Chapter Text

The shoeless young woman stood at the entrance of a cave carved into the Throat of the World, it was her home. Her stomach showing off a baby belly that was to soon fade away with birth, a son was to be born in a moon or sooner. Paarthurnax, the kin of the World Eater Alduin, was the one who made sure the h-c woman stayed alive as he felt responsible for her. She was the Mate and Queen to Alduin, y-n was her name. She was the Dragonborn, the youngest of 13 siblings, and born from a Nordic Mage Mother and a High Dragon Priest.

Y-n's mother left her because her daughter was more beautiful than herself, she never once thought about the consequences about abandoning her youngest child and only daughter. Her father took care of her when she was left without anyone, never would he shun her for being lovely. As the girl grew she spoke and sang in the Dragon Tounge to keep herself company as she wandered Skyrim with her father looking for anything of use to the dragons. They walked for days y-n often have a dragon-sized appetite so she fed on the leftovers from other animal's people's or even their own kills.

It wasn't the best choice yet she didn't know how to hunt so she chose to watch how the animals hunted. Aldiun watched in surpise as she took well to her father's teachings but one day everything went from bad to worse. Y-n got separated from her father and the mist of the woods around her made it hard to find the right path. When she heard someone's voice she turned to see a young man her age and his eyes were like a dragon's; it was the shape of his pupils, they were in slits.

The man grabbed her wrist tightly and took advantage of her all the while y-n cried pleading to be let go. The man harmed her so badly she was almost dead when her father found her. He made his daughter drink a dead dragon's blood to heal her and took her up the mountain to the Temple of the Dragon Priests. There she stayed for five days when she was fully healed Alduin had requested to see y-n, alone.

She walked barefoot in snow heading for the Throat of the World were she could everything for miles and miles. The sound of flapping wings hit her eardrums the black dragon flew around the peak when Alduin spotted the girl as she spoke in dragon. It was inborn ability only a few mortals had. Only those of Dovah sos, dragon blood, could understand the words exchaned.

"So you've come Dovahkiin." His eyes kept her at the center of his attention rang.

Y-n bowed to the firstborn son of Akatosh knowing he was king of all dragons even to her. As she rose up Alduin examined her the way one would examine a precious stone for impurities.  And he saw none in this jewel. She wasn't afraid of him and held more respect than any dragon would.

Her father knew that she could be the one his lord and king was looking for. He shifted his form to that of a man with bright red hair and fierce silver eyes. His skin was a tan color with patches of white on the back of his neck. He was a foot taller than the Dovahkiin, with her being only y-h (your height) tall. Her heart pounded in her chest and that moment everything became clear; y-n was to be Alduin's mate and queen.

Half of a year later the three heroes defeated Alduin yet they didn't find his expecting mate thanks to Paarthurnax. That was several moons ago and those three would pay in due time, that y-n knew. Even though she hate them for take her pup's father she would never forget how this world treated their kind. The dragons were nothing but dumb beasts and unforgiving creatures. Which was true to a point most had families to care for much like their queen would.

Y-n knew her babe would need a better place to live, a snowy mountain cave was no place for a child let alone a dragon blooded baby. Suddenly pain hit her like an avalanche she was having her child and the greybeards were the only mortals to help. When Alduin was defeated the all of dragon priests when into hidding, including y-n's father.
After almost three hours the babe was born a nordic boy with h-c hair and silver eyes.

Y-n remembered the last thing Paarthurnax had said to her.

"I sense something that I suspect you do not," he began, hesitating. "I have begun to sense the presence of another Dovahkiin."

Her eyes widened. "Another? Where? I must find this person... I mean... individual. I need their help. It's quite evident I cannot take on our kind on my own. Where can I find them?"

He shook his tremendous head slowly. "You do not understand. The presence is here. Within you."

"What... what are you telling me, Paarthurnax?"

"You are with child, Y-n. You are pregnant."

She had a son four moons after that with her h-c hair and her beloved's silver eyes. Her immortal blood would make her child age slower and live longer than anyone else.

With a heavy heart the queen found a good place for her son... A descent family with a recently dead baby boy that wanted to regain what they had lost. Placing the baby in a basket on the doorstep and a note on his blanket y-n knocked on the door and hid out of sight from the owners. She had no choice but to give up her son hoping that he could forgive one day.
