Only for the man to run and get shot dying as he hit the ground. The woman was called up, Y-n the Maiden of High Hrothgar. The young man was called up last, Arven Argo. All of them were sent to the chopping block, when a loud roaring hits everyone's ears. The headsman igorns the sound but Arven notices Y-n grins at the sound knowing what, or rather, who it is.
One man was beheaded and Y-n was called up to die yet she wouldn't move. When the guards tried to grab her the h-c haired woman turned in a spin landing a kick on the first man's left cheek sending him to the ground. His weapon flew through the air and sliced her bounds her hands lite with magic.
What surprised everyone was the fact she raised her head and shouted out a blueish-red wave to the skies. A black dragon flew through the air arcing before it lands on the central tower and unleashed a shout that knocked all but y-n down.
"Alduin, dii ahmul... Dii love.*" she said smiling with a loving gaze in the black dragon's dircetion. "Nii lost been ful ligrah fah zu'u lost seen hi.**"
The dragon lowered his tail letting y-n climb up as Arven was sent to run throughout the now burning hold. Alduin took to the sky people shooting at him and his Queen. Jumping from her perch on Alduin's back y-n snapped a man's neck under her weight and took his weapons killing many imperial soldiers that tried to stop or touch Arven. She only trust the young man whose hair resembled her own, she knew that young man's face all to well. Arven kept running from the soilders and dragon, knowing he would somehow escape.

Chapter 3: III
Chapter Text
Arven raced with Ralof to Riverwood not knowing they were being followed by Y-n in the shadows. Arven was welcomed by Gerder, Ralof's sister, who was nice but the young man couldn't stay for to long in fear these people would be hurt. The rode to Whiterun was a long one yet half way to the hold Arven heard screaming. A pack of five wolves had a young woman stuck up in tree with a bleeding leg.
Quickly killing three of the five wolves the last two ran, Arven noticed the woman climbing down. Her leg had overlapping bit marks and he reconized her from the mess in Helgan.
"You?!" Arven yelled as y-n winced from the pain. "What are you doing here?"
"Look..." The h-c haired woman gazing up at him with tear filled eyes. "I'm not anymore happy to meet this way than you are. But I will explain if you can at the least give my a potion or bandages."
Arven sighed and kneeled rummaging through his napsack finding only bandages. Tossing them to y-n she began wrapping her wounded leg.
"Thank you." She tossed the bandages back to her odd friend. "As to answer why I'm here." She cleared her throat. "A dragon, unlike the one from this morning, dropped me in a clearing and left me for dead. I'm surprised he didn't try to eat me... That dragon from this morning is called Alduin, the First born son of Akatosh."
"How do you know that?" Arven asked more in shock of the dragon's name than her reasoning.
"I know only by the tales left behind... I was crystallized so I don't know how much time has passed since my 20th birthday. The Greybeards kept me safeguarded until the crystal weakened enough for me to be freed." Y-n sigh then spoke in the Dragon Tongue. "Arven dreh hi ni emtiin tol nid gein wahl nii tir do Dovah iidah unharmed, pogaas med hi lost?" 1*
"Zok wahl nii tir voth ahraan nuz druv los hi sahgaat tol? Los hi really y-n, faal Vahdin do Lok Hrothgar?" 2* Arven clapped a hand over this mouth now in shock of the new tongue he had spoken in.
She laughed at his reaction and gave her head a shake. "Pruzah drehlaan Arven hi nunon qethserod ko faal Dovahro Vun Nuz ko pah vahzen, waan Zu'u lost ni wo Zu'u los, Zu'u fund lost zereis hin ruus naal nu. Zu'u bo wah Ahrolsedovah nuz Zu'u didn't ofaal til ziin sul vod med Zu'u laan." 3*
"Vir drey Zu'u nunon..." 4* He was cut off by y-n.
"Zu'u fen gelaar tol zuspein..." 5* She cleared her throat. "Now shall we get going? I'd like to get somewhere with high walls before I become another animal's next meal."
"Right," Arven said getting her injured side against him beginning to walk. "I can't exactly carry you without having the bandages coming loose."
"That's fine." She sighed, "Just as long as we get to a safe place."

