"You sure did!" Bokuto bellowed, pounding the steering wheel, tears streaming down his face.
Hinata’s laughter rose, then fell, his chest heaving as the car sped down the rural roads, the glittering house shrinking behind them. But as the car veered back toward civilization, the air grew colder. Hinata’s laughter softened, then died away, the night air sobering him.

Hinata grins, and he probably looks like a madman, smiling to himself under the streetlight, but he can’t help it!
