Gojou turned around and began walking, dragging Mahito across the ground besides him. “However, I can’t just let you go,” he tightened his grip slightly, squeezing the curse’s airways as its legs scraped against debris and concrete.
“I’ll just have to keep you until it’s time for you to die.”

Summary
Eren's excessively negative ruminations have locked him in a cage and thrown away the key. He desperately wants to escape, or at least that's what he tells himself. There's no way he could consider that he doesn't actually want any control, or that maybe he wants someone to hold his life in their hands, bending and breaking him to their heart's content.
It's weird to consider that maybe he's not living in his own world after all, but existing as a precious object in someone else's.

This was supposed to be a fun date night, but it turned out like it usually did.
