Summary

Sasuke recoiled so violently he near tumbled off the bed.
“What the hell was that?” He rasped.
Naruto blinked, dazed. “I… you were… you wanted—”
“Were you rumbling at me?”
The alpha froze, palm still hovering where Sasuke’s shoulder had been. “I… didn’t realise I—”
“What are you doing?” Sasuke scrambled towards the door. “You only do that for omegas.”
Naruto’s throat worked, gaze darting to the rumpled sheets. “Your scent’s just… different. Sweeter. Like burnt caramel or—”
“Dessert?” Sasuke spat the word, acid on his tongue. Humiliation scalded him. He stormed towards the bathroom, Naruto’s stricken expression seared into his periphery. The alpha hadn’t moved, pupils blown wide as if drowning in a pheromone fog.
