Summary
Haruno Sakura has never felt pressured to marry well, or even to marry at all. Unlike her friends, one of which is in love with the new neighbor, one of which chases anything in a military uniform, and one of which doesn't believe in love at all, Sakura only wishes to maintain her pride. So when that pride is trampled on by the handsome but hateful Uchiha Sasuke, she doesn't hesitate to immediately dislike him and maintain her pride in every way possible.
Uchiha Sasuke is only in this neighborhood for his good friend when he encounters a woman he declares is unattractive in every way. Unfortunately, no sooner had he said those very words when he finds he is very wrong and he is relentlessly and curiously attracted to Haruno Sakura. As he falls more and more out of control, he tries to salvage his pride, only to realize he struggles in vain.