1* Arven do you not realize that no one makes it out of a Dragon attack unharmed, much like you have?
2* Most make it out with wounds but why are you saying that? Are you really y-n, the Maiden of High Hrothgar?
3* Well done Arven you just spoke in the Dragon's Tongue. But in all truth, if I wasn't who I am, I would have slit your throat by now. I was going to Whiterun but I didn't get there two days ago like I wanted.
4* How did I just...
5* I will explain that later...
Chapter 4: IV
Chapter Text
Arven got y-n to Whiterun without much more trouble when the Companions took notice of them. A giant had nearly crushed them with his club. Arven explained their reasons for the trouble. He had to translate most y-n's words because her english wasn't the best.
When Arven left Y-n in Jarl Balgruuf's court wizard, Farengar's, care for her leg a scroll rolled off of the table landed at his foot. He bent down picking up the scroll and unrolled it.
"After a fortnight I was at last granted an audience with her majesty, Y-n of the Dragons. I must confess, she is unlike any woman I have ever encountered. Beautiful, yet inscrutable; calculating, even. She surrounds herself with the Jills of the Skies. No men stand near her, save the King of the Dragons. When I met with her alone, I came to realize that she is not at all what she seems.
I was sent by my lord to spy on her... to assess the strength of the dragon armies. But now I feel she is the one assessing me.
My lord has perhaps underestimated the threat of Dragons. Though I cannot gauge the true strength of her Wing, I cannot deny a powerful feeling that the Dragon Queen should not be trifled with."
Arven quickly shoved the scroll into his pack when he heard footsteps. Y-n was helped by Farengar back to Arven, the said young man could tell she was not comfortable in the presence of mortals or whatever the reason was making her stand ready to bolt for an open window.
Jarl Balgruuf welcomed Arven with open arms but the man's next words sent y-n to a shouting fit.
"The woman must leave she isn't civilized enough to be in my halls. She is a traitor to Skyrim itself siding with those who want to rip the very ground apart."
"Hi Mey Do Aan Joor ! Zu'u Los Ni Nunon Aan Vahdin !! Zu'u Los Aan Dovahkiin !!! Ful Kos Fron Ko Fin Koraav Do Ok Dim!!!!" 1*
Everyone but Arven was taken aback at the language she used and the fire lighting the room dimmed when she yelled. The glow of the embers giving her e-c eyes an ominous glow which translated to them as to not speak ill of her to her face or of Arven in her presence.
"Y-n Drem . Zu'u Fen Tinvaak Fah Hi. Dein Hin Klov Ahrk Hon Zul Tum. Zu'u Fen Vahzah Daar ." 2*
Y-n growled but kept her tongue. "Yuvon... Nuz Gein Folaas Bo Ahrk Rok Fen Ag Fah Ok Rot." 3*
"Ni." 4* Arven nodded than turned to the Jarl and cautioned them all to be kind to y-n so her temper wouldn't explode. "Jarl Balgruuf if y-n can't be in this room with me you might as well throw us both out of the hall."
The Jarl was about to speak when a loud roar from some type of animal came through the open windows. Arven and Y-n glanced at each other before running out on the balcony. This was when Arven thought he had seen the last of Alduin, a golden Dragon dropped flapping and grabbed y-n in his mouth.
This made her scream since it had been a while for her feet to be forced off the ground. However, what she yelled shook everyone watching to their cores.
"Alduin!"
The sound of a roar and a black blur rammed into the golden dragon. Y-n went flying up into the air before she landing in one of Alduin's back feet safely. A blast of fire was armed at the golden dragon singeing more then half of his face and wing making him flee.
Without much thought given to the mortals below him Alduin flew off to land at the Throat of the World. His claws slackened letting y-n fall face first into the snow. She didn't complain when her dress was grabbed by the Dragon King's teeth and set on her feet.
"Daar lost ni nau dii hahdrim..." 5* Y-n muttered when a nudge at her back made her turn and rub the World Eater's nose.
"Los hi ahraan dii jud?" 6* His voice rippled through her bones and had waited countless years to see those sunlit e-c eyes again.
