When Bobby looked at Dean in the eyes, he couldn't see what John was raving about: those were the eyes of a scared ten-year-old no matter how you looked at them, not the eyes of a 'defiant little rascal'. He tried to understand, he really did, but all he saw was a big angry man and a terrified little boy, and there was no questioning who was in the wrong there. So, he did what he never figured he would do.
"Leave him here," he said. "But don't come back."
And come back he didn't.
or, John leaves Dean at Bobby's at just ten years of age, taking only Sammy with him. Life goes on and kids grow up, and years later Dean is not the man John Winchester raised and Sam is not Dean's little brother.

Summary
Dean thought it would be hard to get a transfer to a different state, but all it took was a few forms to fill in and a talk with the chief and he was on his way to Los Angeles as Station 118’s newest member.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly until Dean had the misfortune of uttering the dreaded “Q word” and thrusting him and the rest of B-shift into the most chaotic shift imaginable. Thankfully he has the handsome head paramedic Castiel to show him the ropes and welcome him to the 118 family.

Summary

Summary
This one is longer. It's kind of a coffee shop/college au without real emphasis on either of those things. There's a... debutante ball... honestly, I had an idea and it all kind of got away from me, but I finished and it makes sense, so I'm not mad about it. I don't typically do one shots, and I'm not used to turning anything out at the rate of one a week, so I'm going to be proud of myself for these regardless, lol
