As someone who’s a hundred pounds sopping wet, only five foot three, and barely strong enough to carry a laptop for very long, I have to wonder why I of all people got thrust into the role of inquisitor. Summary
For as much as humans and angara have in common, there is still a lot more that is different, including a few hold over instincts angara have from an earlier time. It isn't uncommon for angara to be able to smell changes in their partner's hormones and pheromones after a few months of being together, changes that signal the best time to try for kids and trigger a nagging instinct in the back of the mind. Unfortunately for Jaal, not being able to have biological kids with Sara does not change the instinct to try.