"Nid... Zu'u los kul..." 7*
" Wo lost daar kiir ?" 8*
"Rok los aan Dovahkiin, med zu'u ahrk... Ek..." 9* Her voice had a slight growl woven in knowing that she who had betrayed the dragons could still be alive.
Yet only time would be the telling point.

1* "You fool of a mortal! I am not only a woman!! I am a Dragonborn !!! So be kind in the sight of his honor!!!!"
2* "Y-n peace. I have to speak for you. Keep your head and your voice down. I will right this.
3* "Fine... But one wrong move and he will burn for his words."
4* "Noted."
5* "That was not on my mind...."
6* "Are you hurt my queen?"
7* "No... I am good..."
8* "Who was that boy?"
9* "He is a Dragonborn , like me and... Her..."
Chapter 5: V
Chapter Text
Arven began to help out the Jarls becoming Thane to all, but Ulfric and Elisif. This process took only a day or two complete their requests. The Greybeards began teaching the young man the Way of the Voice during this time he found them treating y-n who was had collapsed in the courtyard just as Master Borri was meditating near the path lead to the mountain's peak.
Arven wasn't sure what happened to her yet something in himself told him that is wasn't an animal. It had to be something or rather someone else. He had met Delphine, a Blade, yet she was in Riverwood. It could have been the Thalmor but they wouldn't make it up this high due to all the animals and mad winds.
The h-c young man sat down at her bed side and looked at her ankles that was heavily bandaged. As he sat there he noticed her breathing picked up and she curled up on herself holding her middle. He heard her whimpering, possibly a nightmare.
'There isn't much I can do...' He sighed in his head until he realized something. 'I haven't slept fully in four days.... A good rest sounds great anyways.'
With that he laid down and soon fell into a deep sleep.
A whispering voice pulled at his subconscious and his dragon soul started to yearn for the speaker's. The voice was soft, surely that of a woman's, yet Arven couldn't tell whose.
"Aal Yostrah Frein Kotin Kii"*
The mist of the dream sea parted to show an island covered in ash. There on the dock was a woman that looked around his age nordic as could be and beautiful. (A-n: Arven looks about 25 and his real age is about 3,925 years.) Her hair was a pure golden color that was all the way down to her hips. The most curious thing was the mask on her face the was just above her mouth.
The mask unlike anything he had seen before. Her voice echoed in the mist, calling out for Arven as if begging him for help. There wasn't a smile on her face but a sad, pitiful tone as she spoke in the Dragon tongue.
"Aal Fin Lok Gejahrii Voth Fin Lovaas Do Dovahs"*
She rose from her kneeling and stepped off of the dock that was slowly showing from the mist mixed up with the ashy fog. She didn't sink when her foot hit the water instead she walked on the glassy surface. Arven knew that in dreams, things that most refused to acknowledge happened in some form. All he could do was watch as the maiden let her voice ring away like a bell chiming at dawn.
"Fin Rah Do Dinok Fen Bo Fah Pah,
Fin Kun Do Fin Krein Fent Kos Dunaak Ahst Ok Vukom,"*
Now her voice seemed to be almost a scream but it was still in the tone of a whisper. Arven saw her lips twisted in a cruel yet sorrowful smile, it looked like she was in pain and regretting whatever she had done.
"Lokluv Fent Meyz Sos,
Nunon Ziin Sil Heim Asht Irkbaan Ahrk Rahgot,
Vis Drun Fin Laat Do Ok Vukom,
Nunon Ahst Fin Laat Do Daar Sis Grah"*
Tears feel from the eyes that were hidden behind the mask. There was something staining her priestess robes, the color was of blood. A black spike of sorts plunged through her middle blood spurting the wound. Her tears became bloody along with the corners of her mouth that dribbled into the water. Her voice was wavering, fading with her life as the last lines flew out in form of questions.
"Vis Hi Kos Fin Gein?
Fen Hi Kos Fin Gein?
Wah Sav Daar Krent Sil?"*
Arven bolted up as a cold sweat settled on the back of his neck. That was the first time someone died in his dreams and it made him feel weak. He hated being weak yet seeing that female her voice was a pleading mess. He wanted to help but how could he when he didn't know where she was residing at. Shacking his a head to clear his mind Arven laid back down and stared at the ceiling until he fell back asleep with no dreams this time.
