Summary
The doctor had told the couple that Seungcheol could experience a defensive rut. Rather than making an alpha super horny, a defensive rut causes them to shift into a hard ‘protect and take care of my family/pack’ mode. They typically only occur in mated alphas, especially after having their first child. They can happen to any new alpha father but it almost always happens to alphas who have very dominant pheromones, like Seungcheol.
