Izuku nods to himself, at least they’re just talking. “I tripped.”
Kacchan shakes his head, “No, not that.”
Now Izuku feels confused, but he waits, knowing Kacchan has more to say.
“I’m not angry at all…” He breathes, gripping the front of his uniform tightly still looking at him, “It’s gone. All of it.”
Izuku can see he’s starting to panic, he carefully maneuvers so they can see eachother better. “What’s gone, Kacchan?” he tries to keep his voice steady.
“The negative feelings i’ve had about you since we were four.”
_So, you know the prototypes where Midoriya (Yamikumo) was supposed to be more quiet and reserved and Bakugou was supposed to friendly and charming and everyone thought those two were cute?
Well... what if that's how things were supposed to go? What if their current 'canon' relationship and strain was ultimately the cause of a seemingly benign quirk used on them when they were four?
