Simon’s first instinct is to get as far away from Crown Prince Wilhelm as possible. But then inexplicably, he finds himself wanting something different. Something wrong.

What Simon hopes to find on his summer road trip: Peace, quiet, lightness, a less stressed-out version of himself.
What he finds instead: A stranger who seems even more desperate than Simon to get away from everything.Wille has absolutely no idea where he wants to go when Simon graciously offers him a ride in some random Italian town. He figures he can start by following Simon... pretty much wherever, for as long as he'll take him along.
It seems that car trouble might be the least of their worries as it gets harder and harder to ignore their mutual attraction. And ignore it they must, because nobody needs further complications. Right?

It's incredibly endearing, and all at once, Simon has the sinking feeling that his crush never quite went away. That, maybe it wasn't all lust and circumstance, that maybe his attraction to Wille went deeper than that.
Then, Wille is saying the words that will change the trajectory of their friendship forever.
