Summary
Steve cops a faceful of Upside Down flower pollen in the tunnels, hours after Billy Hargrove tries to punch Steve's brain out the back of his head. Beyond the general hubbub of UD bullshit, Steve thinks he's made it out pretty much unscathed.
Months later, he makes a discovery. Turns out, he's much more intact than he'd thought. As in, his skin is baby smooth. Even the scar on his knee from his ill-advised ‘77 summer of skateboarding has disappeared.
OR: Steve Harrington can take a hit. He can take many hits. In fact, thanks to the Upside Down, there isn't a hit Steve can't take.

Midoriya Izuku was a hero fanboy, all the way. He still had his doubts over how perfect heroes were, but that didn't stop him from dreaming! Even if he was quirkless, and everyone said he couldn't, he still hoped he could become a hero.
All that changed the day his best friend told him to jump off a roof, his Hero crushed his dreams, and all his faith in hero society shattered.
He now had a new dream. If society said he couldn't be a hero, he would be the one to destroy it, instead.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku didn't change overnight. The process was slow and gradual, the end result of a life filled with rejections and roadblocks: All Might's refusal to train him, the daily torment of his friends and teachers, the crushing weight of society's collective dismissal of his existence. Not even life as a student in U.A.'s General Studies course could dampen his ambition- but everyone has a breaking point.
