    Dick knew that things weren’t going to be the same when he came back from Spyral. He expected the hatred and disgust everyone threw his way because he faked his death (no, he really did die). He expected his friends and family to turn their backs on him, wanting nothing to do with him anymore.

    He hurt them, lied to them, betrayed them.

    So when the Court of Owls kidnapped and tortured him to be their Talon (jokes on them, you can’t break what’s already broken), he didn’t expect anyone to save him.

    Summary

    Dick Grayson and Jason Todd meet at Linden Juvenile Detention Center, it's all downhill from there. The juvie in Gotham isn't known for being particularly comfortable nor safe.
    They meet again as Talon and Red Hood, fighting from two different sides of a war while trying to uncover everything they've forgotten.
    The last time they meet are as Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, the long lost brothers who are finally together.

    Basically a little series about Dick's non-canon life, take in mind that he's sort of age-changed and around 8-10 years old in this series!

    He had been called many things in his life. Nightwing. Monster. Talon. Son. Hero. Each title had been true, in its' own right. Then he would shed it for the next role that was assigned to him. That had always been how it was for him. It was how he evolved and grew. Letting go of the past, and looking to the future.

    The Court of Owls had prided themselves on trying to strip that away from him. Taking away everything that made him who he was. Trying to leave nothing but a mindless Talon. Ensuring that the only path he had left to follow was to embrace his true 'destiny' as the Gray Son of Gotham. They had nearly succeeded.

    But no matter what others called him, he would always be Dick Grayson.
