Summary
The Wonders of Failed Oblivion concerns the greater canon that encompasses my works. Primarily, in relation to the main work in the series, Down The Steeper Steps of Slumber. The idea is to one day write a story concerning every character within Symphogear, and explore them and give them the justice they deserve, and are all internally canon with each other, and the five seasons of the show.
The Symphogear manga and XDU canon are not considered factors here.

"風の鳴く頃に (Kaze no naku koro ni)": lit. "at the time when the wind cries".
June 22nd, 2041. The supernatural disaster known as "the Noise" besiege a pop concert in Tokyo, claiming the lives of thousands in what later becomes known as the Zwei Wing Disaster. Kanade Amou, one half of the idol duo for whom the event is named, is among those who lose their lives in the attack.
June 17th, 2041. Tsubasa Kazanari, the other half of Zwei Wing, awakens from what she can only describe as a prophetic nightmare about their upcoming performance - and her partner's impending demise. Except, it all feels far too familiar to be just that.
