Summary
You had hoped "moving away" (heavy on the air quotations) from Gotham after your brother got arrested and "died in an unfortunate accident" (you saw the videos, you would hardly call a giant alien starfish an accident) would put you on the up and up. Stop your life of petty crime, find a job (not likely), maybe even make some friends!
Sadly Metropolis isn't much friendlier than Gotham, it just hides better. So back you go to hiding out in void spaces to avoid avid good boy superheroes who just will not give you a break.

As a child you were told eating the Treasure Treasure fruit was the stupidest decision you could have ever made. It was pointless, offering no additional skills to assist or support the Supreme Commander's family or scientific endeavours. As useless as the overly emotional boy you were assigned to follow and serve, branded with the number 3 with a line scored through it.
But, as you lay in a courtyard, surrounded by marines vying for your capture and execution, and stared up at the grinning boy in a scruffy straw hat, you realised no.
There were much much stupider decisions to be made.

Summary
“The Treasure Treaure fruit is odd, even for a Devil Fruit. It allows the user clear visual of a person’s truest realest dream or wish if it exists in the world and directs them to it. Not clearly though, no. No map can be used to direct the person, no exact co-ordinates or useful tips. The user becomes the most valuable compass in the world for the over achievers in this life. Don’t know what help it’ll be to us though.”
Doctor Creata turns to Judge Vinsmoke, the intense mass of a man of gold and armor staring down at you from a dizzying height.
“We only had four left but they were called to that one, I suppose. Which child shall we assign them?”
The Supreme Commander breathes in deeply, eyes never leaving you.
“A useless power for us, as we know how and where to achieve all our goals. It would only be fitting to pair them with my most useless of offspring, a black mark upon a black mark.”
