Summary
After years of not speaking, Marco gets a surprise wedding invitation from his ex-best friend, Jean, who'd seemingly faded from his life without a word. He should have thrown the invitation in the trash and protected his heart, but curiosity and past unrequited feelings get the best of him, and he finds himself on a flight to Arizona to watch the man he'd fallen in love with in college gift someone else his last name.
Will this be the closure he needs? Or will it open up a can of raw, devastating regret? He doesn't know, but if there's any chance he can get some answers, he's willing to take the risk.

Now, the retirement home doesn't mean it'll be there forever. It just means there's a high likelihood I'm not going to finish them.So who knows. I certainly don't lol.

Summary
Stuck in a cheap motel room in middle-of-nowhere Nevada, Floch and Jean are now criminals on the run. When coming to terms with their rather urgent situation, they must reflect on their lives, what they've done, and figure out what hard decisions they must make next.
Something in the Orange is a #FJPride month entry for the prompt Orange. Although the story isn't based entirely upon its lyrics, it is influenced by some included lines in the song 'Something in the Orange' by Zach Bryan.

Summary
Set in the French countryside during the early 1900s, Floch and Jean have been unlikely friends since they were young - a rich boy and the son of a gardener. Throughout the years, their friendship flourished just like the garden that separated their worlds. Underneath that though, something else began to bloom, feelings that were much deeper but could never be explored. Now, it may be too late.

He struggles with blaming himself and feeling his teammates lose all trust in him as he becomes more isolated from everyone. The only person that seems to be on his side is Jean, his captain and upperclassman who he happens to have feelings for.

He knew he should’ve simply slit the boy’s throat the moment he found him. That would’ve been the smarter thing to do, for once, and perhaps even a small mercy. No names, no questions – just another corpse sprawled among many.
But he hadn’t. And now the boy had a name, and a voice, and eyes too old for his face.
