A comment which, of course, froze Rumi in her tracks.
Mira cut in, "We're going to a gay bar downtown. For pride month." she added, like it negated any possible arguments. "You still game?"
So, with a subtle nod, she'd doomed herself to this: an amalgam of sounds and smells and stylish women, because this was actually a lesbian bar, not a gay bar, a distinction that shouldn't matter. That is, unless of course, you are a terribly repressed bisexual. Lucky her.

Summary
This is backstory that I wrote for two of my OC's in my friends VtM campaign. I played as Mauve, trying to find a way to grow more powerful/evade the Camarilla once she gets added to the red list. The stakes were particularly high because she and her wife have adopted children, and the scandalous nature of their relationship means they have fleeting allies (mostly I worked with the anarchs and a new added species specific to the campaign).

“Umma,” Nari whispered in awe, her fingers tracing lightly along Mira’s skin, “you have patterns too… like Momma.”
It took Mira a second to process what she meant. She glanced down, finally realizing her daughter’s little hands were resting over the faint stretch marks that curved softly along the sides of her stomach.
“Oh,” Mira breathed, letting out a quiet laugh, “these aren’t patterns, plum.”
Nari blinked up at her, clearly unconvinced, waiting for more.
“They’re called stretch marks,” Mira explained gently, resting her own hand over Nari’s to guide her tiny fingertips. “When you were in my belly, you kept growing… and my stomach grew with you so you’d have more room. The marks showed up as my skin stretched to make space for you.”
Nari’s small brows furrowed, processing that with deep toddler concentration. Her fingertip traced along one of the faint silvery lines, feather-light and curious.
“I was in here?” she asked softly, glancing up at Mira like she was confirming the biggest secret in the world.
Mira’s chest warmed, a quiet ache pressing behind her ribs. She nodded slowly. “Mhm. The whole nine months.”

Mira and Zoey glanced at each other, then back to Rumi. Grinning at first, then faltering when they saw Rumi was serious.
"Wait...you're not joking?" Mira asked, slowly, as if waiting for a punchline.
Rumi shook her head, growing impatient when neither of them responded. But a part of her knew they didn't have to. Everything was beginning to fall into place, the casual touching, kissing, hell, even the sex, was never casual at all.
And Rumi felt like an idiot.
