Summary
Sam made comments and asked a few questions from time to time. In those moments, when they were cooking or talking about books, Sam would see Castiel laugh softly, lean over to give him something without touching it, and then stare at him intently, as if he wanted to learn every detail of his face. They were small gestures, but Sam didn't know what to make of them. They hurt him and gave him hope at the same time.
Because it was nice when they didn't go straight to sex.
