Summary
Astarion Ancunin is the newest academic to walk through the doors of the Baldurian Museum of Natural History and Peoples with the intent of studying a rare set of enchanted garments from nearly 450 years prior.
When he arrives at the museum, he finds a passionate staff, woeful attendance, and a looming threat over the entire facility.
Astarion, despite himself, steps in to help save this place that has been kept alive via passion a donated time, and finds some new connections along the way.

(The life of an over-the-road trucker isn’t easy, and neither is the life of a monster hunter. Wyll is both. When he comes across Astarion soliciting in a truck stop parking lot, Wyll is sorely tempted to pay for his company. He’ll end up paying for it in more ways than one.)

Surprised, Astarion breaks away from the kiss, turning over his shoulder to see a second, identical Gale peering in from the balcony, wide-eyed as he watches.
Astarion looks at the Gale in his arms for a moment, still breathless from the kiss, before turning back to this unwitting voyeur with a mischievous grin.
Hm. Maybe that’s my Gale…
Astarion wakes to an empty bed. When he seeks his beloved out, he finds himself getting more Gale than he'd bargained for.

"Astarion is not just sick in body," Szarr interrupts. "I'm afraid he's also quite sick in the mind. And you understand the mind, Wyll. You understand it better than many of the students I've seen over my years here. So please, tell me. Are you willing to do this?"
