Okay, before you get mad, I can EXPLAIN.
Alright!! I only snuck out because I wanted to get my first Pokémon like a responsible eleven-year-old, and I wore my Quiet Slippers™ so I wouldn’t wake you. Genius, right? Except… I might have gotten a bit lost in the dark forest but it was absolutely not my fault. (You taught me constellations wrong! The Butt isn’t a good guide!) I screamed at a ghost, but GOOD NEWS! It was actually a Pokémon and now we’re best friends. I may have fallen out of a tree, shot fireworks, and almost hit you… but I FIXED IT. John got kidnapped by his evil twin (Boss Yellow, and yeah he wears that much yellow) but I rescued him! Mostly. With my new best friends help. (He’s AMAZING.)
Anyway, I’m fine! Totally fine. Covered in grass stains, but fine. And I brought home a shiny new best friend. So… you’re proud of me, right?

Summary
Dr Hannibal Lecter MD, infamous yet oddly feted cannibalistic serial killer, receives so much mail while incarcerated at the BSHCI that additional staff have to be employed to sort and vet it.
It’s not only the amount of correspondence that’s slightly alarming - it’s also the sheer variety. Underwear - both pristine and soiled; artworks - running the gamut from stick figures through to worthy of gallery display; letters with declarations of love, hate and tips on the path to redemption (often involving donating the Chandler Square house as down payment) plus nascent serial killers looking for how-to tips.
But there’s one item that arrives early every month without fail. And it needs to be delivered to Dr Lecter post-haste.

“I’m flattered,” Regina says dryly.
Her voice sounds a little strained, and Emma tries to lighten the tone. She hadn’t thought Regina would be uncomfortable with the idea of…well, Henry has two mommies, but the Enchanted Forest had seemed a little regressive. “What? Are you saying I’m not on your list?”
“Yes, Emma,” Regina says, and she barks out a choked laugh of her own. “If I were into women, you would definitely be on my list.”

“I was told a double rush order would be here in twenty minutes or less,” she said coolly, and gestured to the clock on the wall beside them.
Looking over, Emma saw the face reading 6:45, just a few minutes past the twenty minute deadline. Eyes narrowing slightly, she licked her lips. “Yeah, it’s just a couple minutes past,” Emma said, and shifted her weight to one hip.
Tilting her chin up slightly she repeated, “Twenty minutes or less,” and Emma felt her head start to pound. What a way to end the day.
Bike messenger AU, in which Regina is a CEO that enjoys messing with Emma, and Emma does not back down. For the sake of her job, of course, and not because of the way Regina eyes light up when she's angry.
