She smiled at him sweetly, clearly happy with the result of her efforts. “I’ll be back down asap,” she chimed, turning around and hurrying down the hall. Steve watched the sway of her skirt as her hips moved, his jaw clenching with loath. He couldn’t stand her wearing those kinds of things outside of the house, but he didn’t want to hail down on her like an authoritarian. He wanted her to be open with him, to see him as reliable and understanding. He let her wear whatever she liked, and she thankfully didn’t have too skimpy of a taste in fashion.
Just as she reached the bottom of the stairs to the upper floor, Steve called out to her, making her turn around and look at him expectantly.
“Yeah Steve?” she waited.
“I’ve told you a hundred times, Mel,” he spoke with a glint in his eyes that she could see from across the dim hallway. “Dad. Not Steve.”

Bucky and Steve had always been meant to keep her safe and happy. As far as anyone else was concerned, that was their sole reason for being alive.
Unfortunately, the things that kept her safe were not always the things that kept her happy. Lately, she was making it pretty damn hard for them to compromise."Sweetheart," Steve pins her with a sharp look, that muscle in his jaw ticking, "Don't make this harder on yourself."
"You said not to go out the front door," she says defiantly, lips set in a pout, "You didn't say anything about the window."
Bucky is immediately on edge from the dark, feral look in Steve's eyes. Without warning, Steve grabs her by the upper arm, dragging her over to the sofa, and yanking her down to lay over his lap. She's too shocked for anything to come out of her mouth except for an indignant little shriek.
"If you want to act like a little brat," Steve growls, "Then I'm sure as shit gonna treat you like one." He looks up at Bucky, who is still standing in the middle of the living room. "How many, Buck?"
"How many?"
"How many times should I spank her? How many does she deserve?"
Well, Bucky has to stop and think that one through.

This one is a request and under a pseud for a different type of story than what I usually write. This is a dark tale that takes place after the Infinity War but before Avengers 4. Steve Rogers has lost most of those he had left to the snap and loneliness is battle he's losing. What starts out as an honest intention to help a girl who has caught his eye in daily life becomes a dangerous obsession where the lines of what's real and what's fantasy are blurred.

“Um, I really like him too,” you reply quickly. “I do. I wouldn’t let just anyone do to me what...what he was doing.” Immediately after the words leave your mouth you wish you could yank them back in. You’re blushing furiously but the car is dark, so hopefully you’re the only one who notices.
You catch Steve’s half-smile in the passing streetlights. “It’s alright. Peter’s a good kid, I trust him.” Which isn’t really what you were saying, but then his next words are, “You’re a beautiful girl, sweetheart. Stunning, really.” His eyes travel down your body, just once. “Pete’s a lucky boy. If Bucky and I were closer to your age, we’d both be fighting him for your attention.”
