Summary
The sound of ceramic smashing against the floor came after he had turned, and he barely cared for the ruined Superman memorabilia mug when he was graced with the sight of Bruce.
Sun-warmed, sleep-sweet Bruce, his blushing skin drained of colour and with blood running down his lips and a wide eyed stare.
Neither of them could say anything before the world came crashing down. Or maybe that was just Bruce. Or maybe it didn't matter, because Bruce was his world.
And Bruce was gone.
Aka, Clark goes back in time to save his lover from dying. Too bad they didn't specific which way, or when. But hey, at least he has the help of himself. That has to count for something, right?

Summary
Death.
It is sadly as constant as life, both equivocally interlocked. Like the Moon to the Sun, Night to Day, Power and Balance. It licks at one's heels like fire, it is not a matter of if you'll die, it is simply when.
For Bruce, born of the cries of his people in the throes of despair, death is but a close companion, a fellow confidant, something that is more him than he is. The Night stalks the streets of Gotham, seeking to save his people or lead their spirits to a better place. He is a beacon of hope amongst the pain, not simply a saviour, but a shepherd, a lighthouse, a signal. An ethereal moon shining bright in the dark, illuminating the dreary night sky. But sometimes that cross weighs heavy.
For Clark however, death is an enemy rivalled only by the grief it brings in its wake. His life crumbles at his parent's death, forcing him to grapple with his earthly origins and unearthly powers. With his loving family at his back, he learns to accept his abilities as a part of him, something phenomenal, powerful. A beautiful sun, blazing in all his glory, a budding symbol of hope for the wronged.
What will happen, when the Sun and the Moon cross paths? An eclipse, of course.

Summary
It all went without much issue, until the big blue giant opened his mouth and uttered the next few words in the same syrupy tone.
“That's it, you are doing so good.”
Oh.
If Bruce was a lesser man, he would have stopped dead in his tracks. As it was, he simply disguised his stumble as an irregular patch of concrete and carried on.
Where had that come from?
Aka; Bruce needed to learn echolocation yesterday. He should learn something from the bats in his cave, then he wouldn't be forced to have realisations about himself in unfortunate situations like this.

You grow into the person who would’ve protected you as a child.
Alfred finds himself left with a little boy to care for. Not just any boy, but a Wayne, destined for greatness like his parents. He does his best to raise him, and it hurts his heart - really it does - but sometimes that means discipline.
Bruce knows he’s not good. Well aware that he deserved what Alfred gave him when he was a child. But now that he has children of his own, Bruce can’t fathom disciplining them like he was.That doesn’t mean Alfred was wrong to inflict those punishments on Bruce. Bruce deserved it. Just not his kids.
