The German Shepard had taken to following her around the manor when she was visiting, which was often these days. Del also had Alfred the Cat in her arms. The cat was purring loud enough for Bruce to be able to hear him from across the room.
“I’m looking at some financial reports,” he told Delaney. “When did you get here?”
“What’s the clock time say?” she asked, stepping into the study.
“It’s almost four thirty."
“Okay, but I still don’t know.”
