Summary
Seventeen year old Dean takes off with his kid brother and his dad's car. He might have fucked up his own life by drinking, and dropping out of school, but he's not going to let his brother go down the same path. He's not sure exactly where he is going until he stumbles upon a restaurant/motel/swimming hole/campsite his mom used to take them to before he died. The owner Ellen treats him like family which means her whole gaggle of misfits are his family now too.

When Dean Winchester show up at his brother's dorm room in 2005 he's got a "baby on board", his thirteen month old daughter. He and Cassie split custody, and Dean doesn't want to lose a day of "his turn" even though dad is is missing.
Covers season one and two, but not in any detail, and with plenty of divergence from cannon.
Saw the idea of Dean as a girl dad on tumblr ages back, and couldn't get the idea out of my head, because I really think it would change just about everything. -

When TK get scared he doesn't run away from his family like he did from Carlos. They land on a happily ever after a bit earlier and with more alive family members than the show. -
