Summary
If Hythlodaeus were in charge of writing the First’s history books, he would have started with the Flood’s end.
He’d spend the first chapter detailing the incredible, awful process of Light sickness, and how it corrupted frail soul shards into pure unidentifiable energy. He would’ve given a nod to Mitron and Loghrif for messing up so badly that the First’s inhabitants were nearly lost to eternity.
After that, he would list out the fifteen best songs native to the First, and note which ones he was personally good or bad at performing.
( In which Hythlodaeus is a reformed Ascian, allegedly; and the Exarch learns to live with that, maybe. )
