Summary
Quick even on the wet stone shelf, Astarion skittered over and planted a hand on that fragile chest, shoving him into the wall. In lieu of speaking his disdain he hissed, baring twin rows of needle-sharp teeth.
Stay, stupid.
Oh.
His human's eyes went so wide when Astarion did that, so wet, and somehow they were even prettier. So too did that fluttering heart kick up under Astarion's palm as brittle ribs swelled with heavy, heaving breaths, even as the rest of that whiskered face remained stubbornly impassive.
A pleasant shiver coursed through Astarion's body and pooled low. Like swimming through a cold spot, the chill clinging in his wake. Something deep, hungry, essential within purred, so very pleased to see such a willful creature cowed, attentive, and in spite of his best efforts, afraid.
The rest of Astarion rather liked it too.
Astarion's existence is simple: eat fish, collect trinkets, and always listen when the master calls. After centuries of dragging sailors down into the dark, it only takes one fateful encounter to remind him of something long-forgotten: he was not always a monster. Summary
"Ah, now Minsc understands. He has seen that twinkle in your eyes on many-a-person before. One that wishes for pantsless bodies and soft beds." Either Minsc is politely ignoring how red Gale's face must be turning, or he is enjoying every new shade of scarlet he's managing to pull from his burning cheeks. The smug little smile on his lips seems to indicate the latter. "You do not need to hide your desires from me, little wizard, you are far from the first to want Minsc to touch in all of the tender places. I am happy to do it if you ask, though I do wonder– is it not our whiny vampire that has caught your interest? It is him you trail like a lost puppy-dog, not Minsc."
The day after defeating Orin, Gale is left at the Elfsong in the care of Minsc to recover from the ordeal. Unfortunately, the process of healing from being a Bhaalists's pincushion for a tenday is only a fraction of what's eating away at him. Now he's stuck at camp, hopelessly pining after their rogue, and grappling with just how damnably burdensome he is on the rest of his companions...
Or- Gale gets a perspective change and a lesson in love by being folded by the big dumb ranger. Yippie! 🎉

Summary
The shape of his tower loomed in the distance, not so tall as to be imposing on the skyline, but still visible from where he was, several blocks away. With the full moon behind, it pierced the night sky like a needle, windows darkened for the first time in years. How could one not feel regret? Over three decades spent in shadow while his beloved city was bathed in music, color, and light, and now that he finally had the courage to step out once more, he was all but pressed against the nearest wall, watching pensively as revelers danced their way down brightly lit streets.
With a shake of his head, he broke out of the spiral once more.
We deserve this.
They deserved this.
There's no denying that Gale and Astarion met under... strange circumstances, so what better time than Lliira's Night to meet as strangers and treat each other to something sweet and ordinary? For day 7 of Bloodweave Week - Masquerade & Stargazing

Summary
He could have said no. Refused to aid in the ritual that screamed its profound wickedness.
Instead he bargained his lover's soul for safety. Doomed him to bear the burden of seven thousand lives made hells fodder. Passed him the mantle of master, monster. An act of profound selfishness wrapped in a promise of power. A promise his pitiful, mortal body proves he failed to keep.
Perhaps Astarion finally understands that.
Perhaps he finally hates him for it.
The night Gale changes from dark consort to vampiric bride, and what a relief it is. For day 1 of Bloodweave Week 2025 - Post-Canon & Sunrise

Summary
Maybe this was a mistake. He'd told Karlach it was far too soon, but she had wholeheartedly disagreed. Years of distance, hurt, anger... surely it couldn't be mended so quickly.
Karlach has invited Astarion to see her band play at a local dive bar, which would be all well and good if it wasn't also a ploy to get Astarion and the man he once considered his best friend in a room together.
