Summary
John "Soap" MacTavish is a Pitbull Hybrid in a world that makes it quite clear that he's unwanted because his breed is considered "dangerous." There are strict laws against his fully animal counterparts, and sometimes people use that to their advantage against hybrids of his type. Heavily discriminated against, Soap joins the military and finds a place in the 141 where he's assigned to handler Simon "Ghost" Riley, and for the first time in his life Soap is treated as an equal.

Summary
Makarov became obsessed with Soap and nursed him back to health after shooting him in the head in the tunnel. The 141 thinks he's dead until Ghost and Price find him living an idyllic life with the very terrorist they'd been chasing to exact revenge on Soap's behalf. Soap only has bits and pieces of his memories, none of them involving the 141. Ghost tries to push him away to "protect" Soap from their old life. Gaz and Rudy are not happy about Ghost's behavior in the slightest. Soap loses grasp of what's real and what isn't.

Summary
Rudy was the one to clean up the aftermath. However, this time when everything died down, all the cleaning was done, and everyone went to bed Rudy walked out to the docks and broke down.
He usually sheds a couple of tears. Cried quickly and quietly, then moved on. This time though Rudy shook as sobs broke from him, hiccuping harshly. The tears just wouldn’t stop.

Summary
The universe had this tendency to be unkind to Simon Riley.
It was after a rough mission, and he did not want to deal with forcing himself to be in his role. He avoided his pack, even avoided medical to get clean, tend his wounds, and crawl into the comfort of his nest which he recently refreshed with new clothes he swiped from everyone else’s laundry.
He was so tired he passed out almost immediately in his very plush, very soft nest after donning Soap’s old collar.
“Simon?” Price had gone to look for him, Simon broke off from the group in a way that was quick even for him. “Simon, I’m coming in.”
Price used his master key and saw his partner curled up in a nest. He knew Soap didn’t make it and it was unlike Ghost to seek someone outside the pack.
“Simon?” Price nudged Ghost.
“Alpha, please… I’m tired,” Ghost grumbled in his sleep until he realized he wasn’t dreaming the touch.

So far, Ghost has managed to hide his omegan bearing from everyone. Having a personnel file with more redactions than words certainly helps. At least until he falters thanks to one loud, annoying, downright bloody perfect Scottish alpha.
